Saturday Studying PV Henry Knight Finished

Henry listened to Robert talking about his parents and felt intrigued by it, once he was finished Henry quicky spoke " that's very cool, I read about those types of sciences in a muggle book or two. And I found them very interesting, your lucky." Henry smiled at the boy as he continued to speak which made Henry's heart fell a bit when he asked what his own parents did, Henry's family wasn't a topic the boy wanted to talked about especially if it included his father but he shook away the thought and spoke " my father works for the beast division of the magical creature department at the ministry of magic," Henry thought it might be a but odd if he just mentioned his father so Henry continued " my older brother is also in training to become a auror," remembering that Robert may not know what that is he explained, " a auror is tasked with catching dark wizards or preventing crimes sort of. Their sort if the equivalent of muggle police, I think."

Henry didn't know many muggle things first hand so he wasn't sure if auror's were equivalent to anything in the muggle world but then Henry thought of the boy's first question and so he spoke again " I know I couldn't answer your first question but what if we partner up and research and experiment what actually is magic and try to find out the answer to your question," smiling and really enjoying his idea Henry continued " with your knowledge on the muggle science and mine on the wizarding world I'm sure we will get a answer." Henry then remembered the purpose of his conversation as he spoke again " about the muggle world, what exactly is electronics and how do they work? Also I heard some kids say something about goggle or google I think?" Henry then spoke again real quickly " I never had experience the muggle world firsthand because my father is from a pureblood family that I never met so he never experienced the muggle world either. Do you have any questions about the wizarding one or anymore?"

Henry listened to Robert's explanation of muggle electronics and google, and once he was finished Henry spoke " that makes sense, sort of," Henry was trying to think of what the boy just said but it was hard since he never really explained the muggle world before as he spoke again " I use light bulbs at home, by the way. Just not computers or fones, uh phones which those are I don't know. But your explanation really was great." Henry smiled at the boy as he asked what quidditch was which got Henry a bit excited, even through he wasn't big on the sport itself. Henry still liked it because his mum played for the team when she was at Hogwarts and since she died, Henry felt like he was with her again when he was flying on a broom or playing quidditch.

" Sure, quidditch is easy enough to understand. It's the wizarding sport, almost everyone knows it sort of like how futball or football is the muggle sport," Henry paused while he took a breath before continuing " quidditch has teams of 7 players who play on the field at a time, anymore and their known as backup players. The backup players only get to play if a player gets knocked unconscious or gets too badly injured to play." Henry figured that Robert wouldn't probably like quidditch how but he continued " quidditch is played on brooms, high in the sky. Each side has three hoops, where the other team tries to score through the hoops to get a point," Henry paused again as he didn't want to confuse Robert before continuing " in each team of 7, there are 3 chasers, 2 beaters, 1 keeper and 1 seeker. Are you with me so far?"

Henry waited for Robert to answer before continuing " there are also three balls that are played in the game, which are the Quaffle, Bludger,
and the snitch," Henry took another short pause before continuing " the chasers are in charge of scoring through the three hoops of the opposite side with the Quaffle and each goal is worth 10 points. While the Keeper is charge of defending the three hoops and blocking the Quaffle from scoring into their hoops." Henry paused so that Robert didn't get confused before continuing " the beaters however use the bludger and the bats and they try to knock the other team off their brooms or defend their teammates from the Bludgers."

Henry looked at Robert and hoped that he didn't have any negative opinions about quidditch as he spoke " then lastly there's the seeker, the seeker is in charged of looking for the tiny and fast golden ball called the snitch. Once a seeker finds and catches the snitch then that ends the game and earns their team 150 point. Which also means that the team whose seeker catches the snitch more than likely wins the game," Henry took a paused as he spoke again " any questions?"

Henry then smiled as he had a idea, which he then would say " I'm actually going to tryout for keeper of the slytherin team. Each house had their own quidditch team," Henry took a breath before continuing " maybe we can meet on the pitch, uh the quidditch field is called pitch, maybe we can meet their and I can show you some firsthand or on hand experience?"

Henry smiled as Robert spoke and when he finished he spoke " thanks and I normally don't play sports either. I'm just trying out because my mum was on the ravenclaw team and it would be something to remember by," Henry paused then spoke again " she died when I was younger by the way." Henry took a breath then thought of lightning the mood as he spoke " my twin is also making me tryout so there's that," Henry laughed a bit as he thought maybe he should ask what house Robert was in not that he cared but it was a normal topic so Henry spoke " not that it matters but house are you in? Doesn't everyone ask that, I don't really care I just thought I'll ask."

Henry then thought for a few minutes before speaking again" everything matters in quidditch but usually who ever catches the snitch wins the game but you actually got it wrong, the seekers try to find and catch the snitch as fast as possible and before the other seeker." Henry took a pause before continuing " also the snitch is wicked fast and hard to catch or find so that also makes it difficult for them, not to mention that the seekers are the most likely targets of the beaters and the ones who get bloody up the most in a game." Henry looked at Robert before speaking again " any more questions about quidditch or the wizarding world?" Henry waited for him to speak before saying himself " also what is this thing that I hear some muggle kids by me say or some here at Hogwarts say, I'm pretty sure it's pronounced movies and video games?"

Henry now saw the boy's ravenclaw robes and laughed a bit as he spoke " sorry I must have missed your robes but it doesn't really matter since everyone has friends in different houses," Henry then remembered something that he laughed at a bit as he spoke " the sorting hat was actually seriously considering putting me in ravenclaw." Henry then heard Robert explain the concept of movies and video games and Henry was still a bit confused about the process but he got some or half of it as he replied to Robert " most of it I was able to follow. What if I say my favorite thing about the wizarding world and you say yours about the muggle world?"

Henry waited for him to reply before hearing that he wanted to sort through his books so Henry laid all the boy's books in the table and started to look at them. Henry then picked up three books that were entitled; fantastic beasts and to find them, new theory of numerology, and dark forces: a guide to self protection, and placed them in a pile on their left as he spoke " theses three are good unlike these two," Henry then picked up the gilderoy lockhart travel with hags and gilderoy lockhart wandering with werewolves in a pile on their right as he spoke again " you won't learn anything about there two books, gilderoy lockhart isn't that much of a reliable source."

Henry then placed three more books in the left pile that were entitled; Handbook of Hippogriff Psychology, Blood Brothers: My Life Amongst the Vampires, and Magical Water Plants of the Highland Lochs, as he spoke " the left pile is the books that are reliable and the right are the ones that you won't learn anything from," Henry then placed four more books into the left pile that are entitled; Magical Mediterranean Water-Plants and Their Properties, Achievements in Charming, Chadwick's Charms: Volumes I - VII, and Practical Defensive Magic and Its Use Against the Dark Arts. Henry then looked at the remaining books and added five more books to the left pile that were entitled; Protection Charm Your Mind: A Practical Guide to Counter Legilimensy, Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration, Guide to Advanced Transfiguration, Book of Charms & Spells, and Alchemy, Ancient Art and Science.

Henry then looked at the remaining books and added three more to the right pile that were entitled; travels with trolls and year with the yeti both by gilderoy lockhart, and also Cooking the Muggle Way. Henry then added four more books to the left pile that are entitled; Advanced Potion-Making, Magical Drafts and Potions, Cram It!: How to Soar on Your O.W.L.s, and Magical Theory. Before adding the rest of the books into the right pile as he spoke " your not going to need any books on muggle studies,
or werewolves because most of the books on them is biased and wrong and also-" Henry paused to think before making up his mind and saying " I'm a werewolf but I won't hurt you so any questions about them I can answer for you."

Henry listened to Robert talk about his favorite muggle thing which turn out to be a computer, as he explain it Henry got a lot more curious and had so many questions on it since to the pureblood boy it seem sort of impossible or ridiculous but when he was done however Henry kept his questions to himself somehow and when he opened his mouth to speak, there was no long and spiraling river of questions just one reply " that sounds cool and helpful, for sure. You definitely need to show me your uh computer, during the holidays." Henry then thought about his favorite thing about the wizarding world which was hard since the 12 year old mostly occupied his time with books or magical creatures which were two of his favorite things and anything else was also consider muggle hobbies to so he had to think a bit before be could answer.

" My favorite thing about the wizarding world is probably the floo network," Henry then started to explain the floo to Robert before he could ask " the floo network is sorry of like a passage or street that connects every wizarding place and house together which can also include muggle homes to. It works in a fireplace with this powder, all you do is you take some of the powder then step into the fireplace then state clearly and loudly where you want to go which then you travel up the fireplace and through these tunnels almost before shooting you down in the fireplace of your desired place." After a few minutes Henry then saw how weird that could be so he spoke again " I could show you the powder and how the floo network works firsthand if you like? Also if you want, with both of our brains and smarts I'm sure we can find out what exactly magic is. That is if you want to become partners?"

Henry then heard him ask about being a werewolf and replied " there's a lot I still have to tell you so maybe we meet again sometime," Henry then smiled as he continued " but I became a werewolf because when I was 6 during on full moon a duo of werewolves attack me. They starch me along my chest and turn me into one, I won't hurt you and with a certain potion I can even keep my mind when I transform every full moon so I don't hurt anyone. Any questions?"
