BACKSTORY.

Charismatic, energetic, and all around a friendly spirit. It was no surprise for her parents to find out that she'd made it into Hufflepuff, nor was it for Charlotte herself. Had she had the doubt that she'd be sorted into somewhere like Ravenclaw? Perhaps, but she knew Slytherin would not be her sort of crowd. Hufflepuff was possibly one of the most perfect matches for her, and she couldn't seem to complain.

Her parents, Madelyn and Cole Phelps met at a coffee shop in Diagon ally when they were 22 years old. They were close friends till they were about 24, leading to Cole slowly devolving feelings for his female friend. He then finally summoned the courage to ask Madelyn on a date, resulting in a yes. Five years later they got married on October 24th 2008. They then had a baby a few months later and named her Charlotte.

Charlotte had always been a playful child, as getting along with other children had been natural for her. Perhaps her extroverted personality attracted others, or maybe she just liked interacting on her own accord. Regardless, she'd been seen as a lovely girl to all those she met.

Now to the topic of magic, as she'd have to have some background to be accepted into a school like Hogwarts wouldn't she? Well, her first experience came not only quite unexpected to herself, but to her parents as well. Considering she was fairly young, they hadn't thought she'd display magical characteristics until later on in her childhood.

Though despite their prediction, it occurred on a casual Friday afternoon, nothing too peculiar about the day. She'd been in her bedroom after school, her cat Prince chasing the laser pointer her parents had just bought her. As Charlotte began to laugh, the cat flew into the air, causing it to land in her lap as she screamed.

Her parents, despite their surprise, rejoiced and threw somewhat of a magical party for her. Charlotte of course, had no idea as to what had just happened, though she didn't seem to question it. Instead, she chose to enjoy the moment with them and appreciate the peculiarness of it all.

Eventually the big 11th year old birthday had to roll around, resulting in her first trip to Diagon Alley. Cole and Madelyn had refused to take her into she had received her Hogwarts letter to maintain the excitement of it all when she had become of age.
Needless to say, she was perplexed at it all. As being raised in a purely muggle setting, she'd never experienced so much magic in one place! She felt so eternally grateful that she'd been given the chance to attend such a marvelous sort of school.
