Where Did You Sleep Last Night fin

Wyatt hadn’t ate or drank anything all day. He was good at not paying attention to his hunger, he was used to it. But his thirst? That was new. He could always get a drink of water when he needed it, he was lucky that way, but Alec had locked him out of the house, and Wyatt had a feeling he wouldn’t be allowed back in without a fight. And Wyatt was far too tired and thirsty for fighting, so that wasn’t happening.

That stupid “no underage magic” law kept him from casting Alohomora and being done with it. Wyatt knew he should’ve turned towards the nicer side of the neighborhood. Where Wyatt and Alec walked to the park. But his curiosity got the better if him like it usually did, and he went towards the side of the broken streetlamps. The Slytherin shoved his hands in his pockets. It got a little colder at night.

It wasn’t long before the sounds of glass being broken and boyish laughter filled the air. It seemed to be coming from Wyatt’s left and a little up the street. As he got closer, he saw there was an abandoned lot in between two small houses with boarded up windows. This side of the neighborhood looked nothing like where Alec lived. No new paint jobs, just cracked streets and sidewalks. It definitely reminded Wyatt of home.

Starkey made the mistake of looking at the boys (three of them, maybe seventeen years old) for too long, and he heard a tough-sounding, "oi!" Wyatt swallowed. Was he about to get beat up by these idiotic muggles? "Get over ‘ere!" Just to be safe, Wyatt looked over his shoulder- no one there. They were looking at him. As he walked over to them, hands stuffed in his pockets, he questioned if he was okay with dying like this.

Once he got to the lot, one of the boys walked up to him. Wyatt raised an eyebrow. "Empty your pockets, hand over your jewelry." He demanded. Wyatt blinked. He was definitely expecting the kid to punch him in the face and kick him into the ground. Though it seemed to be where the conversation was heading. These kids rubbed him the wrong way, most likely because they reminded him of the Cokeworth muggle bullies (including his father). Wyatt had to get out of there quickly.

“Too bad I have literally nothing.” The truth. Wyatt spun around and started to walk away, but he was grabbed by the back of his shirt and thrown down onto the ground with his hands held behind his back (to the sound of chuckles from the rest of the drunken idiots). He shouted, “hey! LET MUH-M… ME GO, DIPSHIT!” His face was against the dirt ground, and he tried to pick it up, only for his head to get slammed down again.

When Wyatt heard himself stutter, he was embarrassed beyond belief. The kids, unsurprisingly, made fun of him for it. "Wuh wuh what are you gonna do?" Laughter could easily be heard coming from behind the teen. Wyatt practically growled from under the boy. But he was angrier with himself. He hadn’t stuttered in years and recently his own mouth had been betraying him. “H-huh- hel- heh…” He gave up trying to call for help. It was a lost cause. He’d never make a word out in this situation.

"Little liar. I said to hand over your jewelry."
What was this kid saying? What could Wyatt possibly have that the boy wanted? But Wyatt was suddenly aware of the cold metal around his neck and pressed against his chest. His mother's necklace. There was no way in hell Wyatt was going to give that up, and he told the boy. “O- oh- over my c-cold deh- d- dead body.” The boy answered quickly. "We'll see about that, huh?"

Wyatt squirmed around and managed to get his slim wrists out of the bullies grasp and to turn onto his back. He tried to hit the loser, but bird brain grabbed his fist and twisted his arm, chuckling like a madman. Wyatt screamed in pain. Wyatt had experience with people like this bully, and neighborhoods like this one. No one was coming to save him. He’d have to survive this attack and move on. He was glad Alec wasn’t here to see this.

Unfortunately, turning onto his back had made his face an easy target. Punch after punch. There was a ringing in his ears, and his eyelids kept getting heavier, but he could smell and taste the blood. His nose felt broken, like it had before when Alec pulled that stupid prank and Wyatt passed out. So close… he was almost unconscious… almost free from the pain. Wyatt wanted to get knocked out. You can’t feel pain if you pass out. Or die.
I know these characters are a really big part of Alec's story so if there's anything I
wrote that they wouldn't do or something that doesn't fit their characters, please tell me.

Had Alec been watching Wyatt? Possibly. Why? There was actually no reason to this, except watching Wyatt suffer. Okay, that sounded bad. Alec actually hadn't been that cruel. He gave Wyatt a blanket.. Never mind that probably didn't make up for it. But Alec did leave the window unlocked, on purpose. And because it's just something that Alec always does. So if Wyatt truly wanted to get in and had been paying attention the day Alec had mentioned he always left his window unlocked, then he would've already been in here. Alec actually would've been quite impressed if Wyatt had remembered this. After all, it was fair game if Alec left the window unlocked and Wyatt just happened to get in.

Of course an hour into Wyatt being locked out of the house, and Alec had fallen asleep.

Only to wake up just a bit later with no idea where Wyatt was. Waking up during the night randomly actually happened quite often for Alec, he rarely slept soundly during the night, usually he'd just stare at the ceiling till he fell asleep. But of course he had to look out the window and check on Wyatt first. And he wasn't there. He'd wandered off. He probably knew his way around the neighborhood by now, but safe is better than sorry. "Probably should check on him" Alec mumbled. And so Alec left the house, being careful about the creaking stair. The second he got outside, everything seemed fine. Maybe Wyatt had gone to Greville Smyth Park?

But than Alec's eye caught the other street. This idiot. For how smart he believes he is, you'd think he'd know that Alec wasn't messing around when he said not to go there. But no! Don't listen to the kid who has good reasons to tell someone not to do (or say) something. And now Alec had to go look for Wyatt to make sure he was okay because otherwise Alec won't be able to sleep. Alec let out a frustrated sigh and started towards the 'bad side'. The place always made Alec uncomfortable. Alec couldn't look intimidating for the life of him. If he ever tried to look intimidating (Which he's tried) he'd just end up making a fool of himself yet would still do it anyway, and around here you needed to look tough.

Not too far into it and Alec found Wyatt.. Alec wasn't sure whether he should be relieved that he'd found Wyatt, or mad Wyatt hadn't listened to him. The least he could do after saying what he said was listening to Alec. Alec then realized something that hadn't fully hit him till now. Wyatt was on the ground, he looked pretty hurt, and wasn't moving. But instead of checking if Wyatt was okay, Alec backed up a bit. His breathing quickened as his gaze went around the area. Nine-year-old Alec had been an idiot, and so was Twelve-year-old Alec. He should not have even thought of walking over here. If Wyatt decided to do this, it was his fault. Alec had told him not too, but he didn't listen. Alec shouldn't have had to look for him. Alec was going to end up in a mess again if he didn't leave soon. Alec chewed at his lip nervously, his gaze falling back on Wyatt, decisions, decisions, decisions.

Be loyal to Wyatt and try to get him conscious again? Or leave and save yourself? Alec turned around. Leave and save yourself it is. But after getting a few steps away, guilt hit Alec. "You owe me big time after this" Alec mumbled, turning back towards Wyatt and walking over to him. How to wake him? Alec poked Wyatt in the arm. That didn't work. Sitting Wyatt up would be a challenge without getting seen.

Okay, so shaking him awake then it's not the best option, and it's probably going to freak Wyatt out, but it's all Alec can do right now. Alec kneeled down next to Wyatt taking a deep breath, "Please don't let us get caught and hate me after this, I mean I know locking you out of the house was kinda mean but you- Okay never mind it's still not justified. You got hurt and it's probably all my fault an-" Alec was nervous talking as quiet as he could be as he tried to get the boy back into a conscious state. The nervous talking while shaking Wyatt awake was now a packaged deal.

Wyatt woke up to the sound of Alec J. Mason yapping his head off. Which only added to the terrible pain he was feeling. Wyatt discovered what woke him up, but it had taken a moment or ten. Alec was shaking him, which further piled onto the pain. This wasn’t a very fun situation to be in, Wyatt concluded as he opened his eyes. Everything was blurry. Hopefully that wouldn’t last too long.

Hearing Alec go on and on about whoever’s fault it was really got annoying after a while. “Stop it, y- y- you’re driving yourself mm… m- mad.” He blinked. So his stutter was still there, huh. A mix of not really noticing and being-in-so-much-pain-he-couldn’t-care-less stopped him from feeling any shame. For a moment, Wyatt didn’t know what was going on, where he was, or what had happened.

But it wasn’t very long before the memories came, rushing over him. There were some muggle boys, threats, violence. Wyatt remembered feeling helpless, but okay with the feeling. It was something he knew well, so it was almost comforting to be able to say, “this will be over soon, and things will go back to normal. You just have to shut off for now.” And then he passed out. Which was nice.

Oh, and another thing. "I said to hand over your jewelry." Wait. With speed and strength Wyatt didn’t know he had left, his hand flew to his chest, and he felt for his mother’s necklace. He felt nothing. He felt his neck, for the chain. He felt nothing. They’d taken it. The losers took the necklace. It was a worthless piece of metal, but to Wyatt, it meant everything. The last piece of his mother, gone.

Sure, he had her wand, but she barely used it. In all of Wyatt’s memories of his mother, she was wearing the necklace, and now some stupid muggle boys had it. They’d ripped it from his neck while he was unconscious. Wyatt wanted to kill them. But mostly, he wanted to die, somehow. He wanted to see his mother again. To give her a hug. To let her pet his hair again. To feel again.

He slowly rolled over, out of Alec’s grasp and onto his stomach. He began hitting his head against the dirt ground. As punishment, for letting those idiots take the necklace, and if he was lucky, he’d pass out again and he wouldn’t feel the pain anymore. Not the black eye, or the broken nose, or even the sprained wrist. (He’d gotten pretty good at diagnosing his own injuries when his dad was around.)

Alec probably was.

But how else was he supposed to get Wyatt out of here? Once again a reminder. In no way was it possible for Alec to be able to carry the boy. And Alec really wanted to leave as well, the last thing he need was to run into any trouble. Once Alec actually got the both of them back home Alec was going to be in more trouble, than he could ever imagine. What's annoying about it all was they were at least slightly aware of Alec locking Wyatt of this house. And they didn't even think to stop it or give Alec reasons for why this might not be such a good idea.

Alec did things without thinking. No possible consequences being brought to the table. And after he did things is when it began. When he finally realized he messed up. And this time, big time. Alec's gaze steadied on the boy, who looked distraught and confused. The boy put a hand on chest to his neck as if looking for something.. Alec was confused at first then he remembers the necklace the boy always wore.

Alec usually paid no mind to it, but now he felt as if he had millions of questions about it. Like the Potter case. Something Alec had tried to ignore. He didn't want to know if it meant putting the person he'd looked up to for the longest time on such a low pedestal. Of course it was hard to avoid it when it seemed to be the only thing that was on Alec's father's mind for over a month, Alec let out a small sigh watching Wyatt as he rolled over, and hit his head on the ground? What? Alec blinked, was there something else he'd missed?

Sure the necklace was missing, but it was replaceable, probably. There wasn't any need to hit your head on the ground. On Purpose. Multiple Times. Alec stood up. He just needed to get Wyatt out of here so he could get out of here, so he wouldn't have to be here any longer so he-

... ... ...

Wouldn't get distracted by a stray cat because it was making noise and think for a second there was someone there. Because that's just what happened. "Wyatt stop it!" The words left Alec's mouth before he could think the second he heard the noise of the stray cat knocking over some random trash can. Alec had looked over that way only to find it was a cat, after the small event it had still left Alec's heart racing, making him more aware of his surroundings and the tiniest sounds near him. It was nice to be aware of things, but not when you're freaking out because you heard a stray cat knock over a trash can!

"I-I mean, please stop it.. I w-want t-to go home, I don't l-like being here.." His words nothing more than a whisper now, Alec had looked away from Wyatt now unsure if the boy was paying attention now, but Alec was getting desperate and remembering to breathe the one thing everybody knows how to do was getting hard. "A-and I can't just leave you out here" He said there was no way he was even listening to even a word Alec had just said, while he could've been but that was probably the last thing he was going to listen to right now. Alec was the one who'd put him in this situation in the first place, and if Alec was the one in that situation, he wouldn't want to listen to Alec either.

When Alec told Wyatt to stop, he did, but he didn’t know why. Who was Alec to tell him what to do? For some reason, he listened, so it was more Wyatt’s fault. So he laid there, his face down on the dirt. He was crying. Quite silently, but it was obvious. He knew he looked pathetic but he didn’t care. Everything he was keeping bottled up deep down was spilling out under the night sky.

He tagged on a request because it was obvious Alec wanted to leave. Wyatt didn’t want to be the reason Alec also got beat up if the boys came back. Wyatt deserved this, Alec didn’t. “Can y-y… yyy- you leave m- me he- h- here?” After a small swallow, he added, “please?” He hoped it wouldn’t take a long time to convince Alec he should leave. “You don’t de- deser- d- deserve to g- g- get hurt, A- Alec.”

If a cat scared Alec half to death, what would happen if the boys came back? It’d been a long time, or at least it seemed that way, so hopefully, the idiots were long gone, but still. “I don’t w- w- wwwant to be the reason n- neither of- of us get b- b- back to you- your house.” Wyatt turned on his back. He was only half aware that he was lying face down for the last minute or so. He felt so sick.

It wasn’t Alec’s fault. Wyatt was previously warned about this side of the neighborhood but he went anyway. Still, even though he was just beaten mercilessly, it felt like home. Maybe the brutal one-sided fight was why the place felt so familiar. All this thinking of home made Wyatt think of Perseus. He hadn’t seen him in so long. Wyatt could practically hear an “I told you so” from where he lay.

At this point, he was well aware of his stutter, and he was so embarrassed. He was also aware of how vulnerable he was in the moment. It was all too much at once. The truth isn't very fun, and neither is the present, at least not right now. Wyatt also heard Alec's stutter. It was like their stutters were feeding off of each other, making each other more and more embarrassed. Pathetic.

Wyatt was a crying mess, and Alec felt bad. Even while he was still trying to calm himself down from the whole stray cat incident.

At least he'd listened to Alec, though. Alec almost wanted to hug Wyatt. Hugs were always comforting, at least to Alec. Alec didn't have much experience with hugs, but they did help. Alec wasn't so sure about Wyatt. Hugging him would probably get the wrong reaction. He was upset enough as it is, Alec didn't need to make this any worse, and that wouldn't get them to leave any faster.

Although eventually Alec opted to sit down next to the boy, hoping it would help.. somehow. And all while doing this, keeping a watchful eye. Alec didn't exactly know what had happened to Wyatt, but he had somewhat of a clue. "Can y-y… yyy- you leave m- me he- h- here?" Wyatt said. Alec blinked, leave him here? That wasn't happening.. And Alec was about to speak in protest when Wyatt spoke again, "please?". Was Wyatt crazy?

Who knew what could happen if he was left here alone, especially after this. "Wyatt I t-think yo-" Alec wasn't able to finish his sentence when Wyatt spoke, again. "You don’t de- deser- d- deserve to g- g- get hurt, A- Alec." Alec blinked again. What? What did he just say? It was all Alec's fault in the first place. And Why did he care, anyway? He hated Alec, he went as far as to say something he knew Alec wanted nobody to know yet. It didn't seem like much, but Alec sort of thought they were kinda over the whole enemy thing.

Either way, why did he care? Sometimes Alec felt if he'd gotten just as hurt as Wyatt, Wyatt wouldn't care, anyway. "I don’t w- w- wwwant to be the reason n- neither of- of us get b- b- back to you- your house." 'I left in the first place to look for you' Alec wanted to say, although the information was already known. As much as Alec wanted to get back he wasn't going to leave Wyatt, just yet at least. And he definitely wasn't leaving him alone. Alec glanced over to where the stray cat had been. Maybe he could get it to stay with Wyatt.. Alec's gaze settled on Wyatt again, letting out a small sigh. The boy rolled over slightly. He probably didn't want Alec looking at him at all.

He'd been trying to be so tough throughout this whole summer and during Alec's first year. It must've hurt a lot for him to lose his mom. Sure, Alec didn't grow that child/mother bond that people usually had, but he understood, Alec was sure it would've been nice to have that thought. And now here Wyatt was, hurt and vulnerable, mask gone, for now at least. Alec was getting a bit off topic. Alec looked away, moving a bit away from Wyatt as he sat pulling his knees to his chest. "I-I know this isn't really the time.. B-but your mom, W-wh-what was sh-she like?" Alec's voice was quiet, almost faraway, if that made any sense. And now Alec was going even more off topic now from what was important and he knew it. Even while the question was asked without much that Alec was already preparing for himself to be yelled at by Wyatt. Alec knew he got a bit too nosy sometimes..

Trunk || Encyclopedia || “Rules and models destroy genius and art.” – William Hazlitt
Where Did You Sleep Last Night fin
Quietly, Alec asked, "W-wh-what was sh-she like?" Normally, Wyatt would pounce on anyone who would dare to ask such a personal question, but he was so weak. He wasn’t really in the position to yell. Instead of picking a fight, after a pause he began to describe his mother. “Her eyes were just as dark as mm- mine… but they always had a glimmer of light in them. Sparkling. F- f- full of life.” He looked up at the sky like he could see her standing over him. He sort of did, though. She looked angelic as always, the way he manifested her in his mind.

He continued, speaking at almost a whisper with his eyes cloudy. “She was easy to talk to… such a good listener. She never poked or prodded or tried to get me to speak up. Her voice was soft… could calm me down easily. With a warm and kind tone, but never condescending.” As he described her, the image he created before him became more and more realistic, he felt he could reach out and hug her, but he knew it was all in his head. He wished he could be less aware of reality, even if it was only for a moment.

Alec seemed to disappear, along with the whole world. Wyatt couldn’t hear anything but his own voice. He closed his eyes, hoping it would make the vision of his mother clearer without the rest of the universe messing it up. It worked. “She always wore that necklace... With the Deathly Hallows charm on it… well I didn’t know what it was until about a year ago. It was the only thing that connected her to the wizarding world after her parents cut all ties with her… when she married a muggle.” Wyatt wanted to sleep. He felt like he was floating.

Somehow, talking about his mother relaxed him, seeing her there… even though he knew she really wasn’t there. His stutter had vanished quite quickly. His mother had helped him get over that, of course. She was always there to help him when he needed help. She cared. She was the only one who cared. What was even the point now that she’s gone? Wyatt wondered if his life really had any meaning anymore. He wasn’t really living for anyone but himself now, and that didn’t matter enough to him.

As Wyatt began describing his mother Alec relaxed as well. Instead of his nervous observance, it was replaced with peaceful attentiveness. He could almost see the beauty in this place. As trashed as this side of the neighborhood was, and as many horrible people as there were here, there were also good people. Like Wyatt's mother, Alec would give up so much to have a mother like that. Even if it was only for a short while. Someone who would listen to him when he was upset, instead of leaving him to resort to talking out his problems with himself to cope.

Maybe he wouldn't feel invisible in his family then. The only person who'd made him not feel invisible was Jackie. Because she needed him, or well chose to need him. She could go to anybody in the entire family to ask for help with breakfast, or to ask to play with that person, or even when she got hurt, her first reaction was to go to Alec, she was dependent on him. And she always showed she cared. It was probably why Alec got so upset when he found out Jackie had gone to Wyatt and woken him up instead of Alec. He knew for a fact nobody else in his family would care if he went missing, well maybe a little but just for bloodlines sake. Alec was just an annoyance to them, his interactions with all his family members excluding Jackie were not positive ones..

But hearing Wyatt's words made Alec wish more than he had already, for a mother like Wyatt's. "She seems like a great person, I-I would have loved to meet her" Alec's face turned to a lop-sided grin as he now looked over at Wyatt, "After all, she mothered you.." Alec said then awkwardly rubbed the back of his own neck, his cheeks growing slightly red as he started to feel the need to explain. "W-what I mean is, your one of the strongest people I've ever met.. Considerate when you want to be as well, and respectable too.. Your a lot more than the act you like to put up. I mean you did agree to a tea party with my little sister, as much guff as I gave you for it, I appreciated it.."

Alec left it at that, Alec didn't need to mention that sleep was hard to come by at home or at Hogwarts for himself, that being one of the many reasons for his night outings, and he was happy he got an extra hour or so of sleep that day. Besides all that all wasn't willing to compliment the boy much more because there was no way his cheeks could get any redder, hopefully it wasn't as noticeable in the moonlight. "Tell me when your ready to get up and leave so I can help you" Alec said, and with that Alec's attention turned towards the stars. It was hard not to look at such a pretty sight.

There was one thing he hadn't said yet though. "And um.. S-sorry for the loss of that necklace.. It must've meant a lot to you" Alec whispered, with everything sort of seeming right, if of course that made any sense.

Where Did You Sleep Last Night fin
"She seems like a great person, I-I would have loved to meet her." Alec's face shifted to produce a grin as he turned to face Starkey, "After all, she mothered you." Wyatt was confused at this, to say the least. It didn’t feel like the two were on good terms, and now Alec says he would like to meet whoever created the monster that was Wyatt? What did he mean by “after all, she mothered you?” Was this some kind of sick joke, or a well-crafted insult?

It wasn’t long before Alec rightfully felt the need to explain himself. Wyatt didn’t move an inch and stared at the dark, star-less sky above as Alec spoke. "W-what I mean is, you're one of the strongest people I've ever met.. Considerate when you want to be as well, and respectable too.. You’re a lot more than the act you like to put up. I mean you did agree to a tea party with my little sister, as much guff as I gave you for it, I appreciated it…"

If Wyatt wasn’t so helpless, he could’ve strangled Alec for his kind words. It was so embarrassing… being complimented. Being put on this strange pedestal even for a few seconds. There was so much pressure up there Wyatt felt like his brain was going to explode. He could never really take compliments. It was always so jarring to be praised after hearing so much negative things about yourself all day. It confused Wyatt, and he didn’t like being confused.

It only really clicked in Wyatt’s head the words Alec was saying later. “A lot more than the act?” What act, thought the tired, bloody Slytherin. Wyatt was almost losing sight of what he actually felt and what he told himself to feel for so long. Everything was just melting together at once, and the fine line between real and fake feelings was becoming more and more blurred with each day. Wyatt didn’t know who he was.

And wasn’t it ridiculous for him to think he had it figured out? How old was he now, twelve? That’s not a large number. Sure, it’s double digits, but double digits is also ten years old, and that’s not a lot at all. Wyatt felt himself drift into madness, going over meaningless thoughts in his head. Was he trying to escape the reality that his pain was catching up to him as the adrenaline from the initial fight wore off? Definitely. Pain wasn’t fun to feel.

Reality was so awful, wasn’t it? And being only twelve in this reality was unfair. Wyatt wanted to choose another one. A reality where he grew up a boring muggle in a boring town with boring parents and a backyard. Then he wouldn’t have to be here, in this awful place. On the ground, with dirt in his hair, and two black eyes, and a broken nose and Merlin knows what else. Wyatt thought all this as he stared, blank-faced towards the sky.

No stars tonight. Well, there has to be. Maybe it’s just light pollution from all the streetlights nearby making it hard to see the stars. "Tell me when you’re ready to get up and leave so I can help you." Wyatt snapped out of his daze and turned his head to face Alec J. Mason. He was still there, it was really him too! Blue eyes, curly hair and all. Odd, it felt like it had been years since he last said anything, but since when did time mean anything.

"And um.. S-sorry for the loss of that necklace.. It must've meant a lot to you." Wyatt blinked. Oh yes, he remembered. Thinking about the loss did make him sad, but he thought about it for a moment, then spoke up, hoarsely. “My mother always wore the necklace… if she wanted it to be safe she would’ve been buried with it.” Wyatt sighed. “I think she gave it to me because she was done with it. What happened to it after she left doesn’t matter.”

Wyatt ran a hand through his hair, and when he saw it again, it was bloody. He smiled a crooked smile. “Do I look scary,” he asked childishly, but sincerely. He wanted an answer. After all he put Alec through all summer, the last thing he’d want to do is scare him. Wyatt wondered if this was real Wyatt or fake Wyatt giving him these thoughts. Did he really care about Alec, or did he just care about looking presentable in front of people?

The night was peaceful, Alec had concluded. Not with what had happened, but the aftermath of it all. No more arguments, hopefully..And no more locking Wyatt of the house, unless he does something incredibly stupid, then maybe.

It had been a quiet few seconds till Wyatt spoke up, "My mother always wore the necklace… if she wanted it to be safe she would’ve been buried with it-I think she gave it to me because she was done with it. What happened to it after she left doesn’t matter." That wasn't the point. It didn't matter if she valued okay well it did but still not the point. It mattered if Wyatt had. It was hard to think Alec had come to a point where him and Wyatt were on decent terms, enough to speak like this, and annoying to think something most likely was going to happen again that would mess things up, and ruin the summer Alec had wanted before knowing Wyatt was going to stay with them.

But as Alec thought about it he realized this was a better summer than he could have hoped for, at least things happened, at least this summer he'd have stories to tell. "Do I look scary," Wyatt sort of asked. "No" was Alec's answer without even looking back at him. But eventually Alec looked back at Wyatt, he grimaced as he looked at Wyatt in the state he was in.

Not realizing how bad it was till now. Alec shook his head offering Wyatt a grin. "Still no. Your much more scary when you've lost your temper, then when you look like your going to need my help to get home" Alec answered. "And this means the person who's going to need my help to get back should try to stay on my good side" Alec said, meaning it mostly jokingly as he kept his gaze on Wyatt. "In all seriousness. How bad does it hurt?" Alec asked, his grin fading to a concerned look.

He wasn't gonna lie, it did look bad. He couldn't even begin to imagine how Wyatt felt. "What did you do that got you that hurt, anyway?" Alec asked, that was also a good question, wow Alec you are on a roll with these great questions, you are also getting sidetracked, so if you're not too busy with this, focus please.
