Little Adventures
Bella follows as Henry leads them through the different corridors, a constant maze. She could hear the faint chatter of other students, all of them excitedly chatting amongst themselves. Hopefully one day she would have a big group of friends to do the same with. She listened as Henry asked her how Hogwarts had been so far answering happily, "it's been great! Better than I thought actually.". She notices his nerves once again, clearly unsure of what else to say; she could almost see his brain working, looking for a reply.
Finally he replies, Bella listens whilst also sneaking glances around the corridor at all the furniture scattered neatly around. She smiles at him once he finishes, "it's fine, I'm quite similar honestly. I have gotten slowly better though." she begins, thinking of what she loved doing in her free time.
"I love reading, always carry one with me and find any time I can to read. I also know how to play the piano, but I don't play it as much any more. What about you? What do you like doing?" Bella finishes, hoping to calm his nerves by asking more about him. She tucks a piece of her red hair behind her ear, thinking of the book that is safely in her bag.

Little Adventures
Henry listened to the girl and smiled as she spoke, he looked up as they came down another corridor and making sure to turn right this time. Henry then looked at Bella it ensure she was still keeping up with him before he spoke " that's good that Hogwarts is good for you so far and your hobbies sounds boldly brilliant," Henry then paused for a moment to think of his own hobbies before speaking again " I also enjoy reading and studying, I guess but I'm just a nutter," Henry chuckled a bit at his comment before continuing " but I also love magical and non-magical creatures, and I also play piano but not that much anymore. I mostly play violin, oh I also enjoy photography maybe I can show you some of my pictures some time." Henry smiled at the girl before looking forward again as a couple students passed them and as they passed windows where the sun shone through and lit up different areas like a spotlight sort of. Henry could feel himself relaxing but he still had his ever looming anxiety which never went away, unless he worked on it but he wouldn't well not yet as he spoke again " so do you have any siblings? Did they or do they go to Hogwarts as well?"

She smiles at the mention of Henry showing his pictures to Bella, "that sounds interesting! I would love to look at them sometime.". She had never gotten into photography herself, she often felt the best moments can be captured by memory; though she never judged anyone on their interests and opinions.
Her eyes admire the sun beaming through to the corridor, casting beautiful shadows everywhere. She glances towards Henry and in front of her, making sure she both didn't trip nor lose him. One of her biggest problems was getting lost in thought, she always blames that on the books. At the thought her hand instinctively goes onto her bag, checking for her book. There have been numerous times she went into a panic thinking she had lost her book.
Bella listens to Henry's next question, a sadness sweeping over her. "I-uh, I'm actually an only child. My parents couldn't have any more children after me." a sad smile escapes her, her mother drifting her mind. If she were still here would they have had another child? Or was Bella enough?
She had often asked her father about her mother, maybe that should be her next question. She makes a mental note for her next owl to her father.

Henry listened to Bella speak and felt even worse when he asked about her siblings that for a while he just walked in silence down the corridor before saying " sorry to bring up your siblings but there are still perks to being a only child," while Henry wasn't he did have friends that were only children so he spoke again " you probably get to spend more time with them and have more attention from them to." Henry smiled at her and hoped he said the right things as he continued to walk and then spoke again " and also no one at Hogwarts compares you to anyone. My older brother graduated from here a year before I started and the professor's still remind me of his brilliantness and success.
He was a prefect and head boy two things I always hear so it can get a bit annoying," Henry laughed a bit as he continued " yeah my brother is the successful one, he's in training to be a auror now but I don't really know why since that's the third time he changed his profession. Oh and my twin sister is the social one, she's definitely way more social than me. So sometimes it's good to be a only child, so you have no one to compete with."
Henry continued to walked down the corridor as he took another left then right, Henry looked back to be sure that Bella was still following him before speaking again " do you have any classes that your looking forward to, mate uh Bella?"

Bella listened as Henry talked of his own siblings, his feelings of always being compared to his brother and sister. He was right, there was no competition for her; yet she still wanted to get the approval of her father. She decides to move on from the topic of her parents, not wanting to ruin the mood by mentioning her late mother.
She tucks the same piece of hair from earlier back behind her ear, interested in hearing of Henry's brother becoming an auror. "An auror! I've always found their work interesting." she muses, smiling. As a first year, Bella's not thought of a life past Hogwarts yet; maybe an auror will be what she becomes?
"I'm looking forward to a lot of them, but probably Defence Against the Dark Arts, Charms and History of Magic are up there. I know my father loved Defence Against the Dark Arts, it was his favourite subject and he's always said I'd love it too. What classes do you like the most?" she answers Henry, keeping up with his strides as they walk along the corridor.

Henry heard Bella say how much she wanted to he a auror to which Henry chuckled a hit before he replied " maybe I can tell you about what my brother has to do for the school then sometime. You would probably enjoy it and in fact I think I have a book or two from his study's that you probably will like, don't worry he gave it to me not that I wanted." Henry continued to walked as he heard Bella speak of her favorite classes that she looked forward to before asking Henry what classes he like at Hogwarts.
Henry smiled at he came to an quick halt and turned to face Bella as he spoke " my favorites are probably charms and astronomy. But once I can take care of magical creatures, that will also be my favorite," Henry paused as he thought of a place to take the young girl and also to continue to get to know her better as he spoke " I know a place where you would like if you'll just follow me, Bella." Henry smiled at her and grabbed her hand before taking off at twice the speed that he was going previously as now he had a destined place to take her and didn't want to forget it as he sort of started to run.

She listens with a smile, excited at the thought of being able to read his brothers books on aurors. She also enjoyed listening to Henry talking of his favourite subjects, she could tell he liked them very much; maybe she would end up liking them too, Hogwarts was full of surprises after all!
Bella looks around, unsure of where they were at that moment. She could still hear the faint chatter of students, along with some Professors along the way. The sun still shone brightly, casting a nice glow to Bella's face; her ginger hair glistening in the sun. Henry tells her of some place she would like, then suddenly Henry takes her hand and starts speeding off.
Bella laughs, allowing him to take her away, "where are we going?". Her heart thumps against her chest, she wasn't expecting the sudden change of speed.
They whizzed past busy corridors, narrowly avoiding many other students. Bella notices the many open classrooms filled with people. She was shocked that no Professor has spotted two people running yet, surely they would get into trouble. Trusting Henry, she is dragged away and is left feeling intrigued at the location he was taking her too. She was sure she would love it.

Henry heard Bella ask where they were going and as Henry was basically running through the corridor and sliding after or right he spoke " it's a surprise but you will love it trust me," Henry kept a tight grip on her hand as he took another sharp left then ran all the way down the corridor and almost slipped as he slid left again and had to slid past others and duck under some as many started to head to class or another place. Henry looked and wondered how no professor caught them yet but didn't think to much on it as he made another right then ran down the corridor with Bella's hand in his own before making another right.
Henry then came to some stairs as he held tight on to Bella's hand and spoke " were almost there," before he raced up the stairs then took another left and raced up a few more then down some, before taking another left then right then left. It was like a maze and anyone could easily get lost or dizzy as the second year pulled the first year down the corridor and too a spot that he was should that she would like.

Bella rolls her eyes at Henry's answer, though a smile is still plastered on her face. His hand still held hers tightly as he drags her through each corridor; to her surprise she still hadn't bumped into anyone. People stare as the two run along, intrigued just like Bella was. Henry nearly falls when turning a sharp corner, causing Bella to laugh loudly. Looking down at her own feet, Bella starts watching her steps; hoping she didn't fall herself. That would be embarrassing, yet also quite hilarious.
She listens as Henry announces they were nearly there, getting more and more excited. "I don't think I've ever run so much in my life!" Bella jokes in between deep breaths. Sport was never her strongest skill, the closest to exercise she got was walking.
Her eyes try to capture as much as she could; the classrooms, endless stairs leading to unknown places, the moving portraits all conversing amongst themselves. Her hand checks over her bag as it moves with her running legs, she could feel her book still there; her smile turns into a grin. She hadn't reached the mysterious surprise yet and she knew she would love it. Henry seemed to have figured her out quicker than anyone.

Henry heard Bella speak as be turned his head and smiled at her before gripping her small hand a bit more tightly and continuing to run,
as he passed corridors and turned corners, he ran up and downstairs and past students who he had to ducked and bend around to avoid running into them but the second year slytherin seemed to know where he wanted to go and that he needed to get there. Henry continue his run but eventually slowed it just a bit to show that he was almost there he took another left then another right then two more lefts as he passed a flat wall that Henry looked at and smiled like he knew that the wall was hiding something or was actually something else.
Henry then came to a halt in front of the wall as he turned to Bella and spoke " a quick detour," Henry smiled as he continued to hold her hand and with his other waved to the wall as he spoke " I can't say the name of the place but I can say a riddle for it. If you ever need a place or something then you just need to come here and ask." Henry gave her a quick smile before grabbing her hand and continuing to run down the corridor as he took another left then called back to Bella " almost there."
