Dancing
I wasn't sure exactly how I had ended up in the ballroom, I still hadn't quite figured out how to navigate moving staircases and my sense of direction wasn't good in general but when I opened the door and realized which room I was in, I wasn't entirely displeased with the troublesome castle.
In fact I smiled a bit, the room was empty and quite beautiful, a stage took place of the place and a huge chandelier hung down from the ceiling. I smiled a bit laughing about what I was considering doing. I didn't dance to often I always felt self conscious when surrounded by people but I was alone here so it wasn't like anyone was going to see me if I made a complete and utter fool of myself.
So I finally convinced myself why not just take this time to dance.
I didn't have any music but I started humming a song as I spun around the room probably not as gracefull as my mind made it out to be, but still fun. I began singing the words as I attempted a pirouett laughing gleefully at myself. I was enjoying myself and had begun belting out the lyrics but then I heard the door creak open.

Dancing
I had walked into the ballroom, needing a break from society. The high ceilings were wonderful and clean, lovely as ever. The walls looked so polished and pretty, I felt almost guilty being in here. But something caught my attention. A girl. She was singing, and dancing in the most beautiful way, it shocked me. I had just come in here for a break, but it didn't look like I would get one, so I decided to accept it. The girl just looked at me with her blue eyes, similar to mine by quite a bit. I hated just barging in on her, and by the way she reacted to me coming in, she was thoroughly embarrassed by being caught here, dancing like a professional. i had a bit of experience dancing, but overall not much, seeing as I had never strayed within a few miles of my home all my life. I had no idea how to sing, though. That being said, I wanted more friends so just standing there staring really won't help. So, I gathered the seriously shattered pieces of my courage and my lips formed the dumbest words ever.
"Hi"
Like, that's all I could think of, standing there for five minutes?! I am really not good at this. I was pacing inside of my mind, scolding myself for doing this. But eventually, the girl spoke back.

Dancing
I blinked startled and utterly mortifed as as a blonde haired girl walked into the room. I immediatly stopped and almost tripped over my robes in my haste. I clamped my mouth shut and stared at the floor having no idea what to say. My face was probably red as a tomato and all I wanted to do was run out the door as quickly as possible but my feet seemed stuck to the floor. So we just stood their for a few minues not saying anything. A million thoughts of all the things she could say to me ran through my head as the awkward silence continued.
Then she finally broke it, "Hi." She said. Her voice was shaky and quiet which I wasn't expecting. I looked up at the girl she was probably a first year but I was pretty sure I had never seen her in Ravenclaw. She was on the shorter side, thin, with gray eyes.
I give her a sheepish smile awkwardly fidgeting with my sleeve. "Uh, hi. S-sorry about that. I didn't know anyone was going to come in here and um..." I stuttered out a string of nonsense words, "Sorry, I can uh leave? If you needed the room for something or wanted to be alone or whatever." I say trying to keep eye contact and not follow my instinct to hide behind my hair and pretend i wasn't their.

Dancing
The girl was so surprised she almost tripped over her robes. I felt as embarrassed as her, but when I looked at her robes, she was in Ravenclaw. The Ravenclaw Jax was in. His eyes came into my mind, but I shook off the thought although it was clinging to my mind, not wanting to go away.and then the girl started to speak.
"Uh, hi. S-sorry about that. I didn't know anyone was going to come in here and um..." she mumbled something else, i couldn't make out what it was. She continued with her scared comments.
"Sorry, I can uh leave? If you needed the room for something or wanted to be alone or whatever." I was so sorry I had barged in, invading her privacy, so I took a deep breath and tried ti sound comforting and nice like my mom.
"No, really, I was just exploring. By the way, you are incredible at dancing. And singing. Can I join you?" I sounded just like my mom. Her amazing ability to be comfoting and friendly must be genetic. I sincerely hoped I had inherited it too. I had accomplished friendship... i think. I knew just what to do, even though I didn't. I just started doing random dances. I knew about ballet, my mom had taught me some. I took off my shoes and socks, lifting onto demi pointe, into releve first, then I ballet stepped and kicked by leg up into a split behind me. I then did a front walkover, towards the girl and reached out a hand to her. I had no ides what her reaction would be, but I said a silent prayer she would relax.
