── ❋ ──𝓐madea was enjoying herself, simply sitting in the grass along with all of the animals. Most of the people were crowded around Alan, talking about who knew what, but Amadea was content just petting the cats and talking with Nova; even though she knew she probably looked quite odd, choosing to socialize with the animals rather than the people but she really didn't care.
Lady was plopped down in the grass next to her and as Amadea rubbed the cat's soft fur, she noticed that another cat was bounding over toward them. To whom the cat belonged was a mystery to Amadea, but it seemed so playful and happy. "Oh hello there!" Amadea said with a laugh, watching as the cat dropped its toy as it caught sight of the owl perched on Amadea's shoulder. "Oh this is Nova," she said, feeling a little stupid that she was talking to a cat that clearly didn't understand what she was saying. "You don't have to be scared of her, she won't bite." Amadea carefully bent toward the cat, wondering if it would run away or not. Before she could see, the owner had called the cat back and Amadea was left alone with Lady and Nova.
After a few minutes, Amadea decided to start heading out. It was a fun time being able to get to pet some cats and see some new people but she was ready to go back to the dorm. Too much socializing always tired her out and she didn't want to be completely beat; after all, she still had a lot of schoolwork to complete. Amadea stood, making sure Nova was still steadily perched on her shoulder and gave one last pat to Lady before she sought out Alan again.
"Hey, this was such a great idea," she said, walking back over to him and the rest of the group of people. "I have to head out but thanks again for hosting!" With one last smile and wave, Amadea walked back toward the castle.Exeunt Amadea.── ❋ ──

Interacting with: Everyone
The past week had been horribly busy for the professor. Alongside the other heads, she had made the decision to inform the students of what was happening around the castle and grounds - as well as enforce a new set of rules. With all of the tension in the air, students had been flooding through her office doors non-stop with their questions, their concerns and even more scarily, their own experiences. On top of that, they had hired two new members of staff - one of whom fell under her responsibility - and the headmaster had finally resurfaced, which was incredible but also his state of being was worrying and everything he said was horrifying. Not to mention the upcoming summer camp, the continuous potions that had to be brewed for the cursed students and everything else that seemed to be happening.
She sighed softly stepping outside the castle for the first time in the past few days, with her cat nestled in her arms. The fresh air was much needed. But more than that... Because she was mostly restricted to the dungeons at the present time or in meetings where she could not bring her beloved cat, Jeger was also stuck with her. Normally, he would wander around a little by himself but with everything going on, she tended to just leave him in her office.
Hjørdis dropped a quick kiss on the top of Jeger's head as she walked towards her destination. She had seen a playdate poster for pets, which seemed utterly adorable and a great thing for students to get involved in. It gave them the opportunity to get some fresh air and just have a bit of fun. Though, not everyone had a pet. The Slytherin was not one to normally trust students - or anyone really - with something she cared for. And since her cat was the one being that she loved more than anyone else in the world, it was almost uncharacteristic of her to even consider this idea. However... after everything the students had been through, she learned one valuable lesson. Sometimes, you just had to trust them. If she wanted the students to trust her and come to her for help, she needed to learn to trust them more. Jeger was capable of looking after himself too, in fairness.
Approaching the small group of animal lovers, she nodded politely in a greeting, "Good afternoon," Her eyes scanned the group. She recognised most of the students from previous events that she had run, as well as a member of her own house that she knew rather well. The boy had attended Sleep Yoga with the bengal he had nearby, if she was not wrong. "Jeger, here, has been itching to make some new friends but unfortunately, I have quite a bit of work to do. Would anyone mind looking after him for a bit?" She asked the group, motioning to the bengal in her own arms that had now perched up, looking around curiously.
Jeger was certainly a curious cat. He was around a year and a half old by now. Spending most of his life at Hogwarts, he was fairly familiar with the castle itself. He did not shy away from meeting new creatures, often offering them his own play toys if he had any - such as passing a ball to them. At first, he would reach out carefully with his paw and sniff them a little to see how they would react. But if they seemed approachable or friendly, he would engage with them. If they seemed uninterested after a few attempts, he would likely get bored and find something else to entertain him. But he did find everything intriguing. New people, new animals, new locations... Jeger's bright greenish blue eyes would scan the environment, taking in everything around.
The boy [ALAN] gave some sort of indication that it would be alright with him. Hjørdis nodded, placing him down by her feet, "Behave, little man," She warned her cat, who was slightly mischievous at times too. He had no shame in getting too close to people, "Thank you, I'll leave this little guy with you all then." She replied, after straightening her posture and nodding at them. Knowing Jeger, he would likely wander off after some time and return to her office if he got bored or they all headed back in too. However, if anyone wanted to carry him back in, she had no doubt that the little prince would be more than happy to snooze in their arms as they did the hard work. He might have been energetic and curious but... he was also rather spoiled - which was entirely her fault and she knew it - and would take being treated like a prince.
With that, she turned back to the castle and headed back to do some more work. Pausing for a moment to look over her shoulder, she smiled softly as she caught her cat's eyes and nodded. It was not long before, she noticed Jeger had immediately started to approach one of them in his usual curious nature.
OOC: Sorry I can't stay. Swamped with threads already but since I said I'd enter, this is the best I can do for now. Feel free to godmod Jeger and play with him if you want to.

The third year would smile slightly at the girl, softly and warmly as he thought about her words and question. "I am surrounded by animals, I don't think I could be doing any better than this," he would say with a chuckle as he called Tiger over after he was done playing and began to pat the little feline. "Scott did not feel like coming, but he told me to take Madleine with me," the chestnut haired boy would explain to @Amadea Campbell. As he listened to @Opeila Winters speak he would give another nod. "That is nice though, no? Having a cat I mean," he would ask the girl. He had not actually spoken a lot with Opeila before and only met her for a few moments. Once during the tea party and another time at the great lake as the sun rose. The third year would hear Tiger mewl and looked down at the feline to see that he was deprived of attention or at least he was a little jealous of the time he was spending talking to everyone but him which made the third year chuckle as he began to scratch the tom cat behind his ears until he finally gave up on complaining. He would greet @Katrina Walker with a nod and smile at her kitten before glancing around the perimeter to see if there was anyone else who arrived a little late. Sadly enough Amadea did not stay for long but that was alright as it seemed like she had somewhere else to be as well. Right?
Alan had not expected a professor to join them, but he assumed that it made sense because professors too had pets after all and the third year was a little happy and proud to see that his little event had caught attention even with the professors. A smile formed on his face as he quickly got up, with Tiger still on his arms. "Sure, I would love to keep an eye on him!" he chirped happily as he approached the professor. He would shift his weight so that he carried Tiger on his one arm and was able to bend down at the same time to offer his hand to Jeger so that he could scratch him under his chin. It was as if he had practice in animal handling and in a way the third year did but that was not all too important. He also simply loved animals and heard and read a lot about them. Books about animals were about the only thing he really enjoyed reading, that and reading about mysteries. He had read one of the books that Flash had gotten for him and had liked it quite a bit even though it had taken him a lot of time until he had finally finished reading through it.
"I will return him to you safely, professor," the third year would promise the head of house and gave a reassuring nod as if to mark his word as more accurate and a proud smile on his face as he turned to face back towards the group of students. Alan was quite happy with how this day had gone and was happy to learn more about the other student's pets and the little man the professor had dropped off. Alan would set Tiger down who in an instant would move over to greet the new cat that looked similarly to himself.
