Setting The Scene
Brushing her hands together, Lizzie stood back from her work. She wiped some sweat from her forehead and took long deep breaths. She had never known hauling chairs and pushing a piano would be so hard and tiring. She had a lot of strength but a full grand piano had taken the best of her.
She had placed around fifteen chairs around in a semi-circle facing the back wall. The piano had been pushed in front of the chairs along with some guitars placed against the piano stool. She was trying to make it look a little bit like a stage. Unfortunately, it hadn’t worked very well. She was always good at conjuring up plans and expecting them to go perfectly. Lizzie had to high expectations.
It wouldn’t really matter if nothing happened during the meeting. It was just a meet up and get used to everybody. Most people would be too tired from everything that had happened in the year that she had decided just to do something very simple.
The Ravenclaw smiled and pushed some hair behind her ear. It was good enough for some people to just introduce themselves. She knew the club would become pretty popular. It had been when it was with the original maker who sadly had to stop looking at the club under unknown circumstances.
Lizzie had taken it upon herself to look after the club along with another girl, Taylor Natalie Rogers-Freeman, whom she had never met. It was a bit unfortunate that they had just communicated over owls but it probably was for the best. Sometimes the blonde could accidentally make the bad first impression but on a piece of parchment at least she could re-start.
“Perfect.” Lizzie muttered under her breath as she clapped her hands together as a sign of congratulations to herself. She walked towards the piano and turned around to face the doorway. All she had to do now was wait for members of the Club of Theatrical Arts so they could get the first and last meeting of the year started.

-This is not a modded meeting because there will be no reason to.
-You may God mode Lizzie while you are introducing yourself. Anything further than a hello and welcome will be considered breaking the rules.
-You do not have to go here it is just so that the club doesn't go inactive.
-I [Lizzie] will be posting every few days.
-Wait so some people can get their posts in before replying again. Example:

When the last class of the day ended, Cassie directly goes to the Rehearsal Room. Some days prior, they heard about the first and last meeting of the year will be held. Cassie stepped their foot into the room. Usually the room set with row of chairs but not today. Today the room set as semi circle and the grand piano had been pushed from its former place.
"Do you do this by yourself, Liz?"Cassie said to their blonde best friend. The girl seems out of breath. "I could help you out, you know"The green eyes girl said to the Raven. "Do you still need my introduction?"Cassie asks Lizzie playfully. "If so well, My name is Cassandra Ironwoods but you can call me Cassie or Cash, whichever I am fine with it"Cassie smirks and walk towards the blonde girl.
"I never know that you had any interest in Theatrical Arts"The newly dyed hair girl said to their best friend. "And I am so proud that you are the co-owner of this club"The Serpent told the Eagle. Cassie never know that Lizzie show any interest in Theater Arts department before, other than she loves to write song lyrics. Day by day, Cassie learn new things about their best friend.

Now that Sky really contemplated it, why had she signed up to the theatrical arts club in the first place? Her eyes narrowed in contemplation as she pondered, her elbow resting on the polished desk she was working at; well, supposed to be working at. Sky could perform to some extent, and she indeed had experience in musicality. Violin and guitar were just two of her specialities. Then she wasn't at all that bad at oral speaking either. It was whether she was actually bothered to practice these talents, that was what mattered.
So why?
Oh. Now the reason for the divulge in such an unusual thing, returned, filling her with newfound realization. Her thoughts grasped it hungrily and Sky stabbed at the thought, her tired brain struggling to keep up as she jogged along. Of course, it was all that stupid gryffindors fault. Although, could she really blame the girl this time? Or was it something to, thank her for? A malicious smile made its way onto the slytherins face. Why, she was determined to outshine the idiotic mess at any cost. Was she becoming obsessed with this task? The mere suggestion of the club had triggered the slytherin, as it fell carelessly from Walkers lips. Sky had smirked spitefully, her ears perking up in interest as she discovered a new opportunity to bite at her enemies heels. Was it, dare she say, pugnacious of her to seek out these opportunities? Was she indeed becoming bored enough to follow through with such an act? It was possible. Possible indeed.
Then, there was also the probability that she had in fact taken an interest in such an activity. No doubt the concept of performing arts was intriguing to the young girl. Maybe it was social events she had been deprived of, such organizations were bound to captivate the attention of other students, were they not? Was she then striving to pursue interaction with others for once? She dragged herself away from these wandering thoughts, plonking herself back to earth where she stared blankly into the common room fire for a space of time before sitting up, unlocking her fingers from her delicate pink curls and gathering her possessions. The ‘meeting’ for the club she had assigned herself to was to start soon and so she pulled herself along, finding herself at the entrance to the Rehearsal room in no time.
Pushing the door open tentatively [she wasn't Walker for god's sake] she sauntered in, surveying her surroundings with interest. Brown orbs flickered around the room, sharply analyzing the changes. The chairs were positioned in a semi circle; they faced the back wall. The piano had also been moved from its habitual position.
The effect had Sky wondering whether it was all to achieve the look of a temporary stage.
“And I am so proud that you are the co-owner of this club”
The words jolted the pink-haired girl back to reality and she jumped slightly, staring around as her gaze fell upon two other girls, who by the looks of it, seemed to be conversing about something. Sky's eyes widened as re realised one of the girls was, Cassie? Or Cassandra, as she preferred for now. It was a normality for Sky to abstain from using such endearing nicknames, even to her closest of companions.
“Cassandra!” she called, as she made her way over to the girl. Her exclamation was unusually bright, full of wonder and- was it excitement? She hastily cleared her throat, remitting her voice to the usual bored, drawling tones they possessed.

Lizzie grinned at the sound of her best friend's voice. She sighed and turned towards her. "Yes, I did do this by myself. Unfortunately, the other person running this could not make it today." The girl nodded her head slightly and then laughed slightly.
"No, I do not need your introduction. I already know you"She took a deep breath and pushed some hair out of her face, "But thank you anyway." Lizzie then sat down on the closest seat waiting for more people to come.
A hand full of people had signed-up but never had reached out to Lizzie to ask when the first meeting was. It wasn't really a meeting of sorts though. Just a get together and know each others names/faces.
Lizzie smiled again, "I'm not that interested but I didn't want to see a good club go and fall down into the drain. Maybe over the summer I will pick someone out to take my stop." She sighed yet again and continued, "It is a lot of work and I am thinking of running something else as well."
As the door opened, Lizzie whipped her head towards a girl walking in. She quickly stood up and walked forward, "I'm Lizzie. I will be running some of the club meetings." She clapped her hands together and sat down.
"Well, if we already all know each other this will be a piece of cake. Not much to say is there then." She laughed. All they needed to do was wait for a while and hope other people came other than that everything had already been concluded.

Margo practically bounced her way to the Rehearsal Room she was so excited. Exams may have been looming nearer, and she did have some important family owls to send but... how could she possibly say no to some drama?Interacting with @Lizzie Verdine and @Cassandra Ironwoods
Open for interactions!
Okay, so the meeting was purely for introductions, and therefore it was unlikely that there would be any entertaining arguments for her to observe (sigh). In fact, this type of ‘get to know each other’ fest was something that Margo would usually find deathly boring. However, she had the hopeful suspicion that people interested in theatrical arts might be quite interesting. And that, along with a slightly unhealthy desire to be the best, had made her decide that she needed to make a splash. Not with actual water, of course. More like a metaphorical good impression. Or at least persuade some people that she was one to watch.
But how was she actually going to do that? Flooding the Rehearsal Room was out of the question, of course. So perhaps she should have brought her cat along. But, well, claw marks on grand pianos wouldn’t really make the kind of impression she was going for. Hm. Maybe she should have dressed herself in red velvet theatre curtains, or something similar. It was a little late now, though. Her usual red bandana and scorpion earrings were the only additions to her normal Slytherin robes. She was vastly running out of options. And by the time Margo reached the door to the Rehearsal Room, she was still stuck.
Well, nothing screamed theatre like a little bit of improvisation.
Margo strode in with her usual vastly exaggerated air of confidence. Her eyes scanned the room quickly, searching desperately for a way she could make her grand impression. For now, it was up to her introduction. Her gaze zoned in on a girl who was the centre of the small social bubble. Only four people were present so far, including herself and the leader. Disappointing. But no matter, Margo could still try and work it to her advantage.
However, before Margo could open her mouth and start ‘working the crowd’, the instruments in the corner caught her eye. More specifically, the guitars. Aha! Finally, a weapon with which she could defend herself! She grabbed one in a case and shot it a secretive little smile. Now this was how she would make her impression. But maybe it would be polite to talk to some people first.
She approached the group with a slightly mischievous grin. ”Why hello, fellow miscreants. My name is Margo. Lizzie, is it?” she asked the girl she had previously titled the leader. “So... what exactly do you have in mind for us to do in this club next year? If there was anything Margo liked, it was being in the know.
She turned towards a vaguely familiar face. ”A fellow Slytherin.” She exclaimed to Cassandra. “I don‘t believe we’ve met. Got an interest for theatre, or are musicals more up your street?”
Margo promptly sat. The chairs were there for a reason, after all. Standing around didn’t help anybody... and, okay, she did have an ulterior motive. She placed the guitar on her lap, unzipping the case and lightly fingering the strings. It wasn’t her guitar, but the shine on it was still beautiful and, with a few adjustments, she deemed it in tune.
Margo began to strum, humming a melody along with her playing. The song was called ‘Yesterday’ from the Beatles, one of her favourite muggle bands. Some people might have thought she was playing for attention, and, okay, they weren’t exactly wrong. But Margo strummed just as much for herself as she did any other. It made her happy — almost as much as being dramatic.

Lizzie saw the girl walk in and she knew instantly they would get along alright. The girl then turned back to the two other companions in the room who seemed to have not done anything since she introduced herself. Maybe they were scared or a bit paranoid at what was happening. Meeting new people wasn't always a strong suit for people Lizzie had met. They always seemed shy, calm and collected. The complete opposite of the oldest Verdine.
She saw the girl had started to walk over to her and was now accompanied by a guitar. That was a good first impression. Guitars were always good in Lizzie's books. Being able to play an instrument was a talent and talent was something Lizzie strived to try and excel in. Even if it was a talent in eating food without gaining any weight.
The girl nodded her head, "Yes, it is Lizzie. Nice to meet you Margo." She smiled at her and then continued, "I just didn't want this club to die away. I was thinking of maybe holding a few meetings and then passing the leadership over to someone who has more of an interest in the arts of theater than me." Lizzie did not want to keep secrets from people so it was nice to let the thing had had been on her chest for a while. She knew she wasn't one of the best people to run the club however it was never nice to see something die that had potential.
Quickly sitting down again, Lizzie brushed part of her clothes of. She had no reason to be there anymore as it didn't look like anyone else was coming. That was fine in her opinion because it was just the first meeting meaning there was plenty of time the next year to go and join up.
As soon as she heard the song she had previously been playing to Roo a few weeks before hand, Lizzie stood up and walking over to Margo promptly. "You play the Beatles? I love them as well as the band Queen." She nodded her head lovingly. It was no lie that Lizzie loved rock bands. Especially Freddie Mercury and his band of boys. All the head banging might give Lizzie a headache but that never stopped her from being a lover of the music.
"I actually should be going now."She sighed and looked around the room, "I can come back later and put it all back to normal myself." Lizzie had no where to be but just sitting down in a room of Slytherins wasn't the best idea in her mind. She could be out in the Courtyard playing some music or something. If they wanted to go with her they could but that would be their choice.
Lizzie waved to the girls and walked to the door, "Sorry for the really short meeting. I just.. have somewhere to be right now." She grinned and closed the door behind her. The girl took a deep breath before continuing down the hall walking off towards her common room.

Closed to interactions - I'm just posting so it's known that Lucia came xDLucia Fox had completely forgotten that she had joined the Club of Theatrical Arts - which was why she was currently running down the stairs to get to the rehearsal room. She burst through the door panting.
"Sorry I'm late!" Lucia said quickly to no-one in particular, running a hand through her hair in an attempt to release it from the knots her sprint had tangled it in.
She pulled out a water-bottle from her pocket and took a few gulps. I am not a runner, Lucia thought to herself as she closed the door behind her and slipped the water-bottle back into her robes.
"Wait..." as she looked around the room, her face fell. The room was set up, yes, but there were only three people in it - and no Ravenclaws or Gryffindors, which meant that the leaders of the club had already left. "I'm too late, aren't I," she muttered, and lifted her left wrist to check the time. Yes - she was late, and at this point it looked as if the meeting had been so short she had missed it completely.
"Merlin," she muttered again, and turned back to the door. "Uh, sorry for the interruption," she said awkwardly to the room at large, before ducking back out into the corridor.Lucia has left the thread
