Alina was quiet for a moment as she looked out to the Lake, the beautiful scenery that it brought and then back to Logan and she smiled. Whether the boy planned it or not, it was quite a rather romantic way to ask and the girl applauded his technique silently.
It was nearing curfew though and the two would have to be making their way back to the castle so they could get to their Common Rooms before. Times like this it was easier when two people were friends from the same house because they could stay up a little later, socializing in the Common Room. For Alina and Aemadall, this wasn't the case.
"So tell me," she said as she took his hand into hers and began to walk, leading him back down the path towards the School, "why am I not going to regret it? Are you going to be the best dressed there that everyone is going to wish they were your date? Are you going to bring me flowers? Can you dance divinely?" and as she asked him the series of questions she turned so she was walking backwards and could watch him the entire time, a smile playing still across her face.
She liked looking at him. He had a sort of maturity to him even if he was younger and she liked his dark hair and blue eyes. It was a contrast from what she was used to seeing.

I held hands with a girl, got my first kiss, even though it was a peck on the cheek, I played quidditch, and I learnt magic. It was rather hard for me to believe that all this happened in two days.
I was happy Alina agreed to go with me to the dance but why? Alina was too amazing. She obviously deserved better. Thoughts like that can confuse a guy so I decided to shove them away.
I held her hand as we went to our common rooms. I hated leaving Alina. If she was a Gryffindor or I was a Hufflepuff, I would have been happy and we could hang out even after curfew.
She asked whether I would be the best dressed at the dance, bring her flowers or dance well. To be honest, I wasn't the romantic type. I said,We finally reached the castle. It hurt to let go of her hand, but I knew I was gonna have to do it eventually. I wanted to follow her to the Hufflepuff dorm and we both knew that was never gonna happen."Maybe, maybe and you might just have wait for the dance to find out"
Alina's eyes seemed so mesmerizing. Her green eyes always seemed to sparkle and hypnotise me. It reminded me of a kaleidoscope. I smiled at her, held her hand tighter and put the other on her shoulder.I took my hands away and winked at her as I walked away. I wasn't really sure if I was walking cuz I seemed to be doing something like a run-skip combination."See you at the dance, Alina"
