Letters to the Most Chaotic School pv Closed

Greetings Angélique,
I am Katie Palsorette. I attend Hogwarts, and though I am only a first year, I'd be happy to help you out.
As I said my name is Katie Palsorette. I am in the Slytherin house. Do you have houses at Beauxbottoms? At Hogwarts we are sorted into four houses based on our personality traits. There's a singing sorting hat that does it by looking inside our minds. Each house is based on one of the four founders.
Salazar Slytherin, Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Helga Hufflepuff. Slytherin is the house of the cunning and ambitious. That's the house I'm in. Our house animal is the snake and our computers are green and silver. Hufflepuff is the house of the loyal and hard-working. Their house animal is the badger and their colors are yellow and black. Gryffindor is the house of the daring and brave. Their house animal is the lion and their colors are red and gold. Ravenclaw is the house of the witty and smart. Their house animal is the eagle and their colors are blue and bronze.
Sorry. That was probably a lot more information than you asked for. I just thought I'd give you a run down of the houses first. Are you going to become a transfer student?

Greetings Katie,

That is all very interesting. I heard you get invited via owls as well. We get our invitation to the Academy in the form of an Abraxan feather. Once the feather is received, it finds the first piece of paper in its vicinity and starts writing golden lettered instructions on how to apply for Beauxbatons. We then make the trip to Cannes, where we are picked up and escorted to the palace of Beauxbatons by a carriage pulled by a dozen Abraxan horses.

We don’t really have houses in the same respect as you do. We are mainly separated by boys and girls. After our first four years of schooling, we have to choose to go to a different school or specializing in something that our current school offers. If you are going to specialize in a guild, there is a ball with the staff to help promote yourself for tutorage. I don’t know all of the specifics as I am still, technically 3 years away from it counting this year. I just know what I’ve heard from last year, but it is interesting, to say the least.

I will not be coming as a transfer student; no, I will be coming as apart of the Broom Racing team and whatever kind of formal occasion Hogwarts is putting on. Durmstrang and Illvermorny students will be there as well. I’ve heard rumors about a ball of some kind, but I’ve heard even you guys do not have the full details yet. Are you excited for the ball?

No, not too casual at all. Usually, when someone signs a letter a certain way that allows you to address them as such, so do not worry!

I do not think the professors are in the habit of forcing the students to go to a ball, so I do not believe you will have to worry too much. I know they can be dreadful sometimes, but it seems like you have a plan of action, which is also good. It is always nice to have a quiet evening with your friend, and while I would say you should try to make small steps to someday put yourself out there, it takes time, and you shouldn’t push yourself to do so either.

As far as Broom racing, as far as I know, there hasn’t been a team at Hogwarts in a very long time or if ever? I’m honestly not sure, but I know your school is putting together a team this year to go against us. I am very excited to see what Hogwarts can put together for us. I would like to think that I am good, but Broom racing is also circumstantial; there are many more factors that you cannot control in broom racing, so it is very interesting.

I hope to see you cheering on your school in the audience! What do you look forward to in your first year at Hogwarts?

I would not be offended if you did not cheer for me, but there is nothing wrong with cheering for both. You can maintain school pride and also cheer for a friend. I’m not sure if broom racing was really popular in Hogwarts recently, but there are many broom-related sports and games. I bet you could ask your flying professor about it.

Broom racing is pretty straight forward at least in my eyes. There is a course that racers travel with obstacles to get around. Some spell casting can be done at each other, natural obstructions, and creature obstructions. I almost hit a poor bird once, but we were both fine.

I also do not know where I will be when we get there. I know Ilvermorny stayed there last year around this time, but I think they had a place where they were lodged; it will probably be the same for all of us this year. I’m really not quite sure what my Headmaster has planned, but I am sure we will all get more details the sooner that the date comes. It is very neat that you all have differently named dorms like that; it must make it easier to get on with a smaller group of people while you acclimate.

I am sorry my letter this time took longer classes here have been a little tighter than usual, and they have been keeping us busy with homework.

Apologies for a later reply. School had been busy and I had a bunch of homework in addition to my classes.
I will be sure to cure for both teams them. Maybe cheer for whoever shows the best teamwork? Best showmanship? Regardless, I am sure that you will do great!
On my very first night at Hogwarts, I connected and became friends with a nice hotel named Hildegard. We had chatted a bit on the train, and we ended up in the Narcissa Malfoy dorm together. I must agree with you that the sectioned dorms help us acclimate. Hogwarts is so huge, and overwhelming, and after the sorting art the great hall, it was nice to have a small, more private, evening spent with only a few other Slytherin girls.
Those obstacles sound wipe the challenge, but I imagine they get easier to maneuver around the more experienced you become.

Do not feel bad for late replies school is very important so your studies always come first. I do believe that this will be the last letter I can send before I leave for Hogwarts. Though I do believe I still have time to get one more from you if you choose to write back.

I am really happy that you found someone your first night to be friends with. Bonding with someone while at boarding school is so important because we are away from our families for most of the year. So you need people you can count on in your times of need while away from home.

None of my close friends are on the team but as teammates we have our own comradery. We are a small family in our own right just like the quidditch and duelling teams. My two closest friends are into their own thing but that’s why I love them. One, Maddie, is into Dancing she is pretty amazing, and the other Cass is very well versed into studying, potions, and alchemy. I am, however, really looking forward to it.

I promise to say hello if I see you and if I don’t, I hope you have an amazing time even if you don’t go to the dance.
