Excuse Me?
Katie hummed softly to herself as she jogged around the grounds. It was such a lovely time of year: September that was. The air was crisp and cool without being too cold. She was thinking about nothing but the soft sound of fallen leaves underneath her black leather boots and the smooth rush if wind against her skin.
She smiled as get hair blew in the wind. Her early morning ruins around the grounds had become a routine for her that made Katie feel refreshed before she started her day. There weren't any other people milling about to disrupt her and she didn't have to slow down for anyone. It was a bliss.
She skidded abruptly to a halt as she noticed someone coming towards her. Seriously? So much for none r else around. Who did this person think they were to impede on her routine. And you are? she asked, her voice filling with contempt. Normally she didn't speak in such a manner, but she'd just slowed down to accommodate this newcomer coming at her in her direction. She was irritated that her morning routine had been interrupted. She worked hard to keep a rhythm while running, and this kid just thought they could barge in and intrude on it? She'd gotten up extra early for the sole purpose of NOT being interrupted. Who was this person anyway?

Her outfit
Riley hugged herself, it was somewhat chilly. Her sweater was warm, but not warm enough. She shivered a little bit, examining the grounds. The grounds were so beautiful, it was one of her favorite places in the school. Even when it was cold outside, she came outside and sat, read, or just walked around and thought. She loved to look at the school, it even looked magical. It was always beautiful, especially in the winter with the snow on the towers. She loved it here, she was so glad she was able to go here.
She noticed a girl jogging, she seemed nice enough and Riley had been looking for someone to talk to, though it was early so not a lot of people were outside. She hoped the girl wouldn't be upset that she was approaching her. She walked over to the girl, hoping she didn't seem intruding.
"I'm Riley. Who are you?" She smiled, though the girl seemed upset. She hoped she had not upset the girl, she didn't like drama, but if the girl was picking a fight, Riley would have no choice but to be rude back. She offered her hand, an attempt to be polite.

I'm the girl whose morning routine you just interrupted. Katie said with a slight sneer. She could tell the girl hadn't mean harm, but come on! It was barely five am. She'd gotten up to do this alone, and here this girl was, imposing in that privilege that she had allotted to herself.Interacting with @Riley Arcite
Alright. I get that I can't monopolize the grounds, but I had to slow down because you were coming right at me. Katie added, hoping the girl would get the hint. She really didn't like to be interrupted. Yesterday, her coffee had been spilled on her robes and her friend's journal had been ruined by a clumsy Gryffindor. Now, her morning routine was being interrupted and sabotaged by this girl? Wss the universe out to ruin her mornings? Foolish people!
Well? she asked, hoping the girl would get the huge hint she was giving to just leave already. Could people be that inconsiderate? She looked at the girl expectantly. are you just going to stand there? Or are you actually going to move I hopefully the next five years if I'm lucky? she asked rudely, already quite annoyed about having to pause to slow down for her. She just needed to move and leave. Not go of on a tangent. Not just stand their shape. Move and leave. Move and leave. It was that simple.
