Charms Class OOC Questions

Hello there everyone!

So, I am completing my first year charm homework and am on the last lesson which discusses the "Umbrella Charm." However, I came to the last question which asks for similar spells.

I have looked on the wiki and other sources, but cannot seem to find anything. If anyone could help me out, that would be fabulous!

Along with that, I am also having a bit of trouble understanding the question itself.

This question is asking you what spells are here in the Wizarding word but are not used in the everyday life of a Wizard. I would give you examples but that is giving away the answer. I would suggest looking on the Wiki and reading through all the descriptions of the spells on this area. It is all in alphabetical order and the spells are all described in detail.

Look for the spells that possibly will not be used that often. Something that not everyone will know about but it still exists.

The initial question is asking for 2 spells that are 'similar' to the Umbrella because they are not used that often. It wants an explanation on what the spell does and why you think that it is similar to the Umbrella Spell. Adding in smaller details like the wand movement or incantation can also help push some of those points to an O.

Controlling another player's actions (including speech) is called god-modding. To my knowledge, that is not allowed, unless, I believe, you ask for permission from the player.

You are allowed to write your student practicing the spell and failing to cast it as it will still count that you "practiced" the spell. However, as it was stated, writing that I was speaking when I didn't say anything is god-modding. You can write that a student in your class helped you out if you wish, or even state that there was an upper classman helping in the Charms classroom that day and they helped you with your spelllwork if you truly wish for someone to help guide you in your RP.
