During her stay at camp, Breana has been through a series of interesting events. Whether good or bad, they would surely be memorable. Despite all of that, however, the young Ravenclaw couldn't help but let her mind wander through the memories of her homeland, the muggle world. Of course, she wouldn't trade what happened to her for anything. Magic at the flick of her wand? What child wouldn't want that? Still, she let her mind wander... as well as herself. She didn't stray too far from the campsite of course. Just far enough that she has a small pocket of a place for her own.
Breana crouched down just enough for her to stare out into the horizon. She took it a slow and deep breath, exhaling just as deeply. Her eyes slowly closed softly as she hummed to herself. No particular song, just a vague recollection of a song that she heard in the radio once. Soon enough, she found her foot tapping along to the rhythm.
It's been a while since she danced. When was it? During the talent show? Breana pulled off a grimaced look as she remembered. Merlin, she should've remembered how to undo Tarantallegra on that chair. Nevertheless, her feet were aching for a little more extra movement. She bit her lip, looking left, then looking right, hoping that no one was nearby. Feeling safe enough to give in to her whims, Breana slowly stood up and did a bit of footwork.
The dance that she was doing right now we're far from the naive little tap-dancing that she did for the talent show. This one had more passion thrust into her flow as if she was a cobra striking at her prey. Though it was a bit awkward for her, especially since there was no music to dance to, Breana didn't care. She missed the quick choreography that she could pull off, the swift yet precise movements that she can remember in dancing videos that she watched on the Internet. She was in her element.

Despite it being summer and her prefect duties were not an obligatory responsibility (besides certain cases), she sometimes went with the flow and was just wandering around noticing things and checking on students not putting themselves into danger. The meal would be soon, Xailah wasn't around (probably chasing some fireflies again), so she simply had nothing else to do.
Where the sounds of the camp went a bit more muffled, Meenauh found herself completely alone to enjoy the beauty of nature. A nice view could serve as a nice appetiser and a pleasant introduction for the evening. Blending into the horizon, she closed her eyes to inhale the fresh early evening air. The complete silence and removing sight helped to enhance her listening ability and revealed the presence of someone else. Non-linear asynchronous noises, which sounded like unusual footsteps, were confusing and it seemed Meenauh was followed by some sort of creature. As they were not at Hogwarts, Merlin knew which types of creatures could wander the nearby areas. With her wand at the ready, she quickly turned and started to advance through the bushes.
It was a student, a student from Hogwarts as her face was not an unknown one, but exact allegiance was problematic to determine. The student was moving in a chaotic manner, her limbs floating around, or shaking without a clear pattern. She was in a sort of magical trance, may be possessed, or in the middle of the process of going mad. She clearly needed help. If it was a seizure, Meenauh would need to stop it and heal the consequences and accompany her to the medical station in the camp.
"Maybe she's just under the Dancing-Feet spell?" the actually clever voice of hers suggested and then it was indeed a more realistic scenario.
"Finite Incantatem!" she exclaimed loudly and pointed at the girl hoping to stop the jinx. She didn't discard the possibility of a seizure and was ready to cast her Reparifors next. Hopefully, the girl wouldn't die of a heart attack from the surprised incantation out of nowhere.

By sheer luck (and maybe with the help of her keen ear) The dancing little eagle noticed a loud hollering for a spell. She turned her head and noticed the senior student trying to "save" Breana from her own dancing. Without missing a beat, the Ravenclaw quickly ducked from the spell just as it whizzed past her, dropping herself to the ground. Unfortunately, her reflexes were not as graceful as her dancing, as she fell flat with a loud, "WHOA!?" and smudged her outfit with the soft ground. She let out a sigh of relief after dodging the spell, then slowly standing back up with a grunt. "If you were trying to get my attention, ya definitely got it now, mate..." She said, clicking her tongue as she tried to wipe off the grass bits and a bit of mud stuck on her clothes. "Though a 'hi' would be less startlin' than a... That was the Counter spell, innit? " She inquired, still picking out blades of grass from her shirt.
Then her mind went off to examine the spell caster's face. Her memory is vague, but Breana knew for a fact that she saw the Gryffindor somewhere before. Where exactly, she can't say for sure. Can't hurt to ask, at least. "Wait... Haven't I... Met ya before...? " She asked. She ouldn't be in the same class, the girl looked like she was older. "Are you friends with any younger students? Maybe I saw you with one of me friends..." Breana tried to deduce.

As the girl fell flat on the ground, Meenauh frowned and inspected her wand. It did a much better job than she could even imagine. She pocketed the wand after a slight shrug and turn to the girl.
"You are welcome, and hi. Yes, that was a simple counter-spell," she confirmed making a note in her mind that the girl had to be a first-year as she didn't have the certainty of the second-year spell, "First I thought you had some sort of seizure, but it turned out someone hexed you with a sweet Tarantallegra," Meenauh went with an unrequested explanation of her actions as the girl was standing back up, but she considered she had to explain herself.
Before she was able to ask more questions, the girl began to inspect Meenauh and requesting the information of their potential relationship. Meenauh listened carefully as the manner of speaking was new to her, and searched in her mind for any connections with the curly girl until she found it: "Younger students, you ask? Yes, I think I've remembered you as I've seen you on that day Pericles Dralt was opening the gift. The memory sounds about right," it did sound right, both visually and audibly, "You... you were making a decent attempt to sing some song to Pericles. Is he your friend?"
The girl was definitely there on that day, so she must have been someone Pericles expected. On the other hand, Ms Moonstar was also there, but even Pericles was surprised to see her. And if this girl was a friend of his, Pericles would probably mention her once or twice at least. Or did he keep her a secret?

A perplexed look smeared all over the Ravenclaw's face. "Wh-- Hexed me? What're you--" Then the realization dawned on her on what the prefect meant, letting out a soft chuckle. "Ah, no no... You got it all confused. I was just, well, dancing. No dancing hex of the sort. Though, jeez, my dancing must be WAY off if ye thought that I was just hexed." She sighed, shaking her head as she finally got all of the dirt and grass bits off of her. "I must be gettin' rusty if that's the case..."
"OH! You were at his lil' birthday bash? I mean, it was more of an impromptu get-together, innit?" She grinned. As the lioness mentioned Pericles, she was instantly friend material for the freckled girl. The little dancer cringed as the Gryffindor recalled the awkward singing that she did, grimacing in both disgust and enjoyment. "Gah, yes! Hahaha, yeah, that was me... and, well..." She looked up for a moment, just to ponder over on the senior's question. "I mean, I think that we're rather good friends, considering the stuff we've been through together, yeah..." Breana smiled. "Though, I'm sorry if I didn't talk to you during that time... It was a swift little huddle, after all..." Unfortunately for Breana, that wasn't the only reason. Xailah, the girl that was rather awful to her at the Blossom Ball was there as well. The little girl had a rather vague memory of the birthday meeting, so she wasn't sure if Xailah was a friend of hers or if Meenauh was just within proximity of her at the time.
Breana then playfully smacked the hilt of her palm onto her forehead, as another realization popped up in her mind. "Oh, of course, where are my manners?!" The Ravenclaw then extended her hand over to the older girl. "The name's Breana. Breana Oliveire."

She was watching in surprise as the girl continued to use her hands to clean the remaining bits of dirt on herself.
"Did you forget your wand or something?" one of the voices wanted to sarcastically inquire out loud but decided not to, as the girl started to exclaim out her surprise about Meenauh's confident guess on all the hexing, which ended in a more surprising statement that it was indeed a dance, but... a voluntary one, "Oh," she said in response and kept silent as the girl crushed over losing her grace or whatever was required to perform that sort of dance.
She listened to the girl's answer and reminiscence of the birthday 'bash'. So she claimed they were, indeed, close with Pericles... after what they've been through... together... Oh, maybe she meant the forest unfortunate trip which resulted in the full hospital wing and lots of unconscious kids being brought back from the forest if one would believe the rumours. She had a first-hand review of what has happened from Pericles himself, well, before he was rendered unconscious. It was a dreadful story to listen to. After what happened to Xailah at both balls, Meenauh was getting more and more afraid for her friends. Why they got all the troubles and how Meenauh kept managing to avoid them? Maybe they should stick to her to avoid troubles as well?
Pondering halted on the loud face smack and the girl extending her hand with a name — Breana. If they were so close with Pericles, then how come he never mentioned her neither to her nor Xailah. Well, maybe Xailah knew. The girl was nice and very... girly and fun and lively. Meenauh got awkward about girls shaking hands with each other, but it came a bit more naturally that time. Except for the few seconds, she stared at the hand hanging in front of her.
"Meenauh. Like 'me' and 'now'," she answered and accepted the handshake and then her mind pushed another paper plane of memory into her mind. She remembered how she saw the name or probably heard Alexx mentioning it along with Ana, so the girl must have been a fresh new member of the Headliner she just didn't get an opportunity to get acquainted with, "Wait a second, aren't you on Headliner now? It seems we didn't get a proper introduction, yes," she assumed after releasing the handshake.
"So you say it was a dance. That, honestly, was a very... contemporary kind of dance?" she reverted the conversation back to the start (after Breana would answer the previous question about the Headliner), "Are you a dancer? What kind of dance that was?" she continued to inquire as her own knowledge of dancing was restricted to classic ball dancing. If that was a muggle dance — that part of muggle culture was never unveiled in not a single muggle book she read. So, maybe Breana would be a nice guide into certain muggle cultural phenomena?

Breana smiled a little to the Gryffindor. It may be a sort of mistaken identity for the hexing, but at least she was helping her. "Hey, it's alright. I mean, it is a bit weird, since I ain't gots no music or even my smartphone to play anything out here." She said casually, before instantly remembering where she is. "Gah, wait..." Breana stammered, hoping to god she can salvage her mistake. For a brief moment, she forgot that not everyone knew what muggle tech was. "I mean, well..." She mumbled. Brean then sighed and shook her head. "Y-you know, just forget it. It's a muggle thing..." She dismissed her own fumble, moving on with the conversation.
As she held out her hand, it was rather perplexing, at first. Mostly on the fact that the senior was momentarily just staring at it. Thankfully, it was quickly remedied as the girl finally introduced herself. "Oh, cool..." Breana smiled, pulling her hand away and pocketing it in her jeans. "Me... now... Meenauh. Meenauh, Meenauh, Meenauh, got it." She chuckled. It took a second for Breana to realize what Meenauh was talking about, which made her jump up at the eureka moment. "AH, MATE!" She exclaimed. "Yeah yeah, we're both in the Headliner!" Breana grinned, finding another connection between her and the prefect. "You write that sort of piece every issue... erm... about muggle tech, yeah?" She asked, hoping that she thought of the right writer.
Once the conversation swerved back to Breana's dancing, she couldn't help but get flustered at being called a dancer. "Ah well... Thanks..." Breana smiled sheepishly, rubbing her arm. She never thought of herself as one, she just loved dancing. Though, most people that love their crafts start out as such. "And I dunno how to explain it, really... I guess hip-hop? Krumping? Very modern, I'd say." She said, looking up as she contemplated for a better word to describe what it was. She was mostly following her own groove, so she can't fully pinpoint its origins.

How exactly did she plan to "get the music on" in the middle of the wilderness? Probably with that smartphone, which sounded like a device or something. She heard of the phones, of mobile phones (her father even brought a thing home to play with, something with "motor" in it), but it seemed there was something better than that — a phone that was smart. But "forget it, it's a muggle thing" was a bit irritating, considering her interest in muggle concepts and items. Gosh, she was even writing articles for the Headliner about that.
The girl confirmed her presence in the Headliner, though Meenauh didn't meet her there yet. And probably won't. The girl even remembered the types of articles Meenauh wrote. She nodded.
"Yes, so I can't 'forget it's a muggle thing' as you may have noticed," she added before the dance types conversation. The girl thanked Meenauh for something and Meenauh was not getting what for, she couldn't even understand it after rewinding the conversation back in her mind. The listing of words Meenauh didn't understand didn't help at all, so she just frowned at them to display that it's not helping. But she just accepted it as an answer. Going into the content of a system without understanding its mechanics was not a thing she was ready for, so she smiled to Breana politely. The device sounded a bit more interesting.
"So, you say a smart phone? Did muggles manage to bring a phone to life without magic? How does that work?" she inquired with non-fake interest.

As Meenauh corrected Breana with her phrasing, the freckled child became confused for a moment. Was the Gryffindor offended? Or was it just a quick little correction that Breana was just overthinking of? The quip was mostly for her own sake, trying to avoid fumbling her own words in explaining the technology. Did Breana came off as rude? Nevertheless, the little girl just brushed the thought aside and continued on with the conversation.
After a while, however, the older prefect swerved the conversation back to the muggle device Breana mentioned. "Oh...!" The curly-haired girl smiled, relieved that she didn't offend her (at least as far as Breana thought.) "Well, no, not really... It's just called that 'cause of the many uses it got. A smartphone basically does a lotta stuff: Help with math, take pictures... oh, you can even play games in it too!!" She said, almost giddy in sharing such information in classic Ravenclaw fashion. "Of course, you can still make long-distance calls and stuff, but now it's so much more! I use mine to play music, but dad uses his to order bulk inventory of books for the bookshop." She chuckled a bit, remembering how her father accidentally ordered twice and had to give some to her just to maintain the inventory. "It's really useful, though you still have to charge it up regularly, but it's not that much of a hassle..."

Meenauh listened to the girl and was squinting for some reason. So, muggles considered an item smart because it had multiple uses. So if a broom could be used in multiple ways, would they call it smart as well? Wordings wasn't usually an issue to Meenauh as she could track the etymology. This wasn't the case. An item couldn't be smart by default as it requires a mind. Was it because muggles considered the item as a tool that makes them smarter? But if the activities Breana was listing were really useful, it would mean that phone substituted them or served as a helper. But in that case, they didn't actually make them smarter, but... lazier? Or they transferred part of their smartness to their phones and it made their phones smarter?
She shook her head to throw the thinking off and concentrate on the girl. Playing games on a phone was really weird concepts. Was it like they connected to each other to play some verbal games? And it also played music. Okay, it had really a lot of uses.
"Okay, it has really a lot of uses as far as I managed to understand from your description," she answered periodically nodding, "What about that charging? It must use some of those energy sources muggles use for their computers and, well, everything, right?" she asked but actually more like was questioning and answering herself. She wrote about electricity once with Prof. Galim's help. The concept was fascinating, but also frightening.
"Do you have one of your own, you say? How often do you meet a person with a smartphone? Is it some sort of luxury as it sounds like it can work like magic in certain areas," she questioned the curly girl. She still had this researching trait and she was really interested in the muggle concepts and items too.
