What Book Are You Currently Reading? - page 2 - Games Room

I’m currently reading the Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter. I just got done with the most recent book: Veil of Shadows.

I would rate the book a 9/10. I always enjoy the warriors series and I feel the authors do a good job at conveying the feelings of the story to the reader. The only downside is that the books are actually written by 4 authors that go under one name so certain physical descriptions and whatnot can get mixed up. But I also think it’s neat that 4 people collectively write the story.

Book: The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon

Author: Stephen King

Description: (I haven't finished because this is what book I am Currently reading but so far) A girl, Trisha, get lost in the woods after getting tried of her family's argument and trailing off to go to the bathroom. She can't find her way back. She listens to a sports podcast of the Red Sox game featuring her favorite player Tom Gordon which is the only thing keeping her sane as she moves further into the woods.

I'm working my way through the 6 book Land of Stories series. Currently at book 6, "Worlds Collide"
I had my doubts but this is incredible

Book: Miss peregrine’s home for peculiar children, The Conference of the Birds

Rating: so far an 8/10 I liked the previous books of the series a lot, and so far this one is quite good too.

Book: Royal Assassin

Author: Robin Hobb

Rating: 7/10; very well written book with Hobb's great, stylistic prose. Just suffers from a couple of tropes that make some sections a little annoying. Otherwise an amazing book.

Book: The Devil in the White City

Rating: 8/10, but I am pretty early into it! I just love that it is non-fiction but written in an interesting way.
