Gloomy clouds
It probably wasn't the nicest weather to be sitting on the quidditch stands with someone. The wind was cold and hitting everybody with fall leaves, While Jo was sitting shivering in her not very warm winter clothes, (it was fall In the Scottish mountains, and her winter clothes felt more like they should be worn in spring,) Teeth clattering she Saw a girl with Curley Brown hair and glasses approaching her, this was her Best friend Riley Arcite.Date: October 11 12:30 pm
Jo smiled to herself, Riley and Jo clicked the moment that they became friends, they've known each other for about a month and a half now, but it felt like it was for years, she was always glad to Have Riley as a friend and hoped and if she wasn't atheist would have prayed that Riley felt the same about her.
"Hi!" she waved her hand a bit redder than usual, she quickly started to rub her hands together to warm them up. She hated cold weather but liked the view of it. She looked out onto the Quidditch pitch, it wasn't dropping in colours as it did at the start of quidditch season or games.
She and Riley had arranged to meet and talk here because Hogwarts was crowded with people since the weather was so awful. She sighed and looked down on her hands they were now stained with ink before she came to Hogwarts it was usually small wounds from all the times she tripped and fell and landed on her hands.
"What do you think Riley?" She said as she gazed onto the quidditch stands, if it was any darker this would have been classified as creepy, but right now in the light of the warmest part of the day, it was actually oddly beautiful. She looked back at Riley, she had an odd feeling in her stomach as their eyes met. It would have to wait for now.Interactions: @Riley Arcite

Gloomy clouds
Riley pulled her winter coat tighter around her, shivering a bit. She and Jo had agreed to meet out here, in the Quidditch stands, but it was cold. She spotted Jo as soon as she stepped onto the Quidditch field, as nobody else was crazy enough to be out here in the cold. She felt the butterflies in her stomach come back to life as they always did when she saw Jo. She grinned and waved, going over to her.Interactions: @Josette Rutledge
"It's cold"She laughed "It's pretty though." She sat down next to Jo, pulling her legs up onto the seat and hugging them. She glanced at the Quidditch field, thinking about the games. She had never been to one, but she had seen them and heard about them. She could barely believe it was real, flying broomsticks and balls, but it was.
Riley studied Jo, shivering in the cold. She wasn't exactly sure why, but almost as soon as they met, they clicked and they'd been best friends since. Riley was pretty sure she liked Jo as more than a friend, but she wanted to save that for... later. She had been keeping that feeling deep inside of her, not wanting to tell anyone. It scared her enough, knowing she would go to the autumn ball with Jo.

Gloomy clouds
It was pretty cold and it was very nice to have somebody by her The more the marrier.
"It really feels like everybody but us two are staying inside doesn't it?" she said as she smiled tilting her head to look at Riley. Her stomach filled with butterflies for what probably the first time in Jo's life when she was just meerly looking at someone.
She thought about the feeling for a moment, her face was already red from the cold. But even though it was as red as Jo had ever seen it managed to turn even more so, as she came to a realization. She quickly turned away from Riley, not in disqust but to just have a moment to herself."Yeah it really does look pretty" she said to Riley right before muttering "Damn it! I like her.." very quickly in a thick Irish accent she gets when she talks quickly, the words were filled with a weird tone, somewhat happy angry, and sad.
She quickly looked at the quidditch Pitch, she wanted to imagine that there was a quidditch game and they just didn't come out here because there was no place inside for them to hang out because it was too loud.
"I don't really like loud sounds- they can be comforting at times but usually they remind me of my Muggle school, which i don't really have fond memories of. At all." She laughed to herself, it was true. She didn't have a single fond memory Of the years she had spent in her Muggle school.
"It at times really feels like hogwarts is the only place where i belong." she sighed, maybe she didn't hear her say that she liked her. It was a realization she Was surprised and kind of awed by. It would have to wait though.@Riley Arcite
