Meeting of two?

When tasked with finding a place for a meeting, Miranda's first thought was always, why don't we have it outside? In the sun and fresh air? Unfortunantly, for this meeting that wouldn't be possible. The weather hadn't cooperated in the least, what with the sudden gales and overcast sky. Therefor, she'd been forced to move the meeting inside, into the second best spot: the library. Well, if you could even call it a meeting. When one used that word, they typically meant a large group of people. This time, there would only be two. Miranda, and @Henry Knight.
That was why she found herself meandering through the library in search of an empty table, shooting looks at the windows, which revealed cloudy skies and wind-blown trees. The library was unusually full, but with all of the available space, it didn't really seem like it. The librarian kept the peace as usual, so only the occasional voice or crash of fallen books betrayed the presence of others, as long as you found a relatively secluded corner. Which was what Miranda's goal was.
She passed several tables, but all were occupied, and she wanted privacy for the "meeting". As a result, Miranda was forced deeper and deeper into the myriad of shelves. Luckily she'd had the foresight to send a message to Henry telling him to meet her in the west corner. The only unfortunate part of that was that if even those tables all ended up being taken, she'd have to wait around for him to arrive before choosing a place to sit.
But Miranda was lucky. A table almost exactly in the corner was empty of any other students. A perfect place to meet up, in her opinion. Yes, it was secluded. Yes, it was out of the way. But that was what she wanted for the moment. She took a seat, taking a small notepad from her jacket pocket as she did. While Miranda waited, she scribbled notes in it idly, her gaze torn between the words she wrote and the surrounding library, watching for Henry to arrive.

Henry would have preferred to be outside or alone with his thoughts but sadly enough the day wasn't the best to be outside and Henry had to meet Miranda in the library to talk about their club; the pack and it's first meeting. Henry didn't mind meeting Miranda and he didn't mind discussing their club either, in fact Henry loved their club which was for werewolves at Hogwarts like Miranda and Henry. Henry smiled as he remembered when Miranda first told him about the idea, last year and now he was the leader of it with Miranda but sadly it turns out not many people were as proud as Miranda to be a werewolf. In fact many of their club members felt awkward or like they are monster because of it, Henry used to feel that way but after meeting Miranda he was how proud of it.
Henry made his way through the library which was surprisingly crowded that day but he remembered that Miranda told him in advanced to meet in the west corner which is where he went. Henry made his way past other tables filled with students and hoed that Miranda was able to find a empty table for them to talk about the club. That's when Henry saw her at a table, all by herself and Henry approach her as he spoke " hey, ready to start?" Henry took a seat facing Miranda as he then remembered that they were dating now or secret dating which Henry hoped wouldn't become a problem.

At first, Miranda didn't even notice that Henry had arrived. She was too scrawling a rough outline of a wolf in a black space on her notebook. If anyone were to look at the open page, they'd see a large amount of cramped writing, underlined by her drawing-in-progress. Most of the writing was about ideas for the Pack club they'd started, along with random facts about werewolves she'd found in various books. All in all, it was quite a mess, but Miranda didn't seem intent on cleaning it up anytime soon. It held information - that was all that really mattered for the moment.
When Henry spoke up, she jumped slightly, although managed to mask the fact quite well, unless someone was watching her closely. "Sorry, I didn't notice you were there," Miranda apologized, just in case he had noticed. She then grinned. "And yes, I'm definitely ready. I honestly can't wait to get the club up and running, and to let other werewolves get a chance to feel at home with others of their kind."
She set her pencil down on top of her notepad (Miranda always found quills tiresome when it came to drawing), covering the wolf's lower body along with a small note about werewolf senses.

Henry listened to Miranda and agreed with her completely as he accidentally looked at her notebook and saw a sketch of a wolf that really quite good that Henry quickly said " nice drawing," before taking an notebook from an pocket on the inside of his own jacket and flipping to an page that was mark with small and cramped notes most actually all of it was about their newly formed club for werewolves. Henry placed his notebook on the table and looked at his minuscule and cramped writing, around half the book had the same style of writing and it was all on their club for werewolves which they have decided to call it the pack for obvious reasons of course.
" So I thought we should start with the most popular topic which is most werewolves at the school aren't proud of being one but instead they feel like monsters and try the hide the fact," Henry actually felt that way for a bit but after meeting Miranda he to was now a bit proud of being a werewolf and actually loved it when he transformed besides the part where he experienced the painful transformation something that Henry wanted to do something about for him and also others. Henry then smiled as he tried not to think of them dating at the moment while he continued " maybe we can start the meeting in a way where if they need to talk or have any problems with this furry problem then they could talk to one of us whenever they like. Also maybe we should also talk about how they shouldn't feel like monsters and they don't exactly have to be proud of it either. Just they shouldn't hate themselves for it."

@Henry Knight"Thanks," Miranda replied, glancing down at her half-finished work. She then looked up and peered over at Henry's notebook, which was filled with equally cramped writing that made her feel a bit better about the general illegibility she had in her notepad.
She listened as he proposed his idea, although couldn't help laughing silently at the words "furry problem". It was an interesting, but albeit quite correct way to sum up their curse. "I totally agree," Miranda said once he was done. "A lot of the first year werewolves are relatively new to this whole thing, so I'm sure they haven't had the time, nor the support needed to... come to terms with their condition." She winced slightly, remembering the bleak times she'd gone through when she'd felt like an abomination. Fortunately, that had been many years ago. She was more used to the idea now. And it had helped that she'd had a brother who'd, for the most part, accepted her as she was. Although they generally avoided the topic altogether.
Miranda snuck a glance at Henry, then stared back down at her notepad, tracing the contours of the words she'd written with her eyes. Honestly, she was a bit worried about whether the other werewolves might not want to end up accepting their lupine side. What if they'd rather hold it at arm's length ad ignore it whenever they were able? That might end up being a problem, but hopefully one they could solve.

Henry listened and agreed with Miranda completely as he nodded in agreement with her and waited for her to finish speaking. When she finished, he spoke up " yes definitely and also maybe a few other years still haven't come to term with their furry problem also," Henry thought of his friend Altair who was a second year and werewolf like him but she also seem to take her problem to heart and she looked like she thought herself like a monster or hid that she was a werewolf from mostly everyone else. Henry then remembered Aurélie who would be a first year this year and she also was abut wearily of being an werewolf but she didn't view herself as a monster and in fact both of them had the same options of werewolves which made Henry think of Aurélie for a bit.
Henry couldn't take his mind after the girl, who had golden type eyes and smooth coco skin but then Henry remembered Miranda and that they were dating so Henry smelled himself out of it and wonder why he was thinking of Aurélie before looking down at his notes for a few minutes. After Henry looked back at Miranda and spoke " so maybe in the first couple of meetings we do mention feelings proud of this fury problem but instead say that they shouldn't feel like a monster or blame themselves because of this," Henry hoped that Miranda wouldn't fight him on this or ruin their relationship because of it as he continued " also we should create this club to be sort of like a safe place for the members. So they could come and talk about how their dealing with this problem and know that their not being judged or misunderstood. "

@Henry Knight"True," Miranda replied, some of her worry showing on her face. It seemed most people she knew of didn't like their affliction - well, no, that was the wrong way to say it. Miranda didn't necessarily love it either, but she'd come to terms with the fact that she was different, and now accepted it. Otherwise, she probably would've sunk into despair years ago. "I guess we'll just apply that to everyone, keep it as a general statement and all that." She eyed her notepad, then picked up her pencil and colored in a part of the wolf's eye.
When Henry started speaking again, she set down the writing utensil and watched him, trying - and failing - to keep her thoughts from wandering back to a certain time in the courtyard not that long ago. But then Miranda managed to pull herself back and answer the question. That was, after all, the reason they were here. To help the other lycanthropes of the school.
"A safe place sounds good. And it would be better not to pressure the others to accept themselves as they are, mostly because I'm sure they've already encountered plenty of prejudice already, and it may have tainted the way they see their affliction. And for the ones who haven't yet, I'll bet the memory of the night they were turned is still fresh in their mind. That doesn't make it any easier either. I mean, it took me months to stop freaking out over the fact." Miranda paused to take a breath, but didn't continue. Instead, she waited to see what Henry would say.

Henry listened to Miranda and nodded in agreement as he spoke " yeah both factors are definitely a reason to consider and also different people to, since some may need a but more time to cope and try to see past their fury problem while others may need less time," after hearing it took Miranda months to get over the fact of being a werewolf he then added " it may have been months for you but it took me two whole years to get over the fact. Granted I was 6 and my father would lock me in this basement type room under the house but still it was wrong to deal with. Even after I didn't tell anyone and kept it to myself, but after I met someone at Hogwarts that changed," Henry smiled at Miranda and lightly brushed his handed against hers to let it know that it was her but what the 12 year old did not know is that lightly brush of hands now have many more meanings now that they were in a relationship.
Henry then looked back at his notes and read them for a few minutes before looking back at Miranda's lake like blue eyes and speaking " also we should hold meetings in the shack and especially for first years, we should do a meeting or two with what to expect the night of a full moon and how to deal with stating confine inside the shack," Henry had a few memories from last year during his first few transformations where a professor walked him to the whomping willow then sort of just left him and he had no one to talk to before or after which was a bit sad and lonely.
After a few minutes Henry then spoke " so the first full moon already happened on the 3rd, so when should we hold our first meeting?"

@Henry Knight No worries!Miranda couldn't help but wince slightly when she heard that Henry had spent years trying to accept his condition. That sounded...torturous. But maybe it had gone better with both of his siblings to rely on for help? Maybe? Miranda wasn't sure, but she didn't want to ask. Not everything was meant to be answered, after all. This was most likely one of those times.
When he brushed his hand against hers, Miranda found herself unconsciously leaning into the contact, although she pretended not to notice. Instead, she focused on his words, even though she couldn't help feeling a small bit of joy. "That's...new." She smiled up at him, her expression playful. "I guess I'll do well at this, then, if I already have the experience."
"If they even want company, that is," Miranda added worriedly after Henry spoke up about another idea, her temporary playfulness concealed. "I mean, if they don't like the condition at all, they might not want others to see them "changed", even if those others are werewolves like them." That thought had been a recurring worry of hers that she hoped wouldn't come to pass. "But for the others...yes, I agree. That would be a great idea, and probably help loads in the way of getting them used to their furry problem, as you put it. And it would help ensure that no one tries to leave without permission...which could be disastrous."
There was a pause between topics, before Henry brought up the next question. This time Miranda spent a little bit longer considering it. "Possibly not too close to the full moon for the first time, just because I think we know from experience that full moons tend to set lycanthropes on edge. And that wouldn't exactly be beneficial to calming everyone down. The next full moon is on the first of October, then the thirty-first after that. So maybe partway through October? The only problem is that that's a ways away, but our only other option is to have it in a few days, maybe less." She shrugged. "Or we could hold it closer to a full moon. That could possibly give us some conversation options. Either that, or our first meeting is on the full moon. In the Shrieking Shack."
