Friendly celebration pv bday finished

Henry still didn't know why he was there, two days ago he met with his father's family which resulted in a horrible turnout and Henry was still feeling the affects of it so then why was he standing in the leaky cauldron looking for Aurélie. He did promise the girl that he would come and would feel terrible if he didn't come later so here he was. As Henry looked around, he couldn't stop thinking about two days ago and what have happened with his father's family. Henry tried to push it from his mind but he couldn't as he looked around for Aurélie, Henry couldn't bring her day down but dwelling on his own problems but he couldn't forget them either.

Henry finally spotted the girl, alone at a table as Henry made his way to her thoughts started to enter his mind and refuse to leave, as he struggled with how that day will go now that the only thing he could think of was what happened two days ago. Henry was opposite the girl as he took out a poorly wrapped gift in brown, dirty parchment paper from his messager type bag as he spoke " happy birthday Aurélie, I hope I'm not too late," Henry placed the gift in front of the girl as he took off his messager type bag and place it on the ground next to his chair before taking a seat in front of Aurélie and speaking again " I'm sorry about the poor wrapping."

Henry gave the girl a simple smile as a few minutes after Henry order a drink but only one since his brother was only able to get him enough money for one, Henry didn't mind through he looked at the girl while saying " so how have you been? I barely seen you since the camp ended."

Aurélie was pulled from a daydream when Henry Knight popped up in front of her and placed a gift on the table. “Happy birthday Aurélie, I hope I’m not too late.” The boy took a seat opposite her and added: “I’m sorry about the poor wrapping.” The girl straightened herself from her sleepy position and a big grin appeared on her face. “Thank you! You’re not late at all. I’m glad you could make it, you’re the first one too.” Aurélie picked up the parcel wrapped in brown paper and investigated it. It felt quite heavy and had a rectangle shape. Maybe a book? She carefully pulled the string and paper off and revealed a book. Not any ordinary book though. It was a recipe book for Aurélie to write in. “Henry, this is beautiful! Thank you!” the birthday girl was over the moon. What a lovely and personal gift. She couldn’t imagine a nicer present than this. Aurélie quickly stood up from her seat, stepped toward Henry and hugged him as to say thank you once more.

The book looked like it may have been put together by Henry himself. It had ribbons, pieces of lace and other fabric attached to the front and on the cover was an apron made from several crafting materials. Aurélie walked back to her own seat and carefully placed the gift in her black bag. When a waiter came to the table with Henry’s drink, she was quick to grab some coins and pay for it. Of course, she didn’t want Henry to think she did it because he told her he was poor so she said resolute; “It’s my birthday so it’s my treat. End of story.” Aurélie winked at Henry and answered his question; “I’ve been good. It’s been calm at the bakery so I’ve had the chance to redecorate my room a little and prepare for Hogwarts. How about you? What have you been up to lately?”

Aurélie remembered she had treats in her backpack but decided to wait until the others showed up to get them out. If they showed up. The girl looked around the Leaky Cauldron. It wasn’t too busy that day but more people started filling the pub. Probably since it was near lunchtime and the wanted to have a meal or drink. She looked back at Henry and noticed he seemed to be somewhat distracted. As if his thoughts were somewhere else than the present. She didn’t say anything about it but took a mental note to keep an eye on him to make sure he was alright.

When Aurélie said that he wasn't late and was actually the first one there, Henry looked around and saw that no one else was there which made him feel a bit sad that no one else showed up before putting one smile as Aurélie opened the gift and seemed like she like it. Henry felt the girl hug him as she thanked him which made Henry wrapped the girl in a hug also as he spoke " no problem, I wanted to give you something personal but I didn't know what so I thought if this and decided to hand make it just for you," however after the two retook their seats, Henry's drink came and he was about to pay but Aurélie beat him to it as she spoke about being her treat and Henry smiled a bit as he spoke " alright then thanks, but then let me repay the favor by buying you ice cream later."

Henry the listened to the girl speak again as she spoke about her life at home and Henry quickly added " sounds like your summer was interesting and good," Henry then continued to listen to her and graze into her golden eyes which were really memorizing and when he heard her question Henry didn't know how to respond. Should he tell her the truth or lie, Henry ran a quick hand through his hair as he was debating it in his head and his mind was spiraling until finally he came up with his answer.

" Speaking of baking, I'm still looking forward to baking with you," Henry then smiled toward the girl as he continued " pour apprendre à cuisiner avec le boulanger doré," which was french for to learning how to bake with the golden baker something that Henry knew from learning the language. Henry the took what seemed to be a breath as he spoke " I also have been fine, not much has happened besides father being absent as usual for ministry business and spending more time with my brother and twin. Oh but I did meet my father's pureblood family which went horrible," Henry knew he could trust Aurélie with this and for some reason since they met he felt weirdly comfortable with the like he knew her his whole life so he continued " they didn't really want to reconnect just want to gain something so after some words were said we left and that's the end of it, I hope."

When Aurélie spoke about him making her the book and how there was more then meets the eye with Henry, he laughed before replying " I'm just creative, I enjoy making things like that. It's peaceful to me, I was going to make you a bracelet but thought that you would like the book better," Aurélie the mentioned about holding him to his promised and in which Henry replied " Yes golden baker Nimco," Henry laughed a bit as he took a slip of his butterbeer before placing it back on the the table and listening to Aurélie again as she spoke which Henry nodded to using the kitchen and asking the professor's but then Aurélie mentioned his family and talking to her in which Henry replied " I'll definitely take you up on that, just not today since it's about you," Henry felt her skin touch his which comforted him a bit before reaching over and grabbing her hand and lightly squeezing it.

Henry then let go as she spoke again this time bringing out a small package wrapped in green,
and when she was done Henry spoke " you really didn't need to get me anything but thank you," Henry then opened the package carefully and saw a black/yellow wolf pin which touched Henry's heart as he spoke " thank you so much, this is amazing. You are amazing, thank you so much," Henry then pinned it on to his faded greenish jacket before saying again " you said you have on right? Then these pins are a symbol of our friendship, as long as we have them we will never be a part or alone.

When Aurélie spoke about likening the gift and the effort he put into it, Henry just smiled as he spoke " it was nothing really,
anything for a friend like you Aurélie," Henry smiled at her as she talked about the pins and their mew meaning in which she showed him her own pin before he watched her pin it to her green jacket and speak again, in which Henry spoke " and now no matter what, through good and bad were know that we will always have a friend by are side as long ad we wear these pins. So Aurélie I promise you that I will never take it off," Henry smiled and he was generally happy that he was there with her instead of at home dwelling on his new found hidden life and family.

Henry found himself having a great time with Aurélie as he talked with her and laughed, it was one of the few times, no says where he got to be himself and just have fun. That day was definitely one to remember and he was glad that he went for her and his own benefit as well. Even through no one else showed, he was still happy that he was there with Aurélie and having a lot of fun with her, but time doesn't fly when you are having fun and soon his butterbeer was empty and Aurélie was talking about leaving.

Henry listened to Aurélie before putting his messager type bag on his shoulder and getting up from his seat, Henry then spoke " Right I better go to, it was nice seeing you Aurélie and thanks for the pin. Happy birthday Aurélie and see you at Hogwarts I guess," after a final goodbye Henry left the table before leaving the leaky cauldron and heading home.
