Enzo had just recently arrived in England for the first time in a long while. He had been once or twice before but he had been quite small so he didn’t really remember it. His mother had decided to let him tag along on a little excursion to Diagon Alley so she could purchase some items. On the way to the shop she needed to go to they passed by a quidditch supplies store that had gorgeous looking brooms in the window sill. Enzo didn’t particularly like quidditch since he found it pretty boring, but was extremely fond of broom racing and really wanted one of the fancy brooms for himself.
He stopped and pleaded with his mother to let him stay and admire the brooms while she went to the other store. At first she refused but he persisted so much that she finally gave in and agreed. He raced over to the store as fast as he could and peered inside looking at all the shoppers and objects in it for a couple moments before walking in front of the shop’s window and gazing at the brooms longingly. He wanted one desperately but his parents didn’t want to get him one because they didn’t like the fact that he was engaging in broom racing, and were constantly trying to talk him out of it, but to no avail. He didn’t pay any mind to them and decided that if they wouldn’t let him get one he would save for one by himself in secret. Obviously it was difficult to save enough without them finding out, so it was taking a very long time but he was determined.
He unintentionally sighed out loud then reached out and pressed his hand against the window glass imagining what it would be like to actually own one of those brooms.

Dialogue: French | English
Interacting with: @Akari Kato (As Enzo Delcroix)
"So this is Diagon Alley," Jacqueline said to herself as she made her way through the nearly empty streets. She was alone, for once, not surrounded by a crowd of friends. Jac wanted to explore London more, even though she had visited it a few times already, and it was a little hard to explore when you had a bunch of people following you around. The girl smiled to herself. It was nice to have many friends though. . .
Wandering around the area, Jac noted that there wasn't very many people around, just a few adults hurrying here and there and the occasional student. Still, she got many admiring glances from those people, which she returned with a dazzling smile that made some look away and others blush. Getting bored of just wandering with no real destination, Jac looked into a few of the shops. Ollivanders, for one, was a shop that she was interested in, seeing that so many witches and wizards knew the wandmaker's name. The girl slipped inside, barely making any noise on her light feet. After a few minutes, she slipped back out, having found nothing very interesting in there besides boxes upon boxes of wands that had been stored away, waiting for the right wizard to come in and claim them. Or for the wand to claim the wizard, Jac thought to herself with a smile.
Right after Ollivanders she visited Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, just to see if there was anything she liked there. Finding plenty, but deciding not to buy anything, she left that shop and continued walking along Diagon Alley in search of one particular place the girl knew was there. . . Ah, yes. There it was, Quality Quidditch Supplies. Jacqueline's smile grew wider as she hurried over to peer through the windows at all the fancy brooms and other supplies that were displayed there. The girl's eyes widened in pleasure as she surveyed every inch of a Firebolt. Oh, how badly she wanted it. . .
Hearing a loud sigh from beside her, Jac turned to see a golden haired boy place his hand up against the window in front of him, looking longingly at the brooms in front of him. Jac couldn't help but laugh, even though she knew her face must look quite similar. "Hello," she said to the boy with a bright, charming smile.

Enzo's eyes stayed glued to the window, or more like the brooms behind the windowpane as he noticed through the corner of his eye a girl approach the shop as well and stand next to him while also staring at the marvellous brooms. He didn't even glance at the figure across from him as he slowly dropped his hand back down to the side of his body. Then to his surprise, the girl had suddenly had spoken up to him and said hello. He tilted his head slightly in her direction but stayed quiet for a few more seconds but then finally replied. "Allo". He said it while sort of butchering its pronunciation by not enunciating the h in the word. Although Enzo had studied English for quite some time and was not bad at it at all, it did take effort for him to speak without a pretty strong French accent, and it was effort that he didn't feel like putting in at the moment.
Now that the girl had spoken to him was he supposed to carry on with a conversation? He wasn't sure. Perhaps she would think that it is rude of him not to say anything more, but he didn't really like mingling and meeting new people very much, so he'd always try and figure out ways to avoid doing so, including making foolish excuses to himself about why it didn't matter if she did think that he was rude since this was a random crossing of paths, who knows if they'd even ever see each other again.
He did end up staying without saying anything which possibly just created an awkward silence so he just turned back to look at the firebolt, that by the look on her face the girl had fancied also and then slid his hands into his pockets while murmuring to himself in french
"What I wouldn't give for that broom"
