Life story so far….
Molly was born on 2nd February in Cambridge, England. She was the first, and so far, only child of Theodore and Marianne Lupus. The Lupus family lived in a small muggle town on the outskirts of Cambridge. At first Molly appeared to be a happy and perfectly normal baby girl.
Around the age of three however, strange things began to happen. One morning Marianne was upstairs with her daughter who was practicing walking at the top of the stairs. Molly was always a little clumsy and Marianne was about to reach for her daughter and pull her further into the landing to stop her from falling. Unfortunately, she was too late and all she could do was watch as Molly tumbled down the stairs. The funniest thing Molly appeared to bounce like a rubber ball rather than hurt herself and when she reached the bottom of the stairs, she was completely unharmed and instead of crying she giggled. Marianne explained this away as being simply lucky. She mentioned it to her husband Theodore who agreed it was probably just luck.
Shortly after this however, Marianne found Molly in the living room, she could smell burning paper and when she approached her daughter, she found ashes at her feet and a letter Marianne had received that day was missing. A few cinders remained from the burnt remnants of the letter. Marianne checked the room, but she was unable to find a plausible source that would cause the ignition of the paper.
Marianne again explained this to her husband, she was becoming increasingly unnerved about these strange events. It was then that Theodore revealed to his wife the truth. He was a wizard and he came from a world of magic. At first Marianne did not believe this, she’d been married to Theodore for six years and she could not understand how she did not know this about her husband, as far as she knew her husband was an ordinary man who worked for a newspaper in London. Theodore explained that he actually worked for the Daily Prophet, a wizarding newspaper. It was when he showed his wife the moving pictures that she finally believed in magic.
Once the truth was out Molly’s father started to educate her about the wizarding world and the wonderous and dangerous things that it held. From the age of three Theodore would describe his childhood at Hogwarts and the wonderous things that he learnt and how it helped shape him into the wizard that he was today. He explained about the four houses and how each of them was different and special. He explained about the sorting ceremony and that the sorting hat had placed him in Hufflepuff when he was young.
Molly adored her father’s stories and learning about his family. Theodore explained that he was a half blood wizard just like she was and that both his mother had been a witch and his father was a muggle.
Marianne also enjoyed learning about the wonderous things in the magical world and grew to feel blessed that, although not magical herself, she had become part of this world and so had her daughter. Marianne herself was a teacher at a local first school and although she and Theodore both hoped that Molly would be attending Hogwarts when she turned eleven Marianne insisted that until this happened her daughter would attend muggle school so that she would gain knowledge and understanding of the muggle world. Molly did enjoy muggle school when she attended, and she loved learning new things and bettering herself and this is a philosophy that she hopes to employ during her time at Hogwarts.
Now that Molly is at Hogwarts, she is feeling super excited and on the precipice of being overwhelmed but in the best possible way. The sorting ceremony was just as nerve wracking as she thought it was going to be, in front of all those strangers, their eyes trained on her all anticipating which house she would be put in. Molly was overjoyed that she was placed in Hufflepuff. Of course, she knew that other people strived to be in the other three houses, but she felt huge relief that she had been placed in the same house as her father when he was young. Molly really feels that she can find her way, make her mark, and carve out her own path in Hufflepuff.
The classes she is most looking forward to are herbology and care of magical creatures.

Positive traits
• Dedicated; when she sets herself a goal Molly will push herself harder and commit herself fully to ensure that she achieves her ambitions.
• Loyal; although it can take some time to get to know Molly, when she makes friends they are usually for life. She will never betray the people that she cares for.
• Kind; at a young age Molly was taught that kindness is free and can make a big difference to someones life by her father. She is therefore always aware of this and will show kindness to anyone or anything.
• Honest; although she will not speak her mind Molly will never lie, she will always tell the truth even if it means that she gets in trouble. After all honesty builds trust.
• Intuitive; her gut instincts are almost always right, so she tends to follow her first instinct always.
Negative traits
• Timid; it takes Molly a little while to warm up to people, she never wants to embarrass herself, offend other people or do or say anything that will make people look at her in a negative way. Therefore, she often shy’s away from conversations with people she doesn’t know very well and will mostly listen to them until she is comfortable to open up about herself.
• Dreamer; although not necessarily bad for Molly herself she can loose her train of thought or find herself deep in a daydream in the middle of class and it’s been known to get her in trouble in the past.
• Clumsy; carrying anything breakable is a gamble for Molly, there is always a chance that she will drop it and she has been known to injure herself and others around her when she’s having a particular clumsy day. This is always worse when she’s nervous, tired or feeling intimidated.
• Pushover; being an only child Molly always likes to please people even if this is sometimes to her detriment. She can often find herself being taken advantage of or manipulated.
Quirks
• When Molly is really nervous, she chews the end of her hair or her nails.
• Since a child she has been fascinated by the shapes and colours of leaves and started a herbarium* with her mother when she was five years old, she still collects leaves that catch her eye.
