Finished Astronomy and Friendships PV

Henry stepped into the library after class one day to find it filled to the brim with other students of all different years and the first year didn't have enough confidence yet to ask to join anyone at their table so he held his messager type bag a bit tight as he made his way through the crowd of students. While it was a bit of a dull and chilly day, that still didn't explain why there were so many students in the library a place where Henry normally went and rarely saw anyone there as he walked down the library and finally found a row of shelves where only one another girl sat, reading a book.

Henry walked down it and scanned the books as most of them were astronomy books, not that Henry minded since he loved astronomy. Henry pulled one of the books out from the shelf, and approached the girl who seemed to have brown hair and wearing a sweater that didn't have any house markings on it not that Henry care about houses, he only hoped that she felt the same way since he had on a Slytherin sweater.

Henry cleared his throat a bit to release nerves and hoped that she didn't have any prejudiced against Slytherin's as he spoke " um, excuse me. Would you mind if I j..join you? Everywhere else s..seems to be f..full?" Henry waited for her to answer as he remained standing, holding his book when he spoke again " what is the b..book that you are r..reading? I only ask b..because it looks interesting."

Henry heard the girl say that she could join him when after he heard her say that he book was a muggle book on astronomy, once she finished Henry spoke " thank you and your b...book sounds interesting. It is f...funny his similar yet d..different muggles and wizards interpret t...things." Henry smiled at her then sat down placing his bag next to his body and keeping his book on his knees as he didn't want to coward her or take up too much room as he heard her say that her name is Logan and then asked what book he was currently reading or had in his hand.

" Nice t..to meet you Logan. I'm Henry," Henry told Logan before looking back at his book and saying again " it's a b...book on astronomy, I r..rather enjoy that c..class." Henry hated that he stuttered but he was getting better and was definitely better then he was two years ago as he looked back at Logan and said " I think I s...saw you in the library b...before. Are you a f..first year, like m..me?" Henry awaited her answer and after a while he decided to say " I'm s..sorry if your brothered by m..my stuttering. I c..can't help it but I'm definitely getting b...better at it," Henry then paused and decided to add even with having no confidence he was able to say " I'm not like m..most Slytherin's, by t..the way."

Henry listened as Logan talked about she also like astronomy but potions was more of a favorite for her to which Henry replied " potions is m..my favorite to. But I'm just a n..nutter because I like almost every c..class," Henry then paused and listened as Logan said she also was a first year and did frequently visit the library to which Henry nodded and smiled at her. As Henry heard her continued as he said that she didn't mind his stuttering and was actually nervous herself when it came to new people, she knows what it's like to be nervous? She definitely seems nice maybe this could be my chance to make a friend.

Henry got pulled back to reality when he heard Logan say that she didn't have prejudiced against Slytherin's and was actually the first in her family to be a hufflepuff in which Henry replied " that's good that you don't m..mind me being a slytherin. I also don't r..really care about houses t..to much, uh but you did say the first in your family. So
does t..that mean you have siblings?" Henry didn't want to be rude or ask anything personal he only wished to become her friend because he rarely met someone who was like him in both meeting others and their study's.

Henry listened to her talk of her family and young identical twin brothers, Henry couldn't help but smiled as he kept his book close and slightly turn so he could face Logan a bit more. Henry the listened as she spoke that most of her family actually did care about houses which made Henry a bit sad but didn't think of it to long since she ask if he had any siblings to which he said " younger twin brother's are cool, but sorry to hear about your f...family and their house preferences," Henry paused and took a breather before speaking again " I have a older brother who graduated from here last year and a twin sister. My brother was a slytherin, and also a prefect and head boy besides getting straight O's. Even through he g...graduated the professor's still like to r..remind me of him." Henry rolled his eyes a bit and sort of laughed as he continued " it sometimes gets annoying, anyway my father was also a slytherin and from what I heard everyone in his family was either a slytherin or went t..to Dumstrang."

Henry then remembered that he never mentioned that he never met his family so he spoke again " I actually never met my father's family nor my mum's family. But I do know that my mum was a ravenclaw, I sort of wished to be sorted there to because of her." Henry stopped talking as he hated to talk about his mum because memories and guilt rose in him after she had died, Henry felt the pendant under his shirt touch his skin and he spoke again " beside from r..read do you like t...to do anything else?"

Henry listened as she talked about wanting to be in ravenclaw as well and having a conflict with her mum's family as well as her own family and how her identical twin brother's had a special bond between then to which Henry couldn't help but laugh a little as he spoke " I'm sorry to hear about your family but I understand since both of my parents families basically want nothing to do with us," Henry gave her a understanding smile before continuing " your brothers definitely sound fun. I'm sure you are to, beside from being k..kind. uh, my and my twin aren't really that close beside from sharing a r..room back home."

Henry thought about his sister for a bit before speaking again " she's definitely more social and r..rambunctious then I am. But I still love her, it's too bad t...that she couldn't come to Hogwarts since s..she's a squib." Henry got a bit sad when he mentioned that fact but continued to listen as Logan spoke about her hobbies and couldn't help but smile once she was finished Henry then spoke " your hobbies sound amazing, especially the horse riding one," Henry smiled at the girl then spoke again " besides from studying and reading, I also enjoy being around animals or creatures, uh and playing the violin I guess. I also sometimes do photography among other stuff," Henry smiled at Logan and really enjoyed talking with her.
