Survey: Nick's Potential Pet

Which pet should Nick get?
Nick was one of the top three point earners this month so that means he gets a pet of his choice! Problem is, I've had an entire month to decide this and I'm completely torn on the pet he should get. I've narrowed it down to a rat or a pygmy puff so let's see what the community has to say!

Brown Rat
The rat is probably the pet I'm less likely to regret after I get it. It's a reliable pet that has a lot of rp potential due to rats' friendly personality and smarts. The only thing is that it definitely couldn't interact with cats. IC wise, Nick would most likely get this since it's a small generic pet that his mom wouldn't be upset with. It's one of the cheaper pets though so I may not be taking advantage of the reward I've gotten.

Pink Pygmy Puff
The pygmy puff is probably the immediate pet most people would go for since it's expensive but it makes me feel like I'm gloating my reward in a sense. I feel like it would have a lot of rp potential, especially with some fun "hide the pet from the parents" solo threads since Nick's mom wouldn't want a pygmy puff. Getting this pet would also be a good step in the arc where Nick sheds his toxic masculinity views over time since pygmy puffs could be considered "girly".

Survey: Nick's Potential Pet
I voted for the Pygmy Puff. Why? Cuz I visited Nick's ency page, and saw that he likes piano and other similar things, which for me reflects his inner character as a gentle and sensitive person. A Pygmy Puff would be perfect since it's more hug-able and fluffy than a rat, and I think it'll help Nick channel his needs (regarding his tendency to feel rather than to think, if I may put it this way).

Hello everybody! Thank you to all who answered the poll and gave advice on this choice. With almost twice the amount of votes than the rat, and some very good opinions in the community, Nick will be getting a fluffy pink pygmy puff! Once again, thank you guys so much for the help!
