With the new school year finally here, and after and entire summer spent basically all of the time out in the open, Lydia, more than ever, feels the need to spend time in the open air. That, plus all of the different things that keep stressing her -her friends, her crush, her new discovered talents- makes it so that she needs a way to let out some of those feelings she's holding inside, a way so she can let her competitive side take over and she doesn't need to think too much about things.

So why not join the S.W.A.G. club? What could go wrong?

IC Reason why your character wishes to join the club: Ruby became increasingly angry in her second year, and it has only worsened in her third year, although it's become more refined and she is aware of it. This is a way that she could let some of it out without breaking rules. Additionally, she is interested in duelling/spellcasting and would not want to pass up an opportunity to improve at that.

IC Reason why your character wishes to join the club:Games? Groups? Well, normally Ileen would make sure that there would be a large distance between her and such happenings. But in the summer camp she agreed to a mission – it was her responsibility together with some other reasonable people to have a good influence on the school and like this she could jinx people without being punished. Also, Ruby pointed out that she could practice magic in different situations to be prepared for life. A valid reason to join a club – and she probably would get some opportunities to gain some healing experience… Also, of course, Dee talked her into it. It would be fun. Seriously, Ileen wouldn’t let Dee walk alone into these fatal group events…

IC Reason: A duelling game club? Pft. Adonis not joining said club? As if. This was exactly what he wanted and would need to keep his thirst for the duelling club tamed until it actual became a thing. But for this specific club there would seem to be so many different opportunities in how they would play their games and different environments to play said games at. This was right up Adonis' alley and he would gladly sign up for it.

IC Reason why your character wishes to join/continue being in the club | Thora was quite pleasantly surprised at how much she enjoyed S.W.A.G. club in her second year. Though it was admittedly slightly scary at times, the games were incredibly fun ─ and she enjoyed the opportunities to train her spellcasting ability outside of an official duel. S.W.A.G. offers a respite from the typical hustle and bustle of classes and endless work, which is, of course, much welcome as well. The previous year, everything was made so much brighter by the little things like S.W.A.G. club, which many of her friends had also joined, and Thora can't wait to see where it takes her this year.

"It's fascinating, really, and practical as well. As interesting as duelling is, I find it difficult to think that any conflict that we face is going to be so nicely aligned that we will be face it in such a controlled situation. This seems more realistic to the chaos we're actually likely to experience, and so a good opportunity to learn in such an environment."
