Rebellious was not a word that Aurelia would use to describe herself. However, she was blatantly going against her mother's wishes not to participate in the sport the woman was so abhorrent towards by signing up for the gryffindor team. For years, Aurelia had respected her mother's decision as she had always, but this year was different. This year, she was toeing the waters of new found freedom. After all, her mother was not here was she?
A surprise it was for Aurelia that she had been placed as a second string seeker. Given that Aurelia lacked training, she had not expected that the team to even accept her. Perhaps the cause was her seniority, as a fourth year they might have expected that she was adept in the sport, but little did they know, she had been purposefully failing flying lesson for the last couple of years. Nevertheless, Aurelia was held the title quidditch player, Gryffindor seeker and she was set on keeping it.
Aurelia trudged down to the quidditch pitch. She was greeted by the chill of air, and the shadows of grey clouds in a gloom overhead. It was evidence of the stormy season making its entrance. Today was not the day for Aurelia to practice, the last thing she wanted was to get caught in a storm whilst sky high on her broom. No, today, Aurelia was about to break in to the quidditch storage to scout for a snitch she could use for practice, of course when the skies were clearer.
The storage room was not hard to find, she had been in the school for three years now. With a quick mutter of the unlocking spell and wave of her wand, the door clicked open. This would be a quick, or so she thought.

Kyle Felt most alive when on a Broom. He had loved Quidditch since before he could walk and he had followed the career's of every member of the Kestral's since he was old enough to really understand the sport and the people involved. He learned to fly quite young and he had aspirations to be a beater for the Kestral's as an adult. However, that was before he was bitten by a werewolf and cursed. For awhile though he tried to keep everything under control. Keep the beast locked away and do his best to keep living life as normal. He even joined the Gryffindor Quidditch team and was their Captain. And he loved every minute of it. but...Things got worse as they so often do.
After losing those close to him, losing his position as captain, and feeling more and more like he was losing control over himself as the beast got ever stronger he just got more and more angry. At himself, at the curse, at Normal people.
Then this particular morning he felt like he was going to explode if he didn't ground himself. Do something to assert some control over his universe. to feel normal. So he went to the last place he felt really in control. The Quidditch pitch.
Kyle walked through the empty field and took a deep breath. He could almost hear the sound's of rushing brooms. The smack of skin against Quaffle's as they are passed. The crack of a bludger against a bat. He swallowed hard, lamenting what he lost as Captain of the team. Maybe...if he was lucky, they forgot to lock the equipment shed and he could take one of the bats and let out a training bludger or two. hed probably get detention if caught but what did that matter to him?
He ran a hand through his messy hair to get it out of his face as he arrived at the shed. He reached out and grabbed the handle and he smirked slightly. Unlocked. He pushed the door open and walked inside only to see another student already in here. The same girl who stuck her nose in his business the previous year. He scowled.
"You gotta ruin Quidditch now? that it?" he grumbles at her

While searching for the small trinket of gold, the unexpected creak of the old door of the storage room and the pattering of incoming footsteps unexpected had spooked her slightly, almost instinctively, the brunette reached for her wand tucked the pocket of her robes. It would have been wiser if she took a moment to assess the situation before drawing her weapon but the novice monster hunter had been trained to arm herself upon sensing any form of danger. It was not an easy feat to break old habits.
Fortunately for her, it was relief to be met with the the face of another student rather than a professor set to deliver a detention for breaking into the storage room. This student was none other than Kyle, a fellow gryffindor and notorious fighter and ex-captain for the gryffindor quidditch team. So far, gryffindor captains did not have a clean record. She'd seen Kyle around, not too often but noticed his scars, marks that piqued her curiosity. Their last encounter was in the abandoned bathrooms where the boy had shattered one of the already broken mirrors. His behaviour was very much erratic. Aurelia could only speculate from his behaviour that he was a teen going through a rough phase of the swing of puberty or he was none other than a lycantrope.
Aurelia would say the latter. The scar on his face was unlikely human inflicted.
If he was indeed a werewolf, the next phase of the full moon was happening in less than a weeks time that would mean that the boy before her, might not be as sane as he would without the inevitable approaching transformation. His mood was reflected with the downturn of his lips. That was not a good sign. Kyle was larger and a head taller than the older girl. Intimidating in general. But Aurelia would play a card of her own, (terrible presence) one she found recently that affected most beings significantly, a terrible sentiment seeping of her pores, like a defence mechanism built in her system.
"Ruin?" she repeated in a guffaw of disbelief. "You've never witnessed me on the pitch in action. Have you always squished the hopes of new players like how you're trying to do with me?" She asked.
"Well, try all you want, its not going to work. Especially not coming from the mouth of an ex-captain." the fourteen year old stated assertively.

Upon seeing the wand drawn his hackles raised instinctively at the threat of danger and he snarled as his hands tightened into fists, one of his nails cutting into his palm on accident but the small shoot of pain only served to make his senses even more sharp in this moment. Was this a trap? an ambush? had she planned this? Did she know what he was?
Then came words that hit him in the gut. Rubbing his face in the loss of his captain position. The one thing he had that made him need to be a better person. Something that he took pride in and people respected him for. The one thing that made him feel normal and like he wasn't just a monster. But...good things never last.
Seeing the wand drawn, the raw nerve poked, and the tone of the girl in front of him...it enraged the beast deep in his belly and it demanded to be let out. To teach this girl a lesson. There was something off about her, like she had her own strange strength or perhaps was a monster herself deep down but that wasn't going to deter him. If anything, it made him want to put her in her place even more. this shed wasn't big enough for two monsters.
From the corner of his eye he saw a beater bat hanging on the equipment rack next to him. If he ws going to get his hands on her he needed to close the distance before she could get a spell off. Acting Quickly he reached for and grabbed the bat from the wall and then hurled it towards her, hoping that this would give the distraction he needed to close the distance in time. Then, he would teach her to choose her words more carefully.

The girl's words had definitely stuck a nerve. There was the raging fury behind his eyes. Aurelia could not have picked a better time to poke the waking beast within the boy before him waiting for the very peak of the moon to emerge and take the wheel. Perhaps this was a mistake, if he was truly a lycantrope as she thought him to be, Aurelia would have gotten herself in a tight situation. However, the girl, who was perhaps too interested in peculiar creature for her own good was egging to see how this boy would behave. Likely something she would later jot down in to the page of her precious journal which she used for such investigations on that little hobby of hers.
The gryffindor seeker had expected for the ex-quidditch captain to have more of an aim. The bat which he had flung her way barely came close to her figure but struck the wall behind her with much force, leaving a noticeable dent. Kyle had to work on his aim, but his strength was more than perfect enough for a beater. Tempermental much? Kyle was indeed. Another factor as proof to his lycantrophy, never the less, so were most teenage boys.
Unfortunately, unlike Kyle, Aurelia would rather not get herself in a fight yet the drawing of her wand in defense and instinct would portray another message. If Kyle were to take another step closer, Aurelia would make a move to protect herself by uttering a quick and firm, "Flipendo,"

Kyle Swore to himself as he saw the beat bat go wide. He continued to move forward regardless, attempting to get to the witch before she could cast...but he was not faster than her draw. With wand in hand she aimed it at him and Cast Flippendo.
If there was one thing Kyle had learned during his time training for and playing quidditch, it was this. If you can dodge multiple crazy bludgers at the same time you can dodge almost anything. And as the wand movement finished and the incantation was leaving the girls lips he threw himself to the side and crashed into a table just in time for the spell to go off and crash things around the shed as it missed him.
Kyle closed his hands into fists as he pushed forward. He squared his shoulders and shifted into a stance he had plenty of training with by now. A standard Boxing stance. With practised ease he pulled his right fist back towards his chin and threw his left hand out in a sharp, quick jab to the girls nose in an attempt to stun and disorient her, to set up for the power blow he was getting ready. He was going to end this quick if he could. the longer she was able to cast spells, the more danger he was in.

Her aggressor was right in the path of the only escape available. The storage room lacked much space for movement, neither to dodge or run. But to make an attempt to leave would require decent skill to avoid those sturdy fists of the ex-beater. A bout of chaotic crashes would follow at her spell as her target threw himself out of the flipendo's trajectory, the outcome was a messy storage room and an unscathed Gryffindor. The act to defend herself only added fuel to the boy's growing rage.
Once again, the boy would make another move, a throw of his fist, but he was clearly disoriented from crashing into a table as hit would come no where near to the girl's vicinity. Although the boy lacked accuracy, he still posed much danger. Aurelia had to thread carefully to get out of a position she herself had gotten herself in. Her blue hues would eye across the boy's shoulder and to the exit. The distance to cover was not at all large, but the obstacle was huge.
Aurelia knew that she the physical strength to take on the taller boy before her. Standing at only a little over 5'2, the boy would tower over her. She had to rely on her wand, it must as well be her only option. She was aware that werewolves, like a few other non-human species, had strong senses, but still, she would be at an advantage if the boy's main's sense was cut off. Sight. With a wave of her wand, Aurelia would cast the blindfolding charm, "Obscuro!"

Kyle Swung and he missed. Blind swinging in anger was clearly not the best thing he could do here, the girl was quick. He needed to pick his punches and whatnot better. After all, as long as the girl had her wand she was going to be very dangerous. It was moments like this Kyle almost wished he didnt forget to bring his wand with him most days. It might have come in handy here. Then again, with her casting spells at an unarmed boy perhaps he might be able to weasel his way out of a detention if it came to that.
Just like in dodge ball all that time ago a thick black blindfold wrapped itself tightly around his face and he staggered and grunted as it secured itself fully and tightly around his face and he couldn't help but let out a frustrated and angry grunt as it did. While he remembered all too well that he needed to rip this thing from his head before he would be able to see again he wanted to try and give himself a free moment safe from her casting before he stood still and tried to rip the blindfold off. so
Tilting his head slightly to try and hear, though the blindfold didn't help there as it covered his ears partly too, he could still smell however and there was one thing in the shed that didnt smell like dirty quidditch gear or sweaty jerseys. He did his best to focus on where he thought the girl was and he set himself then threw a hard push kick, hoping for center mass, with his right foot.
