My name is Isadora and I believe your owl delivered your letter to a 'Lauretta' to me by mistake.
Now my own personal opinion is that Hufflepuff is the best house out of them all but I may be biased due to the fact of being a Hufflepuff!
As I've never seen the Gryffindor common room but the Hufflepuff common room is quite cozy and warm as sunshine pours through on nice days. It's almost like a burrow but homier!
I've heard that the Gryffindor rooms are high up and chilly at nights...is this true?
I hope you're not upset with me reading the letter as I had to see who it was from to make sure they knew that their letter didn't get to the right person.

Oh my! I'm so embarrassed. It's wonderful to meet you. I'm not usually one for writing super long letters.
Since we don't know each other at all very well yet, I guess we should fix that. After all, it's pretty much like getting a penpal, isn't it? Do you think this is how pen-pals were created?

As you know I'm Paisley, I'm a Gryffindor, and I'm a first year. I don't usually enjoy writing very often, especially not when it's for school, but sending letters is an excuse. I love sending letters to people, which is strange.

It does get sort of chilly, but I don't usually notice. Most of the time I'm sleeping in the middle of the night. I don't really notice temperature and all that.

I'm not upset at all, don't worry. Thanks for the letter, I'll be sure to send it to the right place this time.

I have not read quidditch through the ages, but I'm not a very good reader. Actually, there's only a few books I've actually found myself liking.

It’s wonderful to “meet” you as well! I completely understand not writing long letters. Especially if you’re sending them so frequently that you barely have anything to put in between letters!!

I don’t know if that’s how penpals started...seems logical.

As you probably already guessed I’m in Hufflepuff. As I’ve heard some Ravenclaws whispers to each other we’re-“The Happy-Go-Lucky’s”
You know I really don’t think they know any Hufflepuffs...

I enjoy receiving letters very much. Almost like a little present to me. Is that just me?
What books do you like to read? I’d love to know!

I must admit my one run-in with a Hufflepuff didn't go so well...it was pretty awkward. They definitely didn't seem very " Happy-Go-Lucky” to me. I've never understood that stereotype, y'know, for all 10 days I've been at Hogwarts.

I like getting letters too. It does seem sorta like a present.

Right now I'm reading the book, 'The Unwanteds' by Lisa Mcmann. It's pretty weird, reading all of these stories muggles come up with, but it's also really interesting. The only types of books I like are fantasy, which I just found out. Any other book and I'm completely snoring.

Have you ever sewed something? I love sewing, and crafting in general. It's really fun. I've sewed a ton of stuff, but surprisingly I don't know how to knit. I've always wanted to learn, though.

(So so sorry! I've been sick this past few days and didn't have any time to write! I back though!)

You are right. We aren't all rainbows and sunshine at times. Our house animal the badger is actually a very tough creature and it has been spotted by muggles in the wild to take on creatures three times it's size. I've even heard of them taking on lions and winning with sheer prowess!

I've never read that series. But I have read a few muggle stories myself. One of my favorite writers is Cassandra Clare. She's a muggle who wrote a series called 'The Mortal Instruments' it's all very cool and takes place in New York City in North America. It's quite good!

On the question of sewing I can hand sew. I've made a few pillows and fixed a few garments (though not very well I might add) in the past. I do enjoy doing cross stitch and knitting and crocheting. I always like doing something with my hands if I can.
If you'd like one day I would love to teach you how to knit! It's quite simple once you get the hand of it and is great for making things for yourself or others! Though I do find I have more yarn then necessary at times...oh well the more I have to work with! Or to teach with!

I've never heard of that series, but it sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out once I'm finished with the Unwanteds.

Ooh! That would be wonderful!

On the note of crafts, I'd like to send this small thing I've been working on since we started our letters.
It's a small bracelet, with the colors of your house. I enjoy arts & crafts, and this just sort of made itself between owls. I love it when my hands seem to work themselves, it's really cool.

I'm so sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! My owl got ill and I didn't know where the owlery was! Then when I did find it they didn't have an owl big enough for my needs!
However luckily this worked out for I had more time to craft what this large owl has brought you.
First off thank you for the gift! I absolutely love it! The detail is so beautiful and it's exquisite! I can't thank you enough my friend!
Attached to this letter is a parcel for you. (I suggest you open it now before you continue on!)
Inside you by this time I hope have found the knitted coin purse. Like your own gift I made it out to be in your house colors as well. I also knitted your initials on both sides in gold yarn. I do hope you enjoy it. I have a few of my own that I've made for I'm always misplacing my galleons, sickles and knuts at some point or another! If any repairs need to be made in the future (though I usually always make sure they can be prevented and that my pieces are sturdy) send it back and I will fix them!
Whenever I get one of your letters dropped off to me I always get excited for I never know what lies within!

Awww! It's ok! Take care of your owl. You don't have a cat, do you? I'm asking for no particular reason at all hehehehe *nervous laughter* Cats are just...creepy. Squiggly. Weird. Icky. Sorry if you like them. Most people do.

I love the gift so much! I'll have to get some coins to keep in it. Better start saving!

What's your favorite part about Hogwarts? It's a strange question, I know, but I'm really wondering! My favorite thing has been getting to meet all these amazing people, and learning herbology. It's really showing me a lot about the world, more than muggle school ever did.
