It's definitely you being an optimist, seeing as realist is just another word for pessimist. And you're a literal ruby to me, so that ought to count for something. I see your point though. My parents have odd motives for so many of the things they do, so who knows what their reasoning behind my millions of middle names was?

You won't just have a room full of macarons, you shall have a house full! You should just go ahead and have your parents buy another house or possibly two specifically for me to fill with macarons.

I can absolutely forgive the possibility of murder due to her cuteness. She's just so cute, and most of the time, her insanity is more amusing than anything else. My father disagrees, but even my mother and our elf think her cuteness far outweighs all else. She's eating a lot more, lately, and I wonder if she's about to grow again. She's almost 7 months old, so she'll be growing for a while still, but she's gotten so much bigger than that tiny kitten she was when I got her.

I'd rather fly so I can practice for Quidditch tryouts this fall. My father isn't too fond of the idea of me getting on the house team, but my mother's alright enough with it that she lets me practice a bit. Not nearly as much as I'd like. I can't draw to save my life. I mean, I can, but everything always looks quite stiff and odd, and it always takes far longer than I would like it to. I might sew a bit more since my embroidery is fairly decent and it's not quite as tedious as some of the other things my parents support me doing.

I'm fully confident Jaz would eat the Snitch. I really need pet Quidditch now. Well, maybe the pygmy puffs and rats ought to have a separate game, since Jaz and I imagine a fair amount of the other cats would think that they were snacks and not opponents. I think cats could stay on their brooms pretty well, but I may have to test that out.

Oh, boo, that's no fun, and all the more reason to smack him. Smack him in the morning and run away. Please, it would be really funny and I think that it 100% go well. Of course, Alexei was causing a commotion... It's probably the same Alexei. He makes my language look angelic, honestly. Some of the Russian curse words he taught me...

I suppose I could check on Jaz, but then I lose my train of thought, and also one time, I set my quill down and she stole it and made quite the mess with my ink, so I try to write quickly and then hunt her down. She's fairly good about not destroying my things, but my parents' things seem to be fair game for her.

So, how was the stargazing, by the well? Please tell me all about that in your next letter! I don't actually have to run, since Jaz is being quiet, but she's been very quiet for the past few minutes, which is more concerning than her being loud, so I'm going to go check on her!
