But first , breakfast. Open Closed

Ensley made her way to the great hall. Today was her first day of classes and she wanted to get to her first class early but first breakfast. Upon entering the great hall she passed by other students eating breakfast and chatting about what the day would bring. She sat down at the Ravenclaw table and grabbed a bagel and placed it on her plate. She smiled to herself and began to eat. She had learned last night that the food at Hogwarts was delicious and breakfast wasn't a disappointment. About mid way through breakfast she smiled when she saw her twin brothers walk in. They spotted her and made their way over. Giving her the biggest hug the could muster she told them about her first night and the nerves she was expiring ahead of classes. Tucker and Wyatt smiled at the young girl and ruffled her hair. “En you will be fine. Out of all three of us you are the most ready to take on classes.” Tucker said as he looked down at her. Wyatt nodded his head along to his brother and said “ Tuck is right En, you have the wisdom and cleverness that we didn’t get. You are going to make a great Ravenclaw student and we are proud of you. If you ever need us we are just and owl away.” The young girl smiled up at her brothers. She would never admit it to them but she was grateful for the encouragement. “ Don’t want to enlarge their heads anymore.” she thought to herself.


Soon after a few more hugs and good luck they left her to go sit at their own table and have breakfast. Ensley placed a small amount of eggs on her plate and as she ate she watched professors go around and pass out class schedules. When handed her she smiled and mumbled a small thank you. Dusting off her hands she looked over her schedule. “Not a bad day at all” she thought to herself as she read. Charms and Transfiguration this morning and Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts after lunch. She placed her schedule in her bag and pulled out her copy of Book of Spells and began to read the introduction while she waited for breakfast to end. Nearing the end of breakfast she placed her book in her bag and drank the last of her pumpkin juice.
