Books
I had wondered several times how I had managed to make it into Ravenclaw house. I wasn't quite sure if I was smart enough but if their was onr Ravenclaw trait I indefinitely eximplaflied it was a love of books. The first time I walked into the room it was astounding the smell of books overwhelmed. Beautiful novels took up every inch of all the many shelves that enveloped tht large room.
I grinned, I couldn't wait to discover all the many stories all around this room.
Even though I had been going to the library almost every afternoon since then my attitude still hadn't changed. It was the one place at Hogwarts I felt most safe and at home. I of course loved Hogwarts but I still felt out of place and like I never really belonged their. I wanted to make more friends and feel less anxious here of course but I just had trouble with it.
So for today I would probably end up spending by time with fictional friends I start exploring the shelves. I picked a few books up but before I could make it to a table hiden in the back of the library I end up tripping over a stray book laying on the floor, all my books go sprawling over the floor and unfortunately as soon as I fall to the floor I hear someone walking up to me.

Brionna's mood was kind of soured after her latest Homework performance.
The curly haired first year figured she could clear her thoughts if she went to one of her favorite reading places- the Library. She had intended for it to be a peaceful trip, something to fill her head so she wasn't left alone to her thoughts and doubts. As Brionna read, time didn't really seem to pass or stand still, just simply exists. The first year could have been in there for a few seconds, or a couple hours for all she knew. All she did know was that she needed to focus on something.
So she holed up in some odd corner where you usually wouldn't sit and switched between taking notes and reading. When her back began to ache, she figured it was time to take a little break and stretch out her stiff limbs. Standing carefully and very non-carefully dumping her items haphazardly into a pile in her "spot", she made her way towards the shelves.
Brionna didn't even make it three steps when she saw a blur of books go flying and heard the thump of someone falling. She turned to the sound alarmed, the same motherly instinct she had over her brother's taking over. Even without her glasses on, Brionna noticed the small brunette girl on the ground, surrounded by the books Brionna presumed she dropped.
"Are you a-alright?" Brionna asked, anxious about trying to talk to another person and making sure the poor girl was alright. Brionna started collecting some of the books up while spewing some facts at the girl in an attempt to comfort her. "You know, statistically slips, trips, and falls cause about 700 fatalities per year."
... That wasn't exactly the best fact to start with. Brionna was still working on this nervous tick.
