Field Day Finale | Tug of War
Jay Victoria felt silly for participating in such activity. Tug of War? It was a muggle game for children and here it was, at Hogwarts. Today Jay had no other plans so they thought to might as well play. The whole day they had been looking at the other students playing the different activities, they had the choice to join yet they didnt. Some activities looked fun though. Oh well. Here they were, and they were going to make sure their side won, besides, they knew martial arts so upper body strength would be an important role into winning this game.Open to all interactions
They then walked over to their side and looked at the people around them, there were some recognizable professors and students. Jay wasnt friends with any of them, nor had they ever said one word to them ever. Maybe this was their chance to make new friends? No thank you they thought, then turning their head down to look at the thick rope. Jay didnt want to approach anyone, instead they were going to keep quiet unless someone went up to them.
They begun to smile as they grabbed the rope, the small breeze tangling their blue hair and making the trees swoosh. It was the perfect day for victory,

Nell glanced around at the students and professors. She had never played Tug of War, but it seemed pretty self-explanatory, and maybe even a bit fun. For once, Nell was excited for something. The girl made her way over to the student's side of the rope and grasped it with her slender hands. Nell had never really done much physical activity, so she was sure she slip and fall the first time the professors tugged. It was at this time Nell started rethinking her participation in this activity. Was she going to the completely embarrass herself? Probably. She just had a feeling that it wasn't going to go well for herself. With much doubt, Nell placed her feet in a way that would hopefully stop her from falling, or at least give her time to steady herself. Oh no, this was not going to go well. It was all Nell kept telling herself because she just knew it wasn't. then things started to turn around. The students outnumbered the professors and a good few of the students were stronger. Maybe it wasn't going to be so bad for Nell after. Maybe things would be absolutely fine. At least she hoped so.

It had been a full day of activity so far as the main event of the evening came into play, a battle of strength between the teachers and students in a sure to be classic tug of war event. Percy did have some strength about him, but it was obvious he couldn't do it all by his own. He was hoping his fellow students would help him pull some of the weight, even if some of the teachers were astronomically big compared to them. A win over over the teachers would give him and the rest of his classmates some bragging rights to use against them for years to come. However, if they lost it was surely going to be worse hearing the teachers constantly reminding them of their victory.
Percy made his way over to the field event and noticed a few students and teachers had already formed up, excited for the test of strength ahead. He slowly rolled up his sleeves and walked up behind Professor Kibitzer, who seemed to be claiming their inevitable success. His eyes rolled as he walked walked beside her, looking up to her with a cheeky grin on his face "Not if your back gives out first professor" the slytherin chuckled before quickly making his way over to his fellow students. Amongst them, there seemed to be enough students to easily beat the teachers, but it was still unclear as to who the teachers were going to bring for now. And just like that another teacher did arrive. Professor Maya, who was the teacher of his least favourite subject arrived to show her support for the teachers. She seemed to be younger than the obviously older Professor Kibitzer and would prove to be a fine edition to their team, especially if she was as confident as she was now "We will see about that professor, we will see..."

There were many times in the Slytherin Head of House's life when she questioned why she did certain things. This was, without a doubt, one of those times. Standing in the field, she silently questioned everything that led up to this point. Did they really expect her to take part in a game of tug of war? Lifting her hands, she checked out her beautiful nail polish. It was flawless. An pastel chocolate colour, with some metallic gold accents on them as autumn was fast approaching. They were utterly flawless. Not a single chip in them. This was only possible because she avoided doing this sort of thing! And yet, here she was, signed up and supposedly here to join in.
Sigh. The things she did for those Hufflepuffs! Whilst the students of the house were not those she was directly responsible for, she had grown more attached to them towards the last semester of last year. After the incident in their common room, she had found herself getting to know more of them. And the adventure day that they had set up for her was remarkable. It was likely because of that that she was here today. Seeing familiar names, such as that of Miss Anderson and Miss Procoppio, on the field day trip... how could she really say no to them? They had done a lot more for her.
But tug of war?! Could they not have come up with something... less likely to ruin her nail polish? As she approached the field, she spotted two colleagues there already. A lot more students, of course but perhaps she could just sit by and eat popcorn. That... would be so much more delightful. But at the end of the day, this was just to give them a bit of a laugh and something to enjoy. If Hjørdis was here to win, she would certainly be loading up on some strengthening solutions right about now.
Her hair plaited back, a pair of jeans and trainers on, she made her way over to the group. If anyone looked at her, she would greet them with a polite nod of her head. However, she did not rush up to anyone, as she did not want to interrupt. It was kind of interesting to see how some of her Slytherins seemed to be enjoying themselves by teasing the professors. Oh how they never change.

Field Day Finale | Tug of War
Open to interactionsIt was quite an eventful day for Melissa. Although she had only participated in one event, she still hung around and watched the other events. It was almost the end of the day now so she got ready for the last event. It was a game of tug of war. Students versus professors version. Mel quickly moved over to the students' side and grabbed the rope. As she waited for the game to start, she looked around. There were a few professors and students she recognized but the others were complete strangers to her.
The professors were definitely outnumbered by the students but they were also much stronger than a lot of students because they were adults. We still might still win though because there are a few strong students- the ginger thought. Honestly, she was just worried that she would fall the moment the professors pulled and made fun of herself. That's why she hoped that the stronger students could counter that strength and pull the teachers instead. Maybe this will all go well though and everything will be perfectly fine, Melissa thought, forcing herself to believe that it was the absolute truth. She was just really nervous being there and who knew what might happen?Stats: Sta: 5 /Evas: 6 /Str: 6 /Wis: 6 /ArcP: 5 /Acc: 7

Field Day Finale | Tug of War
Interacting with: @Hjørdis Jensen
It didn't take long for the not at all mighty Callie Jensen to grow distracted, namely by the sudden appearance of the very cousin she was considering mocking. Callie was nowhere near as put together in comparison to Nora but then again very few twelve year olds were. Especially Callie, who was wearing a pair of jeans which were worn at the knee, a tartan shirt with a chocolate stain on the collar and a black shirt emblazoned with pikachu on the front. Her hair might have been even worse as it was rather lazily pulled back into a bun with the occasional stray hair flying around as she moved. Not that Callie seemed to mind though, she was more concerned with running over to Nora. It was her birthday after all, she simply had to be annoyed with a hug at least once! Maybe a hug would offset the pain of getting gifted a walking stick.
Sadly Callie was once again thwarted by her lace which quickly came loose and tripped her up, sending her barrelling towards Hjørdis. Thankfully Callie only managed to stumble and catch herself before he ended up landing face first in the dirt. "Aha! Saved again!" Callie exclaimed with a wide toothy grin and placed her hands on her hips triumphantly. "Afternoon, Nora! Or should I say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" She greeted all while extending her arms outwards dramatically. "Does this mean you're like 80 million years old now? Ooh, or maybe 90 gazillion years old?" She teased whilst flopping her loose lace around and eventually tucked them back in. "I'm going to go with 75 million but that doesn't mean we're not gonna beat you! Prepare to have your heart broken by my sheer might..I'm like that Greek guy from that movie...what was his name...HERCULES! Yes, I am totally as strong as Hercules." Just ignore the fact I can barely manage to pick up my own suitcase. Callie's babbling was eventually cut off by the girl slowly slipping another sweet into her mouth. The girl had a sweet tooth that simply refused to be tamed, even when she was making fun of Nora.

Serena was starting to get tired. It had been a long day of playing magical horseshoes and watching the other years’ events. Of course, it was fun as well. She was just starting to reach her limit; that was all. But she couldn’t quit just yet. The finale was about to begin: a tug of war between the students and the professors! The twelve-year-old had never done one of these before, but it seemed explanatory enough. And Serena was feeling that competitive streak flare up again. She just hoped that all of her Quidditch practice had helped tone-up her arms enough to defeat all of the adults. Plus, the Hufflepuff wasn’t alone; several other students were participating in the event. And seeing how there were only three professors, surely them being outnumbered, would work out in the students’ favor.
But Serena was getting ahead of herself. The event hadn’t even started yet! So, she walked over to the students’ side of the rope and picked an unoccupied spot, grabbing the rope in her hands. She adjusted her stance so that she, hopefully, wouldn’t be easily knocked over the second the rope was pulled on. Now, she just had to wait for Willow to start the event.

Field Day Finale | Tug of War
Open to Interactions!Piérre was not strong, nor was he stalwart...
So what was he doing in a game of Tug-of-War? The world may never know. It was just a little too much fun to pass up, so why the heck shouldn't he join, especially if the opportunity was perfect? He had already attended his second year event, Bottleflipping, and had enjoyed it immensely, as he was a kid with a tendency to enjoy the peculiar and often time-killing events.
Hence, Tug-of-War. What an excellent time waster. He would inevitably be yanked back and forth, back and forth, hardly adding a grain of salt's worth of use to his team due to his weak frame... but perhaps his jesting aura and gentle nature would be enough to offer his team a little bit of edge, as little edge as they could have against their much older and more experienced Professor counterparts.
Oh well, it was at least worth a shot! It would be fun in any case!
Dressed in a red vest with a golden undershirt, Piérre was a Gryffindor for the day. After all, he kind of wanted to represent his house on that day for the honor of the students and for himself as a Gryffindor as as the class clown.
Turning to the person behind him as he took up his position on the rope, Piérre smiled cheerfully. "'Fraid I'm not very strong... But I'll tug as hard as I can! You enjoying the Field day?"

Field Day Finale | Tug of War
| open to interactions |Although Cecily was not your typical stand-out-in-a-field-and-play-games-with-your-friends kind of person-- or, as Ami called it, "Field Day"-- this was an event the Ravenclaw could get behind. Was she the strongest student around? Likely not. But, although she had never played Tug of War before in such an official manner, did she take a weird sort of delight in grabbing a rope and tugging a team of professors off their feet? ...Perhaps. Maybe. Okay, yes.
As she approached the rope, she was clearly far from the first person here. The area was already teeming with students and professors alike, trading small talk and tough talk. It was all just talk, though-- the students would be walking out of there with a win, especially if Cecily had any say in it. She was in this to win. Besides, looking at the three professors that had made an appearance so far, they shouldn't have anything to worry about. So far.
She stood on her toes to look over the crowds, searching for a familiar face but coming up short. Maybe she needed more friends. She knew Ami and Amadea had to be here somewhere, but didn't see a head of red hair belonging to either of them. Coming onto the school grounds and he was in a rather plain mood, with all of the happiness and fun that was happening but -
@Melissa Carson
Nah, not buts and butts. He was just being weird. Today is a good day.
Looking at some of the teachers and most of the students in other grades. He didn't see Sylvian, one of the few other years that he knew that wasn't in his year.
Remi shrugged, not sure why he was feeling this way and he shrugged it off."Ah well."
Looking over and seeing Melissa, feeling more placid than usual. He didn't feel really loud and everything, as he had a whole chant in his head,Or something dumb like that, even his thoughts were being kinda blah at the moment."RA-RA, STUDENT POWER!"
Sticking more in the back as he waved at Melissa,He said, off-handedly before looking at what will be happening on."S'up Melissa."
He saw a couple of teachers, with slightly sour,He declared before looking over at everything that was going on,"Nice to see some of the teachers that never got me the blanket to warm myself up when I tried to save someone in the lake."He said, looking more in his element now."Alright, enough of that. Game on!"
