Making Friends

Rayna was sitting in the courtyard, with her journal. She was drawing something that just came into her mind. A boy, but he had fangs and claws. Furry and looking very sinister, but there was another person. A girl, greatly resembling her, was standing behind him, a hand almost touching his shoulder. There were tears on the drawing, it was just a sketch, a rough outline, but it still made her feel very emotional. She stared at it before she resisted the urge to throw it across the courtyard. Instead, Rayna turned the page back a few. She had drew a two sided picture, one half a boy, in the middle of a crowd, everyone was dressed warmly, it was snowing. On the other side, a girl was on the beach, still in a crowd. They both looked distressed about the giant amount of people. They were looking straight at each other, but they did not know it, for they were probably on opposite ends of the earth. She flipped through her drawings, some so disturbing I don't want to describe it. Rayna's tear flow increased at these. She then slammed the sketchbook closed, closing her eyes from the thoughts. Her dad, Jax, Rose, the dance, everything.

Making Friends
Nearby, a boy was walking around, seemingly with no direction, simply going step after step, his eyes reflected calm, yet he seemed serious, and even emotionless at times, as if he really had nothing better to do, but wasting his time walking around the grounds, with the same expression stuck in his face.
After a while of him just standing in silence, he finally noticed the girl who was sitting nearby, he did not feel like talking to anyone, but the yard seems like a very lonely and empty place, so he decided to aproach her, and began with a few words.
''Greetings- I'm Aldor- May I ask what you are doing out here, on your own?-''
He did not seem to be trying to be rude, or awkward, but the way he just came over and greeted her seemed very, very strange, yet, he seemed sincere, and kind, as if he actually really cared if she was alright. 'Maybe, starting a conversation was not a good idea, but at least, I tried-' Aldor thought as he waited for an answer. Although, he started feeling anxious, and started to feel the need to chew on his nails once again, but he stopped himself from doing so, and kept waiting.

Making Friends
There he was, looming over her. A boy. At first, she thought it was Jax. But sadly, gladly, it was not. This boy had blonde hair swept to the side, and dark green eyes that sparkled with curiosity. His eyes were also looking her over like she'd done something wrong. but then, he spoke.
"Greetings-I'm Aldor-May I ask what you are doing here, on your own?" e asked me. Had he seen the drawings? Certainly not. As a lump formed in my throat, I pushed it down, and came up with a reasonable answer.
"I was... doodling, I think?" My answer had most likely made him even more curious. Please don't ask to see them, please don't ask to see them! I thought in desperation. I clutched the notebook closer to my chest, protecting it form the prying eyes of people named Aldor. I felt like running away, but I knew that he would be even more curious if I dd that. So, I simply sat there waiting for him to ask to see the drawings, and then I would be in a huge conundrum. Everything didn't seem right. I didn't have Image, and Image didn't have Dream. And the pink elephants, and the silver monkeys. The fairies. All of the made-up creatures, and everything. All my imagination seemed to be left at home, in the forest, on the swing, in Image's arms. I sighed before noticing I did it aloud.

The boy would then realize that he might be disturbing her. And then he spoke, taking a step back.
''I am very sorry miss, I am just a very curious person, I hope I did not bother you with my horrible habits-'' He would smile softly, as he felt all of the confidence he stored to aproach her crumbled down, although, he seemed honest with his words.
''If you do not mind- I would like to start over-'' He would clear his throat as he thought of his words. ''I am Aldor Humbleglow- May I ask, what is your name, miss?-'' He clearly felt sorry, but this was still a pretty awkward sittuation, no apologies could fix how bad his attempt to aproach her was, at least, he is trying to make this a normal talk.
Yet, something about him was off, it was pretty unclear what it was, but something was wrong, you could feel it in how heavy the atmosphere felt around him, what is so strange about this boy? Maybe it was something about his hipnotizing green eyes, maybe he was just very weird, or maybe he is more than an innocent and kind Hufflepuff kid. Whatever it was, maybe you should keep your eyes open.

Making Friends
He stared back at me and noticed I had become disturbed.
"I am very sorry miss, I am just a very curious person, I hope I did not bother you with my horrible habits-" he smiled slightly, trying to keep up his amazing confidence. If I were him, I would have just hurried away, but he seemed to be concerned. I silently thanked him, because I was feeling so lonely lately. Maybe he had too. He was a Hufflepuff, so I was assuming he was kind and friendly. So, as he began to speak agin, I listened more intently to what he had to say.
"if you do not mind-I would like to start over." he cleared his throat politely.
"I am Aldor Humbleglow- May I ask, what is your name, miss?" I was pleased at his reaction, his politeness. I smiled at him.
"You really don't need to call me miss. I am not royalty. My name is Rayna. It is nice to meet you, Aldor." I held my hand out. Still smiling, I was trying to be friendly to him. Maybe he would be my first real friend, rather than people who felt forced to be my friend. So, I sat there, Looking at his eyes, I guess I liked being friendly. It was much more fun than being rude or disrespectful that is for sure. Aldor Humbleglow. A very becoming name. It makes you want to jump up and hug him.

I am very sorry, I am quite used to using that word, so uh, Rayna?- That is a very nice name. The boy gave her a kind smile, as he thought of something to say.
He would take her hand and shake it gently, he seemed nervous, but he still did his best to keep this conversation.
''So, Mi- Rayna, I hope you do not mind that I ask, from what house you are from?- Not that it really matters, I am not the kind of student who judges others because of their house-'' Aldor would flinch slightly, as he almost called he miss again, that shows that he is actually listening to her.
The boy waited for an answer, as he slowly letted go off her hand. ''If you were wondering, I am a Hufflepuff, I mean- that is pretty obvious right?- the clothing, and the stereotypical way of acting-'' He would chuckle quietly at this comment, he does not show it, but deep inside, he is actually pretty amazed by the fact that he did not faint while shaking her hand.
''So, are you waiting for someone? Or did I just interrupt you while you were trying to be on your own?-'' Aldor seemed concerned, as he quietly waited for an answer.
