I Need to Tell You Something Solo

"I need to tell you something."
Rose's mom had sat her and her siblings down on the couch on the last day of summer break, a dead-serious look in her eye. Her and her siblings had been really really scared, wondering if they had done something wrong or if something horrible had happened. The air crackled with tension.
"You know how I told you Aunt Coco was my twin sister?"
We nodded slowly.
"I lied." she exhaled slowly.
We all murmured our "what?!"s but let her continue.
"She's my triplet. There was one more of us."
"What happened to them?" Jessica asked timidly.
My mother looked down. "Her name is Casseopia. She was always a rebel, and once she started dating a muggle-born... well, you know how Gramma and Papa were really strict purebloods for a while there?" She used the names we called our grandparents, her parents. "They were infuriated and they disowned her."
We all seemed to exhale in surprise at the same time. "That's horrible," I murmured.
"What does this have to do with us?" Frankie asked skeptically, taking the logical side, as always.
My mom's voice became less serious, and we relaxed. "She had a little girl. A little girl named Rayna Jangnan. And she... she is going into Hogwarts this year. Cass... Casseopia asked me to ask you to include her- she hasn't been around people much." Little did we know, that was underexaggerating it. She had barely been around people at all.
"What about me?" Jess put in. "I'm not going to Hogwarts this year."
"Next year, sweetie."
"You'll be there before you know it," I added, wrapping my arm around her waist.
"Fine, I'll be nice to her," Gabe said.
"Thank you, Gabriel." Wow, she really was being serious- she was using Gabe's full name- nobody did that except for our grandma.
"Of course I will," I smiled at my mom, looking forward to meeting my new cousin.
Once Faith and Frankie had put in their agreement, the conversation was finished.
'A new cousin... I wonder what she'll be like...'
