Fly with me? Closed

After he got onto the broom she was beginning to lift off the ground when James said "Um, Adeline? Do you mind if I hold onto you?" her face became extremely warm at this comment but she pulled herself together enough to answer his question before going any higher. "S-sure I don't mind..." she tried not to stutterer much, she had just been taken off guard from his question.

James began to blush furiously as he reached forward and wrapped his arms around her waist. He was thankful that he was behind her so she could not see his reddening face.
His stomach began exploding with butterflies, 1: because she had already started to lift off the ground, and 2: it was kinda obvious...
James was careful to not grab onto her too tightly as they slowly hoovered up, getting ready to start flying.
"T-thanks." James replied.

Adeline was still blushing but she began to relax as they lifted off the ground. she didn't want to go to high yet because she was just getting used to riding with someone else. She smiled even though he couldn't see her. "I think I like having a flying partner!"

"Y-yeah." he agreed. "Me too! It means I don't have to worry too much about crashing since someone else is driving."
He started to relax as well, breathing in the air all around him. and taking in the view that slowly revealing itself as the rose steadily higher.

She laughed at his joke then started to go a little faster. The sun was about going down at this point. "Hey, James is it ok if we go higher up?"

James resisted the urge to hold onto Adeline tighter.
"Um, yeah! We can go higher up!" he replied.
The air was getting slightly cooler the higher they went and the lower the sun did. James made himself not shiver quite yet.

As they lifted up higher the air became cooler than it was on the ground. She could see the beautiful sunset over Hogwarts. "It's beautiful..." she hadn't even realized she had said it aloud until she heard her voice say it.  

James looked over to the sunset after hearing her say that it was beautiful. James nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, yo- it is beautiful."
James mentally exploded.
What was that!? What had I just been about to say?
That she's beautiful?
No! I mean, yes! But, no! Ugh!
Stop it, James!
Words could not describe how confused he was at himself....

"What were you going to say?" She had heard him say something then change it but didn't get what he had said. she sat there looking at the sunset change color as it moved across the sky.

"I don't know." he lied. "I tend to stumble over my words a lot." he said.
He casually changed the subject.
"Did you want to go faster? he asked.
