Unread Letter PV Finished

"No, I-I promised that we would go to my house for Christmas. I-I am not breaking that promise." She had significantly calmed down at this point, but still stuttered over a few words. Even if she ignored her father over all of Christmas, she was going to go home. She wasn't going to leave her brothers alone with their father and she had promised that they would go to her house anyway.

"You-you can still come over this summer as well. I-I promised that I would-would teach you how to ride a horse and I am n-not going to break that promise either." She had a long list of promises she had made to the boy and she didn't plan on breaking any of them, no matter how mad she was with her father. She hoped that maybe he would rethink everything in the end, but that would probably be a while and she would have to deal with it until then.

"If I were strong and brave I-I would be in Gryffin-Gryffindor not Hufflepuff," she stuttered out with a bit of a smile on her face. "I believe my br-brothers would also like to help crash the wedding if they could." She held the pouch of letters in her hand with a sad smile. She hadn't meant to push her brothers away, but she didn't know what their thoughts on the whole wedding were and that they may have been agreeing with it. Nervously she looked up at Henry. "Do-do you think they are mad at me for ignoring them?" she questioned quietly as she looked at the stack of letters.

Henry squeezed her hands in a comforting way as he listened to her before saying " if you need some time or can't do it then you can break them in fact there not promises so you can break them and also I promise to help you through this even if that means a few plans are ruined and that's not a promise that I will ever break," Henry gave her a reassuring smile as he continued to squeeze her hands and listen to her and when she finished, Henry piped in with a comforting voice " then itself settled that during the wedding yours brother's, you, me, and my sister will cash this wedding and let them hear our voices."

Henry wasn't worried about being invited since their father's were so similar that he was sure the two of them would hit it off and become friends which would get Henry and his siblings a invite to the wedding if his father was invited by hers. Henry then heard her speak again and smiled as he spoke " I'm sure their not angry just worried about you, sibling relationships are complicated and messy but in the end you have each others back till the end sort of like best friends," Henry then smiled again as he spoke " your house doesn't define you and from what I seen your a brave, strong, kind, and beautiful person Logan who can get through anything and I'm pretty sure my word counts for something since I'm your best friend."

Henry smiled at her words and when she finished, he spoke " yeah my father won't be too happy either. Maybe we can get grounded together then?" Henry had a feeling that if his father knew what he was planning then the boy would already be grounded and get constantly reminded about how perfect his older brother was and how Henry was living up to him. Henry then heard her speak about houses and couldn't help but laugh a little as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and held her in arm as he spoke " now were comparing me aren't we? Well I'm definitely no slytherin then since the others like to refer to me as a traitor," Henry laughed a bit at his joke but it was true since many Slytherin's referred to him as a traitor to their house since he was with hufflepuff's and Ravenclaw's a lot more.

Henry squeezed her shoulders a bit as he listened to her and then decided to speak " if any of them are traps then their probably just doing it to cheer you up but if it makes you feel better then I'll them up so if they are a trap then they affect me rather then you," Henry gave her a smile as he continued to squeeze her shoulders with his hand and eventually looked out at the lake.

"Oh yes, because the two who caused the problems in the first place should be grounded together." Logan sarcastically said before giggling at the end. "My father learned that lesson the hard way, he grounded my brothers together and they ended up changing his shampoo so his hair was green for weeks."

She remembered that day rather well as they had been grounded for having dyed her hair purple. He regretted the decision as soon as he had seen his hair the next morning and wasn't able to get it out before work. Remembering how often the letters were traps made a small smile form on her face.

"Yes, I would like to see you covered in glitter from head to toe because you opened one of my letters." Just the thought of the boy being covered in glitter brought her mood up again. Even though her face was still tear stained, she was in a much better mood then she had been earlier. Not better enough to go back into the school and face everyone, but she was feeling better enough to have an actual conversation with someone.

Realizing that her cat was no longer with them, she looked up into the trees behind them to see him sitting on a branch staring at them. "Sorry Sherlock," she called up to the cat, only getting a hiss in response.

Hearing Logan speak made him laugh a bit as he waited for her to finish before speaking again " at least they didn't decided to do it to you again and if we can always send owls to each while being grounded although we won't be able to discuss anything to seriously or jockeying since my father will most likely read over any letter I send," Henry shook his head at the thought of his father reading his letters to Logan which was something the man has done when Arthur got grounded and still sent letters out to his own friends. Hearing Logan laugh as she spoke made Henry smile because he was just happy that she was feeling better and knew that he would always be there for her as he spoke " it will be a good laugh and plus we can send a owl back or two with a prank wating for them?"

Henry laughed a bit as he followed Logan to the tree where Sherlock was hiding and listened to Logan which gave Henry a idea as he spoke " the view is probably nice up there, want to see for ourselves Robin?" Henry had one hand on the tree as he jumped up the first branch that was just less than a foot off the ground and held his hand out in a dramatic way as to say after you Logan.

As Logan grabbed Henry's hand and pulled herself up on the branch he couldn't help but smile as she spoke and before he knew it, she was climbing the tree. Henry heard her called out that she supposedly climb her house to sneak out and Henry couldn't help but smile, he was really glad to see her having fun and while he also couldn't wait to have fun with her something that he rarely did. Henry placed his hands on some small, broken branches and pulled himself up as he kicked his legs just enough to pull himself on the branch above where Logan was as he spoke to her " And I can see your very good up here," Henry then laughed in a joking manner " but I'm a natural up here as this is how I spent my childhood at godric hollow."

Henry then looked up and saw Sherlock was still a ways away so Henry quickly spoke while smiling " Race ya Robin," Henry then jumped up and nearly fell off before regaining his balance and started to pull himself up and climb the tree in a monkey like way while occasionally looking over to wherever Logan was and smiling at her.

Hearing Logan say that she was for the race, Henry started to simply and easily maneuver his way up the tree as he got closer and closer to Sherlock a smile appeared on his face and for the first time he was happy that he spent so much time climbing trees as a child back at godric hollow. Henry was about to jump to another branch when he heard Logan from below and looked down to see that she almost fell, Henry smiled as he spoke to her " be careful Robin, I would hate for you to get injured," Henry watched her a bit more before continuing to climb the tree.

Henry then heard Logan again but this time she was asking Sherlock why climb so high on the tree which made Henry laugh a bit before saying " he's a mischievous cat, aren't you Sherlock," Henry the thought for a bit before speaking to Logan " to help you out a bit Robin, move sort of like a monkey or spider. Move your left hand with your right foot then opposite, it will be a bit easier trust me," Henry was then on the branch below Sherlock as he was about to jump up to Sherlock, Henry lost his footing and slip as he fall back ward and was trying to reach out to grab a beach or something to avoid falling onto the ground.

Henry eventually grabbed the branch below Logan as he laughed up at her " that was close but your ahead of me now."
