A Small Change Can Go a Long Way
Melissa walked into the library, breathing in the scent of parchment. It reminded her of her house, where she kept her many books. It was around five pm so she decided to do some studying and homework before dinner. The ginger looked around the library for a place to sit but there weren't any free tables. What am I supposed to do? she wondered. I might as well go back to my dorm and do the homework- As she turned around to leave, she noticed an empty table near the entrance. Well I guess it's my lucky day! Mel thought as she walked over.
She took out her books and some parchment from her bag when she sat down at the table. As she was doing her homework, a dark-skinned boy also sat at the table. He was about Melissa's age so she asked herself, Do I know him or something? It was really weird but she just decided to ignore him and continue writing her homework. He didn't bother her or anything and it's not like it would hurt anyone to have someone sit with you. The ginger was just minding her own business when she glanced up at the boy and saw what he was writing.@Remi Yao

Being in the library for an hour or so, with a couple of sheets of work that needed to get done and Remi started to half-ass his work at this point as the thought of food at the Great Hall has still gotten his stomach to groan every so often.
@Melissa CarsonHe thought to himself as his hand doodled a couple of letters onto his paper which was about Imps in Defense against the Dark Arts classes, something like,
'I got a pile of candies in my trunk but I can't even eat food in the library.'He lazily wrote."Purple variants exist...seen as tricksters to the wizarding community and rated as XX..."
Soon, a familiar-looking fair skin girl looked over at him and he looked at her. He gave a rather limp wave with his quill's feather,He said casually before going back onto his work before putting down a solid looking signature of his name on the bottom of school work, fancy line work, and everything."Hey."
Getting the sheet and giving a push away from him, before he looked like he was about to start relaxing before dinner about to start. However, the paper was closer for Melissa to see his work, and how there were a couple of errors.

"Um... Hi," Melissa said. The boy seemed familiar but she just couldn't quite remember his name. Then, she noticed the essay the boy was writing. There was this one sentence that she couldn't get over. 'Imps like their homes in dry or grassy areas where they can find their food' that was not the correct answer at all. I fact, it was the exact opposite of the correct answer. How could anyone get that wrong? she wondered. Then, she decided to tell the boy about it. The ginger just couldn't stand having someone get that simple question wrong. "Uh...you know that that sentence is wrong right?" she said while pointing at it. "Imps don't make their homes in dry or grassy areas-"
While waiting for his response, Mel looked more closely at the essay and found another mistake. Then there was another one! She just decided to read the whole thing to find the mistakes. It's not like she'll copy it anyways. She had already finished hers a while ago. When she finished reading, she found about ten or more mistakes in there. Imps were such simple creatures that it was almost impossible to get information wrong. Well, actually, that was just what it was like for Melissa. Then, she decided to tell the boy about his essay so she said, "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you but there are actually multiple mistakes in your essay."@Remi Yao
