Jenna, who was sitting in silence for a while, listened carefully to the conversation between Auri and James. She was uneasy, not knowing what she should agree with in the matter. Eventually she replied to James's address to her.

"I think that we should keep the Snidget a secret, of course, but I also think we should hide it somewhere a little safer than our dorm room... It could get found by one of our dorm mates." Jenna tried to find words that wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings by shooting down their ideas.
"But I have no clue where it would be hidden otherwise..."

She looked down to the Golden Snidget, who had been chirping softly. Jenna gave a half-smile to it and she could have sworn it smiled back.

"Actually, on second thought, maybe we should keep the cute little thing with us." Jenna laughed, and the majestic bird flew to sit up on her shoulder. It chirped happily.
Aurianna stared out into the distance confused and trying to decide what to do with the cute little bird. When it chirped at Jenna, Auri tried to picture places to keep it, but somewhere safe enough to visit it often.

Only if Professor Hagrid was still a teacher......
Biting her tongue with anticipation, Auri said, "Maybe we can let one of the professors hold onto it."

"I don't really know, but we need a temporary home for it tonight, and we could move it in the morning."

The sun was setting and the forbidden forest looked dark and creepy as the stars twinkled from behind its shadows.

"What do you guys think?"

James glanced at the horizon. It was getting late, and he knew they needed to just make a decision.
Finally, he spoke up again.
"Why don't we take the Snidget with us for now, and keep it with us in our dorm. Well, actually, it would probably be best with you two in the girl's dorm. While one of us stays with it, the other two of us can go to the library and see if we can find anything about it. Like, what it needs, what it eats, stuff like that. Then, if needed, we can go and sneak food from the kitchens or something."
There was small moment where James didn't know what to say, but then he tried his best.
"Deal?" he asked, looking in between Aurianna, Jenna, and the little golden bird.
James felt like he might need to say a little something more to them.
"We can do that for now, and once we come up with a better plan, then we can use it. But for the moment, let's keep it safe and hidden with us while it heals. I think the ultimate goal would be to release it back into the forest and get it back to wherever it came from." James finished.
He hoped that they would agree, because they needed to do something NOW.

Jenna nodded in agreement; it sounded like a plan to her. "I agree. If it's alright with you two, could I keep it first? Auri can eat dinner really fast, then come and take over for me to go eat... James, you could check out some books and bring them to dinner so we can look them over?" She gave a half-smile, not sure if her plan was exactly the one they needed; but she wanted to contribute.

Aurianna nodded quickly as she started to stare off into the woods, longing to venture, but her eye snapped back to the Golden Snidget. It was all for the bird, knowing that its life hung by a thread, based on whatever they decided.
Aurianna would hold onto the bird as her friend ate and then they would switch.
If that was all they could do, then at least the bird owuld grow up healthy and be let out in the wild.
"Lets do it!" Aurianna exclaimed in enthusiasim.
The sun was set, and the stars twinkled in the night, and adventure was starting and Aurianna turned around to walk back towards the Hogwarts castle, her home.
But as she turned around, Aurianna couldn't shake the feeling, but it was almost as if a figure was standing in the shadows of the forest, watching their interactions.
Aurianna then thought, Who or what would out here in the dark, at this hour? It must be nothing.
Aurrianna turned around and saw nothing. It must just be my imagination, she thought.
The lights glowed from the windows of the castle and the students knew it was time to enter the school of magic.
