Digging up Treasures
Date: September 11th
Time: Just before breakfast; 7:00
The dirt near the great lake was best for digging, and that was what Paisley had been doing for the last half an hour.
That morning she had woken up and gone for a walk. It was a normal-everyday stroll, and she decided she wanted to walk past the Great Lake. There was nothing wrong with this, either, on the contrary, many students seemed to think it was a good idea that sunny morning.
She had been thinking of what it would be like to be a bird, with arms outstretched soaring through the sky and not a care that weighed you down. I wish I could be a bird. Paisley thought, and for a moment she could almost imagine she was.
When she was done daydreaming she thought to go back to the castle to get a late breakfast. She liked eating breakfast late, when you ate too early it lost itself in your stomach before it had a chance to make it's way into your day.
That was when she noticed something strange in the dirt. It was a shiny object of some sort, like a liquid.
"I wonder what that is," she uttered to herself, and used her hands to dig in the dirt. She felt rather like a dog doing this, and although she was sort of like a canine, she didn't like portraying herself in this way.
Oh what the teachers much think! Imagine if they saw me! she thought, but she kept on digging. It seemed to Paisley that what she was digging was long, and she had only uncovered about 5 inches of it when a shadow appeared overhead, and Paisley looked into the eyes of someone she had never met.

Digging up Treasures
It was now Amelia’s second weekend at Hogwarts. She was struggling in nearly all her classes, with the exception of Herbology and Astronomy. She just couldn’t seem to get her wand to produce anything but sparks and flame. Potions was a nightmare of hot fumes, and History of Magic was just dreadfully boring. Her time in the greenhouse was her only reprieve where she did not embarrass herself, since she was used to working with plants, albeit, non magical ones. Astronomy was interesting, too, since at least she got to be outside, and looking at the beautiful stars.
Amelia enjoyed walking the grounds before breakfast. She knew she should be studying, but she could not bare to be stuck inside on a nice day. She was wearing a green T-Shirt, Jeans, and Converse. She tried to get herself pumped up to properly study after breakfast. With some practice, maybe she could finally get her want to work properly.
Amelia walked around the grounds until she spotted a girl that looked the same age as Amelia. She was digging in the ground, and looked like she found something. Amelia was overcome with curiosity, and crouched down beside her. “Hi there, what are you doing?” She said with a wide smile and eyes brimming with curiosity.
