Callista walked nervously towards the lake. Please tell me we won't be too close... Callista thought nervously. Deep water made her very, very nervous... especially natural deep water... It occured to her that joining this club - FEAFR - would involve a lot of... social interaction? talking with other people? She gulped nervously. People had already started to gather in the Outdoor Club Area, so that's where she headed.

She wore a light blue sweater today with black leggings. At the back of her head, she thought that maybe someone would mistake her for a Ravenclaw, but then she thought, Just because I'm a Hufflepuff doesn't mean I can't wear blue. It was ridiculous actually, the thought that you couldn't wear anything you wanted if the clothes happened to be in the color of another house. Callista wanted to put house differences aside today - then again, she tried to do that every day.

As she got closer, she recognized only a few faces - she must have seen them around the school. One face she remembered, and she was relieved to see a familiar face.

"Hi Lucia," Callista said softly. She recognized her from the train ride to Hogwarts. She seemed to be eating a muffin. Callista looked around and spotted the muffins, placed on a tablecloth draped over a rock. Out of politeness, she reached out and got one for herself, but she wasn't that hungry, having already ate dinner. Holding it in her napkin, she peered at it. Shrugging internally, she offered the muffin to Lucia. She wasn't sure if they were quite close enough for her to offer a muffin, but oh well. "Would you like my muffin? I'm not hungry," Callista said with a small smile.

Many more students trickled down into the meeting-place, and Paisley nodded at them, smiling warmly. Responding to Akari, she waved to Jess. "I'm Paisley, you're Akari, and you're Jess. There, now we know each other! It's good to meet you." she said. It could come across as impatient, but hopefully the two girls would pick up she was just excited for what she had in store. She was about to make the big reveal.
When the final few students made it down, she spoke to all of them at once, standing upon a rock.

"Ok, everyone! It looks like we're all here. This meeting is just a get to know you meeting, nothing special or fancy. I do, however, have a great idea in mind for our next meeting." she winked. "I won't make us sit in a circle and say our name and favorite color, because I have something much better planned. Besides, that's a little too cheesy for me." She pulled out of her robe something she had been keeping from the meeting members. It was a small, round ball, and to the pure-bloods and wizard-born, it was just another muggle toy. But to Paisley and all of the others who were familiar with muggle gadgets, they would recognize it as an 8 ball-the seemingly fortune-telling ball that would answer 'yes' or 'no' to all of your questions. It was dented and scratched from much rolling around inside of Paisley's suitcase, but she didn't mind. She had been asking this 8 ball questions for more years than she cared to admit. It had been one of her first toys, and she had been worried about sharing it with all of Hogwarts.

"To all of you who don't know, this is an 8 ball. It answers all your questions if you follow these simple instructions." she explained, beginning to demonstrate how to use it. You twist it, like this," she demonstrated twisting it in the palm of her hand. "And then shake it, like this." she shook it wildly, causing the water inside to slosh around loudly. "Now you ask your question. It has to be a yes or no answer. My question is, 'Will this be a successful meeting.'" Paisley hoped with all her heart that it would say yes when she flipped it over. Sometimes the 8 ball answered with completely absurd responses, and she knew it.

"My sources say no." she read aloud, her face falling into a fake frown. She then laughed heartily and looked back up. "Just kidding! It says yes. We're going to get to know each other by hearing what everyone's questions are. Does anyone want to go first?"

What was Henry doing, he was walking down the grounds toward the outdoor club area for a club meeting but why. The twelve year old hasn't been himself since the start of Hogwarts, not to mention his mind was buzzing with thoughts, worries, and his anxiety since the summer holiday so why go to a club meeting. Henry wouldn't even have been there if it wasn't for his brother, Arthur suggested he joined a club or meet new people to get out of his head or worry less about his new found hidden life and family but now all Henry sees that day as, is as a disaster.

Dressed in his worn out jeans, worn out long grey shirt, and faded greenish jacket the boy made his way down to the outdoor club area where Henry kept on having thoughts of turning back or running. As his wand was tucked inside a pocket on the side if his jacket, Henry took a slow walked toward a small group of students in the area. Henry was still rather a few feet away so they couldn't see him but as he watched, he noticed who and how many were there.

Henry watched silently from the shadows as be really didn't know anyone there besides from; Alina Rosier the hufflepuff who he met a few times before, Aemadall Zarcovich the first year Gryffindor who he was assign to tutor in transfiguration, Callista Lovis the first year he met in the library, Melissa Carson the first year he showed the defense against the dark arts classroom to, and Akari Kato the first year who was in the potions classroom with him and 5 other second years where they also got detention for something they didn't do.

Henry then saw four others whom he didn't recognized, Paisley Brown, the girl who was speaking he saw was holding some type of black ball and seemed to shake it before looking down at it. However after seeing the large gathering of students, mostly first years, Henry decided to wasn't up for socializing yet and turned to leave as he walked back up the grounds Henry spotted the trees overlooking the area so he walked inside the area hidden away by the trees.

Henry was just on the edge but no body could see him as he quickly climb the tree closest to the group and sat on one of the higher branches, the boy laid his head back on the trunk and watched the meeting happen while staying out of the sight from any if the members, actually that's why Henry liked sitting in the tree so no one could see him.

Rish was, quite literally, beaming with joy. So many people were here! She looked around at the bustling group of kids, and she didn’t realize how lost in her thoughts she was until Paisley spoke, holding an 8 ball in her hand.

"To all of you who don't know, this is an 8 ball. It answers all your questions if you follow these simple instructions." she explained, beginning to demonstrate how to use it. Rish already knew what an 8 ball is—she was raised with Muggles for eleven years, after all—but she kept listening. “You twist it, like this," she demonstrated twisting it in the palm of her hand. "And then shake it, like this." she shook it wildly, causing the water inside to slosh around loudly, causing Rish to wince just a little bit. "Now you ask your question. It has to be a yes or no answer. My question is, 'Will this be a successful meeting.'"

Rish raised an eyebrow as her expression turned into a frown, saying “My sources say no.” Rish wanted to make her feel better, to say that really, you shouldn’t just blindly believe an 8 ball, because it literally has a 20ish-sided die inside with writing on each side. You can’t just let a 2 influence your life decisions, can you?

"Just kidding! It says yes. We're going to get to know each other by hearing what everyone's questions are. Does anyone want to go first?"

Rish sighed. Of course she was kidding. She let out a small, relieved laugh for some reason, and then proceeded to ask her question, even though Paisley really hadn’t given her a signal.

“Um, will we be able to have fun with everyone?”

Rish felt like repeatedly slamming her head onto the wall and dying of laughter at the same time. What kind of a question was that?

But Rish didn’t care. She was being herself, her normal, awkward self, and that was all that mattered. She knew the club members weren’t outright mean like some bullies are.

She would eventually need to figure out who exactly those people were. It was inevitable, really. It’s not like she was oblivious to the hate that the Hufflepuff House gets, even though Rish loved the cosy atmosphere of the Hufflepuffs more than anything.

Paisley shook the ball, and suddenly something caught her eye. Someone was watching them, she was sure of it. And he was... climbing a tree?

“Sorry,” I muttered to Paisley with a small but urgent smile. “Just one second.”

She ran at first, but realized that whoever was there might be spooked by her sudden appearance, so her rapid footsteps turned into small strides, and finally into a steady pace. She finally reached that tree, and noticed a boy there, leaning his head against the trunk. She saw him, and he looked familiar. She then realized that he was a Slytherin, and was suddenly reminded of her promise (to herself, but it still mattered) to make friends from every house, and that she, conveniently, only had Slytherin left.

Granted, if he had been from any other house she would not have spoke so fast, but nonetheless she would still talk to them. But this time she just talked without thinking.

“Hello,” she said quite stupidly, “What’s your name?”

She then saw herself through his eyes; coming out of absolutely nowhere, with a cheery and loud tone, reaching her hand toward a boy who is literally up a tree. Unfortunately, the words just kept tumbling out.

“You’re in Slytherin, right?”

Of all the dumb questions she could’ve asked...

Romah jogged toward the forbidden forest where she was going to get away from the drama in the castle. As she was walking she heard a laugh and the sound of...well happiness. She ducked behind a tree and peeked around the side. She noticed a group of kids talking by a tree right on the edge of the forest. She felt a longing to go and join them but than a voice in her head appeared and said
"You can't go over there you good for nothing country kid! Just keep going toward the forest. Those kids are going to stay happy as long as you don't go near them. Remember what happened last time you tried to talk to someone..."
Romah jumped and looked around, oping no one heard her heart beating so loudly. Her mind ventures to when she lived in the farm. She didn't have to worry about anything. She could just spend her days playing with the dogs and horses and nothing bad would happen. But she was ready for a bit of a change...She stepped around the tree and put herself in the line of vision of all of the kids. "Hi. I'm Romah but you can call me Romie." she croaked. This was it...
