Quidditch Talk
Crystal said she had an Older Brother and that he was on the quidditch team. She then asked about what being in Ireland was like and Mae definitely knew what to say. She then asked if they wanted to take a broom and try and fly on it, which Mae did want to do because she had signed up for her team and was going to need the feel of it.
"Well Dublin is very nice it's like your average city, some parts of Ireland have hills and are wonderful looking spots, like Austria but nicer, we have a county in Ireland called Cork where most of the people's voices there are higher pitched, and depending on where you go people have different sayings,"
Mae said informatively, she took pride in her country like most Irish people.
"Also about riding the brooms, I do think it would be a good idea, seeing as I signed up for my own Quidditch team to be a seeker, and seeing as I barely know how to ride a broom it's turning into a not super good idea,"
Mae said a bit embarrassed, she knew that if she wanted to be a seeker she was going to need to go fast and that she would need a lot of control.

Crystal looked at her confused.
“You said you wanted to be on your house team correct?”
Crystal looked at Mae, she didn’t see anything wrong with flying a broom without a teacher, nor did it say anything about it in the rules.
Crystal saw no problem she knew a lot about the flying and turning the tricky part was getting on the broom.
Crystal remembered that she had gotten a model of the Numbius 2000 but a Numbius 2001 is what she wanted. The sleek design allowed the rider to cut through air like an arrow especially diving.
And it’s speed, she has never seen the speed of one broom go so fast.
She turned to Mae again .
“I understand if you don’t want to but there is nothing in the rules saying that we can’t fly our brooms besides, I will help you, my brother taught me everything I know.”
Crystal have Mae a reassuring look, as if to calm her down.
Crystal didn’t have a broom yet but her birthday was coming up and she was hoping to get a broom, her Numbius 2001.....

Crystal asked Mae,
"You want to be on your house team?"
With which Mae definitely wanted to say yes and wished she could just be a bit better.
Crystal then told Mae that she can help her ride the broom since her brother taught her everything she knew, and that they could use the school ones. It was technically in the rules that they couldn't fly without permission, but Mae thought to herself that they are only using school brooms and not super good brooms.
"Yeah we could go practice, and it would be nice to know how to fly, just in case I do make it onto my team,"
Mae said slightly nerved, only cause she didn't know what it was like to fly.
"I mean I know it's in the rules that we can't fly without a teacher, but technically we are using school brooms, so we won't necessarily get into trouble?"
Mae asked sounding very uncertain in her question. She did desperately want to know what it's like to fly, after all the flying teacher only told them to go off the ground. She knew she didn't need to go as fast as possible or super high, but it would just be nice for the feel.
"I mean we don't have to go super high or fast so we won't get into as much trouble,"
Mae said with a slight smile. She wasn't as worried because she thought that only the worst they could do would be detention, after all they could plead first years and not knowing any better. Mae liked the little bit of the mischievous side she had, but at the same time didn't want to be know as the First ever First Year to get kicked out of school.

Crystal looked at Mae and shrugged.
“I just asked, not like I was forcing you to do so, but it would be fun, I hustled asked.”
Crystal looked at Mae and smiled.
She applauded Mae, she wasn’t like other people who just follow anyone, they aren’t like leaders.
But hey at least she asked.
Crystal snapped out of her thoughts and looked at Mae.
“So, who do you think is gonna try and beat you to the Quidditch spot? As a seeker I believe.... bet ya no one! Because I think you will be amazing in the air! With your broom! And say what broom do you like?”
Crystal dozed off again and started thinking about that Nimbus 2001, her flying on that broom zooming through the air and hearing the crowds call out her name.
‘Crystal, Crystal! CRYSTAL!’
She smiled and didn’t leave her zone.
With her robes following behind her on that broom, and the other chasers trying to catch her the other team wouldn’t stand a chance.
And when she gets all the goals her team and house wins as the seeker catches the snitch. And the opposing team loses and drowns in their own shame, as they didn’t practice their game play, or train harder.

"I just asked, not like I was forcing you to do so, but it would be fun,"
Mae was thankful that Crystal's question wasn't like an interrogation, which back home she was used to due to the fact she had 3 siblings now 4. Crystal then seemed to take away from the question told Mae this
“So, who do you think is gonna try and beat you to the Quidditch spot? As a seeker I believe.... bet ya no one! Because I think you will be amazing in the air! With your broom! And say what broom do you like?”
Mae had seen how many people chose seeker and for certain she was nervous who would get the spot. It was nice that Crystal had thought that Mae would be good in the air, encouragement was just what she needed. She then asked her what type of broom that she wanted. Mae knew it was a bit old fashioned but she had always wanted a Nimbus 2000. From the time she got into Hogwarts she did her research on some famous wizards who went there before her, she (like most witches and wizards) enjoyed reading and talking about the very famous Harry Potter. It was a crazy dream of Mae's but she immediately wished she could be like him and be the seeker for her team.
"I think alot of people will try and Beat me out for seeker, it was really popular at tryouts. I hope I do pretty well in the air and I know it sounds crazy but ever since my time here at Hogwarts I have always wanted to become like Harry Potter and be a seeker for my team, so for the broom a Nimbus 2000, I mean yes I know it's old but c'mon wasn't it the most popular think back then,".
Mae said responding to Crystal's many questions.

“Harry Potter? Who on earth is he?”
Crystal looked at her dumbfounded she never heard of Harry Potter, due to the fact that in Scotland the big talk in the wizarding world was Qudditch, and Magic that’s about it.
Being raised in Scotland, she never learn a lot about the wizards and witches that came here or even who they where her parents didn’t have a lot of money, and they didn’t have history books.
“I thought it was a fire bolt he rid on, my brother told me he was the youngest Gryffindor to play as a seeker, and he was the best of the best. And a Numbius 2000 is cool, I’ve seen them before but the broom that I really want and will allow me to cut through the air like a bullet, is the Nimbus 2001! I know it’s old fashioned but..... it’s so fast! My god just being on one of those things would make my day!”
Crystal smiled.

She wanted to try to win the Quidditch cup for her house, she wasn’t going to lose, and nor was she going to let someone take her position she would take the chaser position and probably be the best there.

"Harry Potter? Who on Earth is he?" Crystal said to Mae. Mae was slightly dumbfounded. Well she really couldn't be because the tale of Harry Potter had been so long ago and maybe where she lived it wasn't the biggest thing. Crystal then went on to say,
“I thought it was a fire bolt he rid on, my brother told me he was the youngest Gryffindor to play as a seeker, and he was the best of the best. And a Numbius 2000 is cool, I’ve seen them before but the broom that I really want and will allow me to cut through the air like a bullet, is the Nimbus 2001! I know it’s old fashioned but..... it’s so fast! My god just being on one of those things would make my day!”. That was cool to Mae and then she realized that she was a bit wrong herself his first broom was the Nimbus.
"Oh cool, yeah I think his first broom was the Nimbus, and it's kinda cool you want one, but I swear I wish that brooms were so expensive,"
