Following the new priority system, the first 60 hours is set for new players to get their posts in and secure a spot. Thread will be caped at 14 players. A tip from me: draft up your post. Please state which broom you will be using.
Only a few days ago had Eaux handed her mistress a stack of parchment. Aurelia had not expected so many students to have signed up for her club, especially not since the visits to the hospital wing after every session were plentiful. One thing was for sure, the promise of danger certainly appealed to the students of hogwarts. Nevertheless, despite the large number of applications which she accepted without reading them through and went ahead to plan the activity.THE STARTER
Two professors would have received an owl from her two days prior. They were none other than the quidditch professor and the slytherin head of house. It would have been taking huge risk not inviting authority to oversee her club's games since most students were well aware of the new rules implemented. The last thing she wanted was a year's work developing her club to go to waste.Dear Professors,
I will be hosting a variation of shuntbumps and would be delighted for you to oversee this half-hour long session that would be taking place in the quidditch pitch on Thursday's dusk. This would be the first game of the club, the spells wands and games club, a club that I have founded last year. One of our equipment for this game and I would like to request for permission to use a few school brooms from the quidditch storage room for our game.
Regards,
Aurelia Notresvace
Gryffindor
On the day of the game, Aurelia sent her house elf as per usual to notify her members about the upcoming game that evening. Little did she know what fun Eaux had on the job. In the evening after she had a light fill of dinner, Aurelia made her way down with one of her three brooms under her arm. She had selected the moontrimmer today. Shortly, she collected the school brooms before waiting in the middle of the pitch where they were to gather.

Flash was not a heavy sleeper, especially not when he was in the unideal conditions of the Slytherin dungeons. Being that he woke up at the crack of dawn anyway, he was startled awake by the scratching sounds of the house elf standing on his bed. It was a whole thing-- tumbling out of bed, yelling… Flash hadn’t exactly grown less paranoid over the summer, and figured it was the scratching bony finger of death ready to drag him out of his bed and down into Tartarus. Well, thankfully not, it was just a notice for the new club he joined.
Though he didn’t particularly enjoy the method, he sort’ve knew what he was getting himself into. He was always interested in growing his circle of influence, and the S.W.A.G. group had opened applications for new members. He already knew a great deal of the participants, so there was also a likely chance that he could enjoy himself like he did growing up, participating in some sports. He was pretty optimistic about it, even though his nerves were set on edge for the rest of the day.
‘Dusk’ however was somewhat vague, which was probably why he ended up showing up first, besides their illustrious host Miss Aurelia. He had never met her formally, but she was infamous enough that it was easy to recognize her. Flash carried the Comet 180 with him to the pitch, wearing the minimal amount of protective gear he owned. Some shin guards and elbow guards from football, which no longer fit him quite as well as they did two years ago. Ever since his tenth birthday he had been steadily getting taller, and it didn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. He would have to ask his retainer for something new, perhaps this first game would give him an idea of what to expect.
”Good afternoon, Miss Aurelia.”
The house elf's scrawled message didn't mention what game was going to be played, but if it had to do with flying Flash was willing and prepared. He was most curious to see who all were going to be his opponents. His mood was greatly lifted with the prospect of friendly competition on the horizon.

The day was a rather average one as Scarlett Aden woke up. She had rolled over to her side, groaning slightly as the weak light of the sun filtered through the dormitory. The Gryffindor was evidently not a morning person. Before Scarlett had barely sat up, and before her eyes had even gotten the tiniest bit used to the light of the morning - which was so different from the perfectly dreamless sleep she had just woken up from - a house elf appeared by the wooden headboard of her bed. Scarlett's dark-brown eyes took a small moment to process the sight, and the girl had already started to say, "Who the actual fu-" before the elf scraped something on her headboard quickly with some tool and promptly disappeared with a snap of its wrinkly fingers. Scarlett had stared at the spot where the elf had disappeared for a while, her not-so-early-bird mind processing what had just happened. Then the more logical part of her brain decided to check what the elf had scrawled on the piece of wood.
The message looked hastily composed, consisting only of short phrases. But it got the message through, even though the vandalism was probably not the best way to do it. Perhaps the writer of the message and master (or mistress) of the house elf had decided that a more...permanent notice would be the way to go? The redhead hoped dearly that all of the notes wouldn't be like this. Really, she didn't want her headboard to be full of scribbles, forever etched onto the handsome mahogany wood.
But, Scarlett had to admit, the message was an exciting one. The first bit had already caught her eye: 'S.W.A.G today'.
***
The rest of the school day was rather tedious for the young lion, who couldn't help thinking - or daydreaming - about the upcoming game. She had never attended a S.W.A.G game before, and was quite excited. Whilst some dreamt about their future and romance, Scarlett wistfully daydreamed of dangerous Quidditch matches and fights and brawls and excitement. Anyone who ever read her mind with the skill of Occulemency would probably confuse Scarlett's thinking space with that of a madman's (or woman, or child).
After lessons had finished, it was another wait before dusk finally fell. The minute it was high time to go, Scarlett changed into a more practical outfit for these activities (robes, seriously?) and almost sprinted out to the Quidditch Pitch. The girl had been here before, of course, but on the stands, basically losing her voice from all the cheering. She had never actually been on the pitch. This would be rather exciting.
Scarlett was almost never early, so anyone who knew her properly would find it as a shock to see the Gryffindor rush onto the pitch, wand in pocket. Only two people had currently arrived. Aurelia...she couldn't remember the fourth-year's surname. Too hard and French-y. And then there was a boy, with brown hair. He looked her age, but she could never really tell.
She had, depressingly, no broom so hadn't brought one to the pitch. If flying was involved, the girl had decided she would simply snag a school broom when no one was looking. But a glance at Aurelia What's-Her-Surname told Scarlett there was no need - Aurelia already had collected the school brooms.
Scarlett wandered to the middle of the pitch, seemingly confident in what she was doing. She scanned her opponents - not many. Well, just one. It was the brown-haired boy she had spotted as she'd arrived.
"Aurelia," said Scarlett, quite formally to be honest. For some reason, the fourth-year seemed to be radiating a small...aura. One that could feel creepy in some students' point of view. To Scarlett, she felt nothing. But she still felt that the girl was not to be crossed. "What are we playing today? Or...are you going to explain that later?"
Scarlett's eyes scanned the surrounding area for any clue of what they were going to be doing.
Then she turned to the boy and offered her hand. "Scarlett."
That was all she said simply. Not everyone deserved a hefty amount of recognition.Action Arriving on pitchReducio

Willow was quite the early riser her first year, and that carried on into her second year. Her walks with Flash had pretty much come to a stop for this year as they both decided to have that time for themselves. The young artist had taken to going down to the Great Lake to watch the mist clear from the dark waters and let the morning sun guide what she ended up drawing that day. Her sketchbook had grown a lot happier since last year's fire, but at the same time more experimental and inquisitive into Willow's deep thoughts.
Returning to her dorm, her usually calm cat Buttons was incredibly stressed and skeeved out by something. Willow quickly approached and tried to settle the poor frightened thing before looking around to try and figure out what could have startled him so bad. Her eyes caught a new... artistic addition to her trunk which gave her instructions for the first SWAG game. When signing up she didn't realize it would happen so soon, but was excited nonetheless. She spent the rest of her morning before class attempting to soothe the young tabby.
--
She arrived on the field that morning with a tremendous bounce in her step and a new Silver Arrow in her hand. It would be the first time she used the broom which was donated to her by a dear upper year in her house, Amadea. She could barely look at the Nimbus 1500 she had, still traumatized fromt he Durmstrang game. Hopefully this flying event would produce a lot less angst and a lot more fun. Besides, this was a fun friendly activity~ Whatever it was, she didn't know.
The anticipation for the upcoming event only grew when she saw a tall familiar mop of brown hair already on the pitch. She started in a sprint towards him, as quietly as she could, to try and surprise him with a hug. He knew her too well though and turned at the last second, catching her as she leaped into his arms. Using the momentum she had given them with the running start he spun her in a circle. The young girl couldn't help but let out an exhilarated giggle, giving him a small squeeze before he returned her to the ground. They wouldn't be on it for long if flying was involved. She turned to the other two that were there and smiled. "Hi hello~ I'm Willow!" While she knew Aurelia as the head of the club, she didn't really know her and the other girl was a complete stranger. Digging out a clump of friendship bracelets out of her pocket, she offered them to the other two. "I made friendship bracelets for the game! I just got really excited, but it has all four house colors!" She offered one to Flash too, even though they shared one already an extra friendship bracelet could never hurt.Permission Granted to Godmod a Flash Spin Hug

For Moderation:May woke up, after having a nightmare. Another one. May had been having a lot of nightmares these days, since she started school. She woke up, startled, for she was hearing something...wood carving? May tried to look under her bed, not bothering to wake up her roommate, but before that, she saw a house elf, quite cute, perhaps, carving into the wood of her bed. "Hey! W-"May tried stopping the elf, but it was useless. With a crack, it disappeared. May gave a great sight, and got up to read what the elf had carved. Were house elves supposed to act that way? May decided that no, that they would only act upon somebody's own orders. There it was. S.W.A.G meeting. Now.
May had signed up for S.W.A.G so that she would be able to earn a better reputation. She had lost all of her kindness that summer, for she had slapped her best friend in public, and of course, lost her forever. But that didn't matter. They were broken. A chill went through the back of her neck as she took her Comet 180, for the invitation said to bring brooms. The girl changed clothes, took her wand, and runned to the Quiddich pitch, not wanting anyone to stop her.
Thinking that she would be very late, May runned faster to the event, but then, she saw that two more people were there, no, three more people were there besides Aurelia (she decided it was her, because, well, she was famous and infamous at Hogwarts). May glazed a cold look at everyone. Not a good sign, don't approach her. Not even wanting to great anyone, she went to seat herself on the grass, her wand at the ready in hand, ready to start. She didn't even want to talk to the others. She just wanted to jinx a few people and that was that.

Usually the green eyes start their day by their morning jog. They never missed a day back when they were still first year but second year rolled in, it was a different story. Sure they are still doing their morning jog but not as often as they done in the previous year. At the sound of something or someone scrapping on a surface, Cash cracked one of their eyes that still heavy with sleep and look at a house elf.
They thought it was just a dream then they go back to sleep again. When they woke up again, they start their day by preparing themselves for classes of the day. Attending classes used to be fun for them but with a lot in their mind, attending classes feel like they are sleep walking. The purple hair girl still paid attention to all their classes but not so much.
Even though a lot in their mind, they always tried their hardest to not let their grades slipped. And so after the classes for the day ended, they walk back to their dorm and change. They about to put down the school book when something caught their eyes. 'S.W.A.G, today, dusk, fly pitch, bring broom'. At the short notice, smile creep up on the green eyes mouth.
At the beginning of school they signed up for S.W.A.G and today is the day the second year been waiting for. They change into grey tee that have 'Whatever' written on it, a black short pants and wearing the grey sneakers. The same color as their tee. Their shoulder length hair, tied into half pony style.
They throw the thick book carelessly on top of their desk. They pocketed their wand and walk out from their dorm.
《------》
Upon arriving at the pitch. Cash breathe in. The smile on their face now is a full blown grin. There are five others that already in the pitch. Cash wave at Scarlett, hoping the red head Gryffindor see them. The others, Cash had seen them around the castle before. The last time Cash saw May was she's Blake Bayne date for the Blossom Ball.
And the girl that hosted today game, Cash was sure she was there during a game where there were Alan, Rafa and a bunch other on the ground last year. Cash want to walked up to Scarlett but opted not to do that. These day, Cash a bit pulled out from their circle of friends. The one that unfortunately enough hear the Howler that Cash's mother sent; just two weeks before summer, knows why.
The green eyes girl then decided to sit and wait on the side line of the pitch while waiting for the others to show up.

Lucille might be way to excited for today.
She might also be severely un-prepared, but do you really think that'll stop her?
If you said no then good job.
Luci proudly walked into the makeshift arena with her Comet 180, a generous donation of the Ravenclaw broom fund, and with hope much to high she searched the area for a familiar face of sorts.
Of course there was the 'wonderful', Miss @Aurelia Notrésvace, who has of course planned the whole event and managed to annoy Lucille's dorm mates
by sending a damn elf to scratch her head-board and not even wake Lucille up.
Yes
The dang elf woke up most of her dorm-mates, but only five minutes later did they actually think of shaking Lucille awake to her groggy response,
"Huh...of course mermaids can fly!"
Hah
Today started out great.
Rushing to get some decent clothes on, Lucille grabbed a blank white tee, cute baby blue hoodie, cozy black sweat-pants, and some of her new black sneakers from back-to-school-shopping.
Of course, Lumi had practically chased Lucille around the castle, so in a moment of desperation the Ravenclaw would cast a quick Nix Facitur distraction in the corridors in order to not miss her first SWAG game entirely.
When she had finally arrived at the Quidditch Pitch, Lucille looked around and took a large sigh of relief.
---
Lucille jumped back into reality from that small morning flashback to see more students had actually arrived, a few being faintly familiar even.
For one, there was Cassandra Ironwoods, a confusing Slytherin student whom Lucille had originally met on the Hogwarts Express. Not much can be said about how the two know one-other, though still, someone she could slightly remember was better then no one.
Maybe Lucille should have gone up to chat with the snake, but instead she didn't, and ran over to where a not-so-happy memory surfaced.
May Moonstar.
The surprising aggressive Hufflepuff who was quite scary when showing her skills in charms class.
What a good ally she'd make.
"What a long time that would take."
Lucille thought to herself with a small smirk.
No matter, today she would have fun, and nothing would ruin that for her.

*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*The first week and a half of the new school year had come and gone and Ruby had found herself lashing out easily—while it was marginally more controlled than last year, she was having trouble putting it aside or ignoring it for any amount of time. She had joined the Spells, Wands, and Games club in the hope that it would be a good, safer outlet for her anger. Practicing her casting a little more never hurt, and the club was a way she could do that without breaking any rules. She was vaguely aware that some of her friends were part of this club, which she had mixed feelings about. She had been attempting to avoid them, but would it really hurt to be around them just for the game? No, and maybe they would make it more fun. Could being around friends help the anger go away…? It likely wasn't such a bad idea.
Soft footfalls accompanied her on the journey to the Quidditch pitch, a place she was very familiar with, having been a Chaser last year. When she arrived, she glanced at the seven students who were already there. Aurelia, the person who ran the club, was obviously there. Ruby didn't recognise three of them, but the other three? She wasn't fond of any of them, girls who had been an annoyance to her either in the past few days or last year. She barely managed to keep the scowl off of her face as she settled off to the side, posture as perfect as ever. A bit of a haughty air followed her as she watched the other students' interactions disdainfully. She didn't bother introducing herself or trying to strike up a conversation. There was no point, the game would be starting likely before any potentially interesting conversation could be finished. She had no doubt that Aurelia would explain what it was and how to play when the time came, but until then, asking what it was seemed pointless when it would be announced soon enough anyway. For moderation:

Alan was still getting used to being a fourth year now. School had started for about a week now and while it shouldn't be that big of a difference it most certainly felt different. As if there was something new in the air, something fresh. As if there were many new and many more secrets to be discovered and quite frankly the now fourth year had no clue where to begin with all of it so he was excited when on the morning of the tenth a familiar house elf could be found in his dorm room. As Alan woke up to get ready for the day he would be ably to see the creature stuff a piece of parchment onto his bedside table, only to whip around in surprise when the third year moved and sat up. Its eyes widened and with a startled screech it snapped its little fingers and disappeared into thin air and with that Alan was wide awake, ignoring the grumbles of his fast asleep room mate as he reached for the piece of parchment to read the invite to a game; a broom game of sorts and a smile curled on the fourth year's lips as he glanced over to the wardrobe and leaning to the side of it was his silver arrow that he had purchased over the summer.
So after he was done with his classes Alan would head back to his dorm, place his school books into a small shelf that was attached to the wall by his side of the dorm and placed the school work he would have to do onto his bedside table so he could come back to that later. For now he had other plans as he changed his clothes, grabbed his broom and headed out to the Quidditch Pitch where the Shuntbumps game would take place. He had never actually played is so perhaps he should have takes some time at first to ask River or Rafael about this game, but now he had no time for that anymore and just headed towards the pitch. He was now dressed in casual clothes; black pants that would allow good maneuverability on the broom as well as a deep red shirt with a chest pocket that had a small Niffler printed on it. He subtly used his ability to make sure that his hair would not fall into his face throughout the game to make sure that his vision wouldn't be obscured, as he gave a nod to a couple of students in the perimeter before he would head over to where he found @Flash Holmwood. "I didn't know you were in the club! Have you joined it over th-the summer?" It seemed like since the two had last spoken before the school year ended officially, the speech pattern of the Gryffindor had made major improvements be it through magical means or lots of practice was to be determined but the flow of words was there, making it easier to listen to and a bit faster in pace. He had also caught sight of @Willow Anderson, calling out her name as soon as he saw her and waved into her direction with a bright grin on his face.

Ana was going to commit a homicide. Was homicide the correct word seeing as her target was an elf? She wasn't sure, but she was going to wring that stupid thing's neck. Not only had it repeatedly waken her up, it had vandalised her bed frame. Ana had been sleepy enough that she had faceplanted when she had dived at the demented little thing, and she had been sore all day from that. She'd had to cast Reparo a few times since she hadn't been fully awake for the first two attempts. One of these days, she was going to sic Jaz on that stupid elf.
"Aurelia, your godforsaken elf has a bloody death wish," Ana said sourly as she arrived that evening for the game, her Silver Arrow in hand. Her new dark makeup was missing, as she hadn't much seen the point in doing it just to sweat it off, but her hair was still in its now customary messy ponytail. Her leather jacket also hadn't seemed entirely practical for a SWAG game, but it was cold and the jacket went with her outfit, so that settled that. The rest of her outfit was fairly basic and toned far down from her previous colorful ensembles. Still, she could move fairly well in her grey tank top and black leggings, which was always helpful in SWAG games. She didn't know what they were doing exactly beyond something on brooms.
Glancing around, she saw Ruby, who she had basically ghosted over the summer. She felt less guilty about her treatment of Ruby than say, her treatment of Eyre or Ivy, both of whom she had been incredibly nasty to the last time they had spoken. It was probably the best thing for both of them for her to continue her avoiding her best friend.
She would have joined Flash and Willow, but they were accompanied by someone whose face Ana had attempted to smash in a few days prior, so Ana opted to stand a bit away from the group with her arms crossed. As she waited, she used the toe of her sneaker to trace shapes in the dirt. She desperately wanted to punch that girl again but decided she would just have to wait a few moments until the game began before unleashing her fury on her.
