It is getting late, Miranda realized, glancing up at the sky, which was definitely darker than it had been when they started talking. I didn't really pay attention...I guess we should get back before we risk curfew. She sighed, then looked back at Henry.
"...I think so," Miranda agreed hesitantly, glancing around the courtyard, which had gradually emptied while they'd been speaking. She hadn't realized that much time had passed. In fact, she was still reeling from the speed in which the encounter had progressed, at least to her. She smiled up at Henry, then took a single step back, turning to go.
"I'll see you later!" she called over her shoulder as she started walking towards the castle doors. She would have said more, but found herself at a loss for words and simply fled. There was so much to think about after that encounter...so many things to worry about. It was a daunting thought, but also tinged with excitement.
Miranda found herself spinning through the possibilities as she started the walk to the tower in which the Ravenclaw dorm was situated. Things could end up souring, a fact she was painfully aware of...but they could also get so much better, even though they seemed so good already.

Henry listened to Miranda speak and when she finished, he then spoke up "alright, okay. Uh bye, see you around then Miranda," His words sounded a bit awkward as he spoke to Miranda and the waved to her as he watched her walk from the courtyard and back inside the castle where Henry thought she was going back to her common room, the ravenclaw common room. For the first since his second year started he wanted nothing more than to be a ravenclaw with Miranda, he now wished that the sorting hat placed him in ravenclaw instead of slytherin just so he could have more time to spend with Miranda who was now his girlfriend.
Girlfriend, had a weird ring to it as Henry stood in that courtyard thinking about that word and how he would be the best boyfriend that Miranda would have. He scanned the courtyard to be sure that no one was listening into their conversation or knew that they were dating since they both agreed to keep this a secret at least until they were older or knew that they were doing which the 12 year old decided it won't be snogging every 5 minutes or sort like what Arthur did. Henry did walked out of the courtyard and into the castle with a smile upon his face, as be made his way to the slytherin common room he now had hope things would get better and a new outlook on life.
