Alexei scanned the field to see who remained. He had already been hit once, so he was on thin ice. However, he wasn't going to go down if he could help it, and certainly not without bringing down as many others as he could. "Miss Ariana, should I be hurt that you're paying this much attention to someone other than me?" he called across the field upon noticing the lovely girl had set her attention on some younger boy. She had definitely caught his eye the first night, and she was one of the few girls who seemed to take his flirtatious nature in stride.

After a moment of thinking, he decided to go for the other boy, seeing as he was interesting enough to Ariana that she had focused on him that long. Squeezing his water balloon slightly, he flung it with every ounce of strength in him directly at his rival's head. The word "rival" might be a bit strong, but anyone who took the attention of a pretty girl was someone Alexei considered to be an enemy. After his projectile took flight, he glanced back over at Ariana and shot her a wink before turning his attention back to the game to see who all remained.

The veela managed to evade the shots of Remis water gun, swerving to the right as she readied herself with another balloon. Her frustration at missing yet again went straight to her head and she groaned in frustration, shooting a death glare towards her fellow gryffindor.

"Miss Ariana, should I be hurt that you're paying this much attention to someone other than me?"

A familiar voice spoke up, within relatively close proximity. Knowing perfectly well who this was, Ariana turned her head towards the durmstrang boy, a scowl decorating her pretty visage. However, she corrected this expression in a flash, plastering on a fake smile as she spoke her turn, voice dripping with sarcasm.

“My dear Alexei, there are much, much worse ways I could hurt you. Don't go thinking I'm the simple sort of girl now, you would only ever be in for a surprise if you do.”

The boy shot her a flirtatious wink and Ariana stepped forward, plummeting a water balloon in his direction. If only he would turn around, so that the balloon could hit him smack right on his pretty face. That would have been highly amusing. Forget Remi, she had a new target now.

It had not gone unnoticed to her that Alexei had attempted to fire at Remi for her, however the gryffindors feisty temper had unfortunately taken control, and so she skimmed over the possibility that they could have been teammates, instead choosing to rival yet again another person.

“I hope I didn't hurt you, Alexei!'' She called out in his direction teasingly, watching as the balloon soared through the air. “Now, that would be a shame, wouldn't it?”

Melissa ran for a few seconds from the refill station until she remembered Johannes. What a smart boy he was. Just standing at the refill station, waiting to get hit. "Johannes! Come on," she called out. Then, she continued to run, hoping she didn't draw attention to the others while shouting to the third year. Does he have an IQ of like...50? Mel snorted as she thought about that. Like, who would just stand there, out in the open? It was basically just like asking to be hit with water. The game was getting even more intense now so they had to be more careful.

The ginger decided to go back to the box she hid in earlier because the other ones were probably already occupied by others. She didn't want to take any chances...especially because she only had one life left remaining. Many people still had two lives left so it was unfair to Mel. She would have to shoot them twice while they only had to shoot once. As she hid behind the box, she thought, I...well 'we' if Johannes can think for himself for once, actually might have a chance at winning this...

Things were beginning to get tense. Aurelia was oblivious to all the people being eliminated around her, yet she still felt the urge to hurry up with all of this.

Sadly it looked like that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. Aurelia stood there while the girl, who she now knew to be from Durmstrang, tried to comprehend what Auri had said. Frick, the stupid language barrier might even cost them the game.

She vigorously nodded when the girl started to catch on that they were forming a team. "Yep! You. Me. Team", she said with relief and proceeded to point at the girl, then herself, and to the both of them.

At this point, Aurelia was quite sure that the girl understood. Her newly found teammate even appeared to be trying to tell her something. Auri intently watched as the girl pointed her gun towards the field and said: "Everyone?"

Ah, it took her a second but she realized the girl was asking her who to shoot. "Uhm, yes. Everyone", she murmured. Shooting everyone seemed like a good idea, as she didn't have much of a plan anyways, except to be the last ones standing of course.

A bit too late, it caught her attention that her new teammate was already wandering off towards a box. Aurelia facepalmed herself, sitting out in the open was not a good idea. Then, she hurriedly ran up to her and ducked behind the box.

That was when she spotted him again. Alexei. A few minutes ago he was her main target, but now she had already accomplished what she wanted. She had already hit him. Luckily a perfect target was lurking nearby.

Aurelia began aiming her water gun at the veela when she remembered her teammate. Who was expectantly looking at her for instruction. "Erm", how should she phrase this? "I... shoot, that girl", she pointed her gun at Ariana. "You help me shoot her? We... get her out?"

Hopefully, her teammate would catch on. Without wasting any more time she fired off her water gun, directly aiming at Ariana's chest. Poor girl, she had been aimed at so many times already. Maybe it was for the better that they would put her out of misery. But on the inside, Aurelia prayed that she wouldn't take it too seriously. They just met after all.

Then she spun around to face her durmstarng teammate. "I'm Aurelia"

Arjan grinned as he hit his target. This was obviously the best way to get a girl's attention and to get a girlfriend, right? Attacking them with water balloons until they realised he was amazing? No? Well either way, he picked out another water balloon from the bucket. He was going to attack @Lucille Williams again because she was cute and he wanted to flirt. However... Something stopped him.

The incredibly buff boy suddenly noticed a much smaller frame from the corner of his eyes. A recognisable one. His... sister? What was she doing here?! The expression on his face was one of bafflement as though this was literally the first time he had seen her - mostly because he did not bother to pay attention to her. He was too busy focusing on the prettiest girls around and ignored people like her or... boys. She seemed to be doing well, which kind of irked him. Spotting her with a friend, he rolled his eyes. Of course. It was so like Serena to team up and show off about how people liked her.

It was annoying. But everyone seemed to like her. At least, that was how he saw it. He did not even understand why. She was an annoying and always looked like a mess. Even now, he spotted mud on her knees as she had obviously not bothered to maintain an appropriate appearance. Sighing as he shook his head, he turned his aim towards her. Getting her out would be better, for the Oberoi-Towers name. No one needed to see how messy she looked. Did she even spend time looking in a mirror? He was pretty sure she did not.

Serena ducked out, running towards the refill section after informing her badger dormmate. She quickly refilled her water gun, grinning at the fellow Hogwarts students - like @Jake Morris and @Alan Vanes - who were doing a lovely job in her opinion. She was honestly so proud of Jake, he was such a bean and he seemed to have grown so much since she first met him. That was the most wonderful thing about Hogwarts. It helped you to realise you were so much stronger than you might have first thought you were. How it did that was probably kind of terrifying but it was still nice to see the growth.

Refilling quickly, she turned back to the game. Serena made a mad dash towards her friend, Amadea, as she attempted to return. Team work was how they would win the game - obviously. She was a Hufflepuff. Team work was their greatest strength and everyone else's weakness. At least, that was her intention when she spotted that her brother had seen her. Did he just... Yup! She noticed him aiming for her. It was time for revenge.

Quickly aiming her gun, she fired it directly towards her stinky older brother. Admittedly, he was not that much older than her - nor actually "smelly" per se but he did use waaaay too much body spray and it was ridiculous. Either way, though, his personality stunk in her opinion and he lorded the fact that he was "older" and therefore "better" or "superior" to her in every way possible, constantly. This time, it was time for revenge!

𝓢erena's water gun was back in action now and Amadea was ready to take on the field. During the last round, she had decided to lay low, watching as the field diminished quickly as people shot each other or pelted each other with water balloons. Now there were only a few players left and Amadea was surprised that she had made it this far, especially with both of her lives left. In the back of her mind was the horrible thought of what would happen if it came down to her versus Serena. While Amadea doubted that she would last that far into the game, it seemed as though her performance so far was proving her wrong. If things came to that, Amadea decided in her head, she would forfeit the game to Serena. After all, there was no way she could have gotten this far without the Hufflepuff's help. Or, maybe they could just call it a draw and both be the winners! They surely would make Hufflepuff proud.

Of course, in order to make that decision, she and Serena had to actually make it down to the final two first. As Amadea watched Serena sprinting toward her, she also noticed that someone was aiming toward her Hufflepuff ally as she ran. Oh no he didn't! No one shot at her ally without retaliation. Amadea saw Serena was also aiming toward the boy; perhaps they would both be lucky and be able to both hit their shot, immediately getting the boy out. She closed one of her eyes, hoping that it would help her aim and she raised her water gun, aiming toward the newest assailant. They were a team, and together they were going to take down all of the competition that stood in their way!

Alan was busy watching from the sidelines as he monitored the game and made sure that everyone followed the rules. At this point the third year had an easier job as a lot of the other students already had been out of the game after losing both of their lives and as it was looking, a lot more of the students would follow suit around this time.

Still distracted by the fact that Serena had just hit him, Arjan did not expect another student aiming for him and with that @Amadea Campbell would hit him in the back as his shirt was now fully soaked with water. Alan couldn't contain a grin as he held up his hand to call for Arjan's attention. "You're out!" Meanwhile @Breana Oliveire had been working hard this whole time and her thrown water balloons would catch a bunch of absent-minded people. With that a couple of water balloons would impact on @Paisley Bellweather, @Miranda Everest, @Lucille Williams, Johannes Ambrozy (@Astrea Soleil Neptune) and @Altair Cometnova.

Retreat. Regroup. Refocus. GO! With a new ally and a renewed sense of value and comaraderie in this unlikely and unplanned pairing, Greta and the girl with strange hair were off! Somewhat. Not off to a great start, exactly, however. Although they had managed to get through to one another well enough to hash out some sort of plan, and even managed to communicate a singular target to attack, the attempt was depressingly unsuccessful. First one, then a second, jet of water struck against the box behind which the target was hiding. Or just missed entirely. It was difficult, attempting to aim when all anyone seemed to do was play coy and hide behind a fortress of wood.

Cowards! Why wouldn't they could out and fight. Scared, perhaps. Certainly not strategic. Although she had entertained the idea of routing behind a box herself, moments before, it was hardly to duck and dodge out of sight. She wouldn't be caught dead hiding behind one. It might prove useful to avoid assault from those on the other side, but surely the crouching to make oneself small would present a very flat-footed and tempting target, indeed, for anyone that happened to be hiding behind there with them. Or anyone that made their way behind enemy lines...

Which was exactly what Greta made to do. Keeping one eye on the combat around her with the hope that she might at least get a hint of anyone deciding to attack her, she kept the other forward. Like a kitten let loose on the prowl, she sprung forward with the intent to circle around the box and corner her prey against it. She kept her pistol raised, trained forward at those behind the structure ready to fire the moment either of them raised their heads long enough to present a suitable target. And the moment one of them did, she pulled hard on the trigger.
