As Atlas tried to soothe Annie, her focus was pulled to the other side of the room as she watched one of the Durmstrang mutts have the audacity to crawl up from their bed and harass Quinn. What he needed more than anything was peace and quiet but it looked like Durmstrangs were going to be sore losers typical...

Quickly rising to her feet, Atlas heard Serena yelling at the boy as Willow quickly rushed in and immediately tackled him to the floor. Her eyes wide in shock she couldn't help but let a glorious smile escape her lips as her fantastic keeper partner was teaching them a lesson. She wondered if she should pull her off, but the devious side of Atlas couldn't bring herself to move from her observation.

Luckily she heard Aaron come in shortly after and quickly run over to Quinn's bedside as he pulled Willow off of the weak Durmstrang boy, Atlas' smile morphing into a scrunched nose and puffed out cheeks as she wanted Willow to do a lot more damage to him than she was allowed. They were in a Hospital Wing after all so he could handle a larger beating.

Narrowing her eyes, Atlas' attention was pulled again as she looked over to another beat-up Durmstrang member's bed as they haphazardly through things in the direction of her captain. Luckily he was too disheveled and restricted by casts to actually meet his target but that didn't stop Atlas from feeling her heart picking up pace in her chest.

Even STILL they were playing dirty! When would they relent?!

Walking over to the sniveling culprit's bed, Atlas pulled out her wand from her boot as she pointed it at the battered ivory haired boy.

"Oi! Enough! Based on that goblin face o' yours, I know ya might not know how ta spell your own name. But throw one more thing an I'll make sure ya can't say it either!"
She threatened fire blazing in her eyes as the tip of her wand was just slightly out of reach from the boy.

"You mess with one of us, you get all of us and we aren't all injured. Roll over and sit this fight out or you will regret any action you take after." She continued knowing they probably couldn't understand English or her thick Scottish accent that came out when she was fuming but her body language and pointed wand outta have cleared up the language barrier and if it didn't she had ways of making her point more clear.

It was a rather rude awakening, plus he was more or less nursing a broken arm. He had fallen on it weird and was not adverse to sitting out for the rest of the time. But there felt a need for him to wake up once the voices began to filter his ears. The beater's green eyes opened at the sound of yelling, what was going on there? The badger sharply inhaled as he could tell that the conversation was taking a turn for the worst, this wouldn't end well. Reid played for Hogwarts, he didn't just play for their house, he liked to think that they won it for the school and thus didn't want to tarnish that spirit.

Reid picked up his bat and brought himself about to the screaming group; he grimaced upon seeing both sides. He resisted raising Mjolnir and striking the next person on the Durmstrang team, seeing as there was already some fighting going on. But he thought about what his uncle Atius would think about him. He didn't want to tarnish his name in the eyes of the Fosgates, he needed to intervene. "That's enough from the lot of you! The game is over, everyone back off from one another."

Reid wasn't happy seeing Durmstrang fight his team, but neither was he happy to see the badgers piledrive two players. They played for their school, Reid was privileged enough to be on that huge stadium in the first place. He didn't want to squander that in front of Lear and Caradoc's eyes once they hear that they ended up beating on the younger members of the opposing team. On top of that, there was clearly going to be a language barrier and it wasn't going to end well.

He strolled up and placed himself between the main two parties still at it, which was Atlas when she pointed her wand. Reid put himself in the way of Atlas' wand. He was also acting as a buffer in case the Durmstrang players tried anything, seeing as they probably saw Atlas draw it.

"Stop fighting. We're at a hospital, don't any of you get that? The bloody hell are you lot thinking?" He meant it for his own team as well, thoroughly annoyed by the antics already displayed. Reid would have happily taken on a fight, he's done it many times at Hogwarts, Erin being his last nemesis. But they won and he found it negligent to their win to have this break out, feeding it wasn't something he was planning to do. On top of that, he knew where he was now, he was at St. Mungos. Just a few floors above this floor was where his mother was and it pained him to think about it.

Right after Yefim spoke his mind, the peanut gallery started coming out of the woodwork like little vermin to squeak about nothing. The worst offender of all, the mouse-sized Seeker, peeped some nonsense further, barely understandable besides a few words here and there. Unable to contain his derision, Yefim groaned loudly and pointed a finger at her, speaking in a stern, low voice.

[”You’re next.”] She wouldn’t need to speak Russian to understand what he was saying.

He turned back to his current quarry however, as he babbled off the most unintelligible English he had ever heard. He heard the word ‘cheating’ for sure, perhaps the lout was trying to actually apologize for being on the team, and was retiring on the spot, but it would all be lost on Yefim no matter what. His face didn’t look sad enough, it needed to be sadder.

Before Yefim could list off some more complaints, he got blindsided by a flash of yellow as he was tackled to the ground by another rat. Seconds after the impact, he recognized the Keeper who couldn’t do anything. She was probably feeling useless and compensating for it by acting tough. It was practically the same thing Yefim was doing, but he wasn’t ever going to admit that to himself.

Before it could turn into a no-hold-barred wrestling match, the scruffy badger was pulled off him by one of their own ilk. Good news for him, since he had bigger fish to fry. Huge, way-too-big fish that didn’t belong in the same pond. He heard the call of his teammate Niffler, urging him on and sounding a rallying cry. That was the Durmstrang spirit. Never give up, even when the referee says you lost. It wasn’t true. They hadn’t lost yet. Yefim’s new win condition was to make sure this hulking disaster knew that if he and the Seeker were normal, then their team would have lost. Wasn't it obvious?

Yefim got back to his feet, ignoring whatever the useless Keeper was saying. The giant then, for some reason, started shrieking something in a high-pitched voice. Still unintelligible. ‘Cheating’, ‘monster’, ‘Queenie’? It hardly mattered what he said, Yefim didn’t hear ‘sorry’, ‘you’re right’, or ‘I quit Quidditch’. Not like he needed much of an excuse for what he was about to do, with the escalation having already happened thanks to being tackled, Yefim was ready to go. Pumped, even. Even if he was quitting Quidditch after this, it was only all the more reason to get revenge for Niffler and Greta. (We’ll ignore the part where Greta was blatched by their own team).

With that, and the freedom granted by no one daring to hold him back, Yefim lept on the double bed where the beast was already cowering. Payment was owed! Payment in blood!

”FREAK!” Another great word Yefim knew. He did watch some Hollywood movies with subtitles, he learned all the best phrases from there. ”BEG FOR MERCY!”

With those stellar examples of the English language, Yefim started kicking Quinn. He didn’t hold back, why would he?

Atlas could feel her face heating up as heavy sighs of air escaped through her nose. Her eyes slightly shifted from one of Valentin's eyes to the other as she deliberated the spell she would perform but as she thought about it more she knew her wand would be what got her in the most trouble. Her focus pulled to Reid as he stood between her and Valentin as he scolded their fighting.

Taken aback, intellectually she understood where Reid was coming from but emotionally she couldn't understand why he wasn't backing them up. Hufflepuffs were relentlessly loyal and it was infuriating to watch her battered team be attacked both verbally and physically by the opposing team. "Everythin' was calm before that sore loser pleb decided to attack Quinn while he was in bed, recoverin'! And then this crippled fool decided tha wasn' enough and he start'd chucking things at 'im! I will not stand by and let them take advantage of me family! They have done enough!" Atlas sternly replied to Reid. She meant no disrespect to her teammate and she prayed her words would not have a negative effect on him. "You have me word I won't cast a single charm on him so long as he don't try anything else but one more move, and not even you, Reid, will be able to stop me."

With that Atlas held her stern look at Reid for a moment before softening it to an unspoken plea.

Lowering her wand to her side to appease Reid, Atlas kept the end still pointing to Valentin. If any of the nurses or Heads of Houses were to make their way into the Hospital Wing her wand could quickly slip into her boot with them being none the wiser.

Hearing more yelling from the rat several beds down, Atlas turned her head slightly so that she could still keep an eye on Valentin as she watched Yefim jump on Quinn's bed as he aggressively began to kick him. On instinct, her right foot stepped forward but seeing as Quinn was far stronger than the little rat and Willow her aggressive Keeper partner was over there she knew he would regret that move in moments. Turning back to Reid, Atlas gestured to the obvious instigation from Durmstrang as she let out a grumble.

Pulling her focus back to the bandaged Durmstang, Atlas narrowed her eyes once more, "Try somethin' I dare ya."

We had lost. That, in and of itself, was unacceptable. On one hand, it was a cause of shame, the name of Durmstrang tarnished. On the other hand, it was growth, experience, and practice ffor next time. I had hardly ever gotten a chance to block or protect my rings, since Hanzo and I had chosen to favor direct and outward attack. As such, I was here counting the bodies, instead of the successful goals.

The seeker and her ally; one. Then the pair of beaters; a total of three. Then, at last, the seeker herself and her guardian; grand total of five. Five bodies, five injured people at my hands and the victims of my brute strength. Those were the individuals that I was coming to visit now: them and my own teammates. They deserved good sportsmanship, and above all... I wanted to speak to the giant.

So imagine my horror when I walked into the room to find Yefim, loyal compatriot, yet as hot-blooded as any of us, attacking the redheaded giant, wailing away at him with all his strength. My eyes blazing with blue fire, I immediately leapt into action, attempting to headlock him. This kind of violence is what shames the Durmstrang school, rivalries aside! "YEFIM RUMYANTSEV! STAND DOWN! I WILL NOT HESITATE TO FLOOR YOU!" I do not yell often, but when I do, I roar, and even with my cherubic face and blushing cheeks, I look a sight to behold.

Yefim's Evasion- 1d20 (18) + 5 = 23 (Success)
Yefim Successfully Dodges (the little crap)
My powerful arm reaches out, and just as I am about to loop my grip about him, Yefim ducks away just in time. For the better, perhaps, for if I had snagged him, he surely would have been choked to the point of unconsciousness. This was why I had wanted to speak to the giant. I do not know how to control my own strength. This makes my life dangerous to others... I could hurt the people I'm closest to, the people I love.

Having swung and missed my haymaker, I huff back, taking myself into account and attempting to see things clearly. There was a better way to deal with this than through violence. Now attempting to speak to Durmstrang's prideful nature, I berate my team. "This is how you represent our school?! Is this discipline or immaturity?!"

It seemed that another Hufflepuff already had a similar thought in mind, daring my school to keep on raising the tension. I had no intention of taking the bait, of course, and in fact, I was siding with her, nodding quietly and still taking a defensive posture. "I came here to congratulate the team and I am instead met with sheer lack of sportsmanship." At this point, I am too miffed to even consider speaking to Quinn or Serena. My new goal now is to quell this mutiny in my team. Instead, I apologize to Hufflepuff team outright. "I'm terribly sorry for my fellows' conduct. You don't deserve this flack."

Why did no one ever take hint or try to think things through. Quinn was barely keeping it together as it currently were. He laid back in pain and embarrassment having an internal argument with Harlin who was laughing at Quinn's own reaction but oddly enough he was being overly helpful. Not as manipulative or forceful as he was under normal circustances. This deeply unsettled him, but before he could do anymore thinking he felt someone jump on him. "W-Wha..."

Seconds later dull pain shot through his body as he got attacked and kicked continuously. This boy was attempting to wail on him and had it been any other person they would have more then felt it. But not Quinn he felt the hard kicks but they didn't do as much damage as they should have. Of course others attempted to stop this raging brat but things were already set in motion.

"Oh Queenie a-"

"STOP..." Was the only word that escaped his lips as everything ame tumbling down. His rage exploded out and Quinn for a few seconds completely blanked out in blinding red rage as he grabbed Yefim's leg quicker then his size suggested and squeezed as hard as he possibly could. One didn't need to listen close to hear the bones beginning to crack under the pressure. Moments later a horrific snap could be heard as Quinn broke Yefim's leg seemingly like it was nothing and let go. His face contorted into a nasty rage filled sneer at the boy whose leg he just brutally broke.

Just as quickly he came back to his face going back to normal and eye's going wide with horror as he looked at his hand in shock and terror. "W-What did ah j-just do?" He asked to no one in particular. His voice cracking as tears started to appear on his eyes and he began to mentally shutdown clearly distraught the concussion or headaches not helping

As the altercation between Atlas and Reid provided a convenient distraction Valentin had a revelation while looking for his route of escape. His legs were actually completely numb even while his top half was undergoing its painful civil war. He would make use of this. Rolling onto his side and then stomach Valentin threw his legs off the bed with enough force that he wouldn’t even need to use his arms to help him get up. For a moment it even worked as he staggered, stiff-legged, trying to stay upright. However, without being able to feel anything he misjudged the convex surfaces at the bottom of his booted feet. Staggering forward the boy lost control, spinning his arms uselessly through the air until crashing onto his chest in the walkway next to the metal stand he had thrown. With a terrible shriek, pain jolted him like a lightning bolt. Through the agony Valentin failed to see the utility of the fallen stand as a potential weapon: he only saw red. Taking deep breaths the boy forced himself to regain control of his body.

Valentin knew he was going to pay for his brutal fall with extra recovery time when this was all through. Yet, his numb legs were still there and they found purchase against the corner of another bed. The boy pushed off of the edge as if in a swimming pool and shot himself across the smooth, polished hospital floor towards the bed where Quinn and Yefim were giving each other a beating. Then with a terrible crack Valentin heard Yefim’s leg snap like a twig. Heart suddenly frozen in place, Valentin’s eyes grew huge with shock. Then, it was not just Yefim’s leg that snapped. The white-haired boy felt rage pouring through his every muscle fiber and with a screeching roar that blurred out the world, Valentin clambered to his feet to throw himself at Quinn with a headbutt to the ribs.
Valentin attempts a headbutt: [d20 : 2] + 10 In the end, the result was: 12
Quinn evasion: [d20 : 13] + 2 In the end, the result was: 15
Despite his fervor, Valentin’s broken body would simply not respond to his command and his head barely avoided a cataclysmic collision with the sharp corner of the bedpost. So much for the seeker’s famed accuracy. Slipping down onto the floor, the white niffler's sad eyes looked up at whatever was left of Yefim.

"You have me word I won't cast a single charm on him so long as he don't try anything else but one more move, and not even you, Reid, will be able to stop me."

To him, the words didn't feel like something that would come from his own house. The beater didn't say anything though, he wasn't someone who liked to lecture people and something was simmering underneath. Regardless, this was getting out of hand, he saw the look on Atlas' face and he of course trusted that she wouldn't knock Yefim across the room with magic. However, he turned around at what she gestured at to see the young boy beat on Quinn.

The student felt his jaw clench as he was making a beeline for the Dursmstrang student in the hopes of intervening. Mjolnir was dropped to the side with a loud, he only had one good arm and he wasn't going to swing at the young lad. Reid was far too tough skinned to register the kicks and punches as any more than that. He's meddled with muggles who were far worse than Yefim in the schoolyard - Erin Ryan even, it was child's play. Though he could tell the frustration on his team and he wasn't going to add to it.

Yet there was some relief to see someone try and stop Yefim and actually defuse the situation, that was until Quinn did something he didn't think he'd do. It wasn't the bone breaking that got to him, it was how long Quinn took to break the bone. A quick fracture was mercy, but a prolonged and conscious effort to break it was worse, it was deliberate harm that was more than enough in his eyes to warrant a flash of anger. "Quinn —" The boy was clearly younger than them, much younger, and much smaller than the giant.

He ran and hopped over the fallen Valentin, uncaring for his own antics as he came over to the boy. He looked over at the boy who missed Yefim earlier and looked him in the eye. "Move him from our team, to your side, let's go. I don't want anything else to happen." The fight was over, he saw it fit to be over. His back was to him team as he was worried someone else would try to jump the broken legged boy, he wouldn't be surprised after the malice he saw. But it was also to stop any more players from rushing the giant. Quinn had an army at his side, and while Reid was loyal to his house, he wasn't blinded by it and was far too headstrong in his own morals to side with anyone.

The fourth year had grown up a little from his naive days, mentally whipped into shape by his new foster family who drilled the value of being his own person in his mind. Reid was objective, his only true intentions in the first place was to defuse the situation as he always tried to take this route in his years as a prefect. But this upset him to see, but he wasn't going to make this about how he felt it was handled. This was something else. Right now people were hurt and the others were already getting tended to, but someone just got their leg freshly snapped and it was only a matter of time before someone of higher authority walked in.

Willow should've stayed on top of Yefim. She should've fought harder against Aaron, even though he was her co-captain. She should've kept them apart. A new voice came out from Quinn, referencing himself as Queenie? She would have more questions about that later. He seemed just as surprised about the voice as he was. But then she watched as the Durmstrang boy jumped onto the bed and like a child start kicking him. She drew her wand out of her hair, "Why don't you beg for mercy you immature brat." She pointed her wand at him just as Quinn took the idiot boy's leg in his hand, and slowly, painfully... "Flipendo!" A sickening crack rang through the hospital they were in, and Willow flinched.

While her spell went off successfully, her wand jerked up towards the ceiling as she recoiled from watching her Captain, the person that she trusted implicity, just break someone's body with his hands. She took a step back away from him, in complete shock of what she had just witnessed. Her shoulder bumped into Aaron and her hand reached out for some kind of comfort and found his. She looked over at him, eyes wide with terror. No words, just making sure that she wasn't the only one who saw what just happened.

She never knew Quinn to hurt someone off of the Quidditch field, and once again he seemed shocked at what he did. What was happening. People started to move Yefim away, but she couldn't process anything that had just happened. How a body could just break like that. Her feet were rooted to the hospital floor, unmoving. Terrified.

They had won.

May's ears ringing, her hair all unorganized, a feeling of excitation running through her body as she walked into Saint Mungo's to see the tea, that had won fair and square. Anything that Durmstrang would say wouldn't be true, for May could only hear the "And Towers has caugh the snitch! Hufflepuff wins!"

She stumbled into the room, and her gaze immediately fell into someone, his leg apparently very bad looking, her captain, apparently terrorized about something he had done. But May had seen too much. "What the-"

She looked at the Durmstrang players leg, and with May's well knowing eye, she saw that it was broken. Great. More pain.

May felt like Willow, rooted to the spot, looking at the Durmstrang player's dangling leg. She had heard the snap. She had heard everything.

May schooled her head. No. she knew it couldn't be. Hufflepuff had won, but if Durmstrang had provoked the sweet half-giant and Quiddich captain Quinn Healy, something was amiss. Now, they would blame them, and it wouldn't possibly be...well...fair.

Suddenly able to move, she went to Willow's side. Thought May was unable to speak, she took Willow's hand, attempting to give her what she didn't have. Strenght to see this. All of this.
