Meeting of two? The Pack PV Henry Finished

"Less worries sounds good." Miranda nodded thoughtfully. "And I think we'll be ready by the weekend. So yeah, that'd work well." She paused, worrying with a page from her notepad that was looking considerably bent by now. "Although, maybe we should start the meeting without mentioning the full moon or stuff like that? Maybe just chat about unimportant things so that they start feeling more relaxed, then continue to more pressing topics, like how they feel about their "furry problem", as you put it."

Miranda had been thinking furiously of ways to let the other werewolves, especially the ones who weren't comfortable with their condition, acclimate. Otherwise they might decide attending meetings caused more stress than calming, and leave the group.

At Henry's suggestion, she brightened. "Yes, I hadn't thought of that, but you're right. Keeping it mostly secret is bound to help them feel more at ease. Maybe we could send some school owls after them? I know for a fact that they're pretty good at tailing students until their messages are received - the owls, that is." Miranda had been using this method to get in touch with her brother, since he never seemed to be around where she could talk to him. It worked well, but as of yet she'd only received a single response, and a short one at that.

"Well, we'll see how our first meeting goes," Miranda decided, glancing down at her notepad - again, she might add. "But third or fourth sounds good. Hopefully they'll be at least comfortable by then, and ready to start that topic. But if not, we may have to push it as far back as the sixth or seventh. Although probably not as far back as that, because then it would be less of a club for helping werewolves acclimate, and more of one to get together and chat, which, while not necessarily bad, isn't the real purpose."

Hopefully, things would work well enough that it wouldn't take long for them to reach that topic. Because otherwise their task was going to get much harder. But surely there were other students that were comfortable with the reality of their situation, or had at least grown to loosely tolerate it...right? Miranda very much hoped so.

"Really?" she asked in response to Henry's suggestion. "That would be incredibly useful! Definitely better than using seeker-owls, seeing as those could get intercepted or the like." In Miranda's experience, owls tended to only let the true recipient take the message, but one never knew what might happen. It was better to prepare for all eventualities, just in case something went wrong.

"Yes, if you don't mind." Miranda closed her notepad and stood up as well. She glanced around the library. "I could probably use some time to finished up some of my Defense Against The Dark Arts homework."

"Exactly," Miranda replied with a nod. While chatting with others was always interesting, there were more important things they had to do first - idle talk could come later, once the more pressing matters were taken care of. She glanced around the library, casually checking to make sure no one had wandered within hearing distance, but there was no need, so she soon turned her gaze back to Henry.

"Okay, so we'll use owls until you get the charm to work, then we can hand out whatever we decide to use as communicators and scrap the owls for the time being. Yes, I think that would work." She couldn't suppress a smile spreading across her face at the thought that perhaps everything would go alright - that their plan would succeed, and things would get better for werewolves all across the school. Failure would not - could not - be an option, not for her sake, nor the sakes of all the lycanthropes that could possibly benefit from it.

The two of them then parted ways, and Miranda began to make her way through the winding passages of the library, searching for the exit so she could grab her notes and papers from her dorm. Too bad she couldn't carry everything around in a notebook.
