Soon after capturing the fourth base for the honor and glory of Hogwarts, Cassius was quickly put to task in its defense. Again the ruffians from Durmstrang attempted to claim the base for their own and again they were rebuffed by the desperate efforts of its Ravenclaw defender. A shout of joy was released in jubilant victory by the young boy as he quickly scouted out his surroundings for any additional threats.
And threats indeed did loom. Again, it seemed, the ramparts would be stormed by the barbarous besiegers that had been unsuccessful in their initial assault. Again it would fall to the young Ravenclaw to hold down the castle to the last man in a brave defense of the citadel. Glory and honor awaited him in the great hall should he succeed!
...Or something like that. An overactive imagination if ever there was one. Still, a defense he would put up for the base that he had first claimed and then held. Crouching low, he primed himself for the oncoming threats, reading to pounce and outmaneuver any who dared attempt to claim that which rightfully belonged to the great school of Hogwarts!

Interacting as Iris Fields
Iris was starting to get into the game. She could feel her mind running through possibilities. Her every muscle tensed and ready to spring into action. Pure adrenaline was coursing through her veins. Her work in the forest and agility from martial arts certainly packed a unsuspecting punch.
Iris dove for the flag, watching as one guard went for the Hogwarts student that previously went for the flag and the other one went for her. Iris rolled onto the ground, barrel rolling under the other student’s outstretched arm and closer to her target. In one motion she popped up and reached up for the ceiling, winning Ilvermorney their next point.
Iris heard the loud Hogwarts announcer’s dumbfounded talking and smirked. She turned to him and winked, giving a short bow before returning to the game. All she needed to do was get these two wannabe guards out of the way and get Ilvermorney a second point.
Iris knew that by doing this, she was likely to loose a few popularity points. However, if she managed to win the game despite all odds, she could also earn a few extra popularity points with the athletic kids. It really didn't matter now. She was getting really excited with everything going on and was determined to win this thing.
Time to ignore her inward thoughts and instead focus on winning.

@Rafael D'SpacitoJust as soon as I had been placed in jail, waiting for the time to tick past, I was released. With a small smile towards the Hogwarts moderator, I nod to him before sprinting as fast as my legs could carry me over to base III, a base neglected by my team up to this point.
I am not evasive, but I am strong and possess a fast hand. I can defend this blue flag to the best of my ability. I trust my other teammates to advance on the enemy, meanwhile I shall attend to my Keeper abilities, a sort of pre-warmup for the game which still lays heavily on my mind. I am not worried at all, but I must dedicate myself to my craft.
As I go, I keep an eye on any individual who may already be coming my way, attempting to steal the base while I was still hustling towards my target. Perhaps I could sneak up on them if they didn't realize that one of the shortest members of the Durmstrang Quidditch team was actually much faster and stronger than they realized.
Blue eyes set, I put on one final burst of speed, focused solely on the blue banner that is the Durmstrang pride.

Capture the Base
Much to his dismay, he had almost been captured. Luckily, one of the other Ilvermorny students came up and snagged the flag while he provided as the beautiful distraction. That wasn't abnormal, with his charming good looks he was usually the best distraction. He shook off the other girl, wiping off where she had touched him in an attempt to make him her prisoner. He nodded in admiration at the other girl who had done the sneaky play and who bravely took up the spot to guard. "Got it." He started a small jog, surveying the playing field before spotting another Ilvermorny student gunning for base 5 despite it having not one, but two people guarding it.
He quickly ran to catch up and storm the base with her. "Typical Thunderbird. Running in without a plan." He found that Thunderbirds and Horned Serpents could work incredibly well together, as long as they were able to cooperate instead of butting heads as those of the brawn and brain usually did. He hoped that his ability to catch her plan before executing it would aid them in capturing yet another base. They had started as the underdogs in having the least amount of people on the team but were quickly proving themselves to be incredibly adversaries.
After all, America was incredibly good at capturing things that weren't theirs.

Interacting with @Ivy Bellamy and @Ruby Cazares
Open to interactions!Being a prisoner was completely фигово. Vita had always (albeit grudgingly) considered her mother a hero. Now, however, she was finally getting a taste of the torture the fierce woman inflicted upon your average deadly criminal. No wonder she got into so many epic chases. Even Vita, a totally innocent teenager who definitely didn't know how to deliver a perfect punch, would run in the opposite direction of a pair of handcuffs. She had never been so bored in her life.
Okay, perhaps bored was the wrong word. To be fair, her English had never been stellar. She almost felt... itchy. It was annoying watching her schoolmates defending their honour when she was stuck on a bench. So annoying, in fact, that her hand twitched towards the pocket where she kept her wand more than once. What harm could a sneaky curse do? Especially on some unsuspecting American student whose base they were so unceremoniously trapped at. That speedy blond girl seriously deserved some of her own medicine, and Vita would have been only too happy to oblige.
Unfortunately, if she got caught rulebreaking, it would likely mean more time in prison. And that was something she definitely did not want. Besides, it looked like a long-legged angel was coming to rescue her from hell, even if she was a little rough around the edges. Vita's lips quirked at the memory of Cielle's creative language. She found that she actually... didn't hate the girl. And from Vita, that was high praise.
"Thank you." She told Cielle simply. She wasn't certain if her schoolmate's attempt at a rescue would be considered passable by whatever rules the strange boy holding the megaphone had made up. He really was bizarre. It wasn't like there was a giant audience to their game and Vita hadn't heard of any blind people taking part. So... why did he feel the need to shout about everything that was going on? Surely it would help his team of students if their enemies were a bit confused... but maybe people just weren't as smart in England.
Speaking of smart, Preobrazhensky certainly had a smart mouth on him. It took Vita a full second of open-mouthed gaping to realise that he was, in fact, joking with her. Unessecarily. They obviously had different ways of passing the time in jail. "It's no luck that we're facing freedom again." She raised her eyebrows. "We're just the superior school." And, for very slightly longer than usual, Vita blinked. If Vyacheslav so desired, he could even interpret it as a wink.

It seemed as if with every moment that ticked on, the game plunged into a new and more daring chapter for those eagerly watching its events – from the birds’ eye view that was the announcer’s podium, the Gryffindor Captain couldn’t help but grin vibrantly, his eyes alight with the absolute intrigue he felt deep within his chest. It truly was a competition, and an intense one at that, the same sort that seemed to tug the boy forward with an invisible hand or artificial new gravity, his posture leaning forward in anticipation as he awaited what would happen next. So far, the Americans had stolen the lead – a stunning feat, given they were sorely outmatched in numbers. Well. It wouldn’t be the first time, the boy supposed with an inward shrug. Even so, it seemed as if Durmstrang and Hogwarts were grappling tooth and nail to catch up, a scale that could tip given the actions of any brave and ambitious individual. What would happen next?
“Ilvermorny leads by a base, while Hogwarts and Durmstrang fight to keep up! Come on, guys, don’t let the Americans steal what’s yours! Again,” he muttered sarcastically. Was that a historic joke? Rafael was full of surprises today, wasn’t he? But now wasn’t the time to stress abnormal behaviours – no, it was time for commentating. Which meant, unfortunately, putting his horrendous attention span to use. Speaking out loud, he rubbed his neck, a sign of anxiety, the sort he would never show on his face – “It’s still early, anything could happen,” he supposed with a shrug, gazing off into space. “Even so, Durmstrang is playing fiercely and Ilvermorny is… somehow making up for their lack of numbers.” Then, looking at Tyr, “Here’s to hoping we can take back the lead.”
“Only time will decide.”

──────Arjan v Lydia──────The commentators may not have noticed it at first, but the capture of Ariana Walker had certainly turned a few heads. Or, perhaps it had turned one of the only heads that mattered – after all, it wasn’t any ordinary student that had heeded danger’s call in this case, but rather the lucky Hufflepuff Lydia Cooper that had set her eyes upon the first base, her gaze determined as she bravely stepped into the field. Perhaps it was the girl’s way of representing her team, or maybe she and Ariana were more friendly than Rafael could have anticipated – regardless, there was hardly a time where the veela girl didn’t succeed when she put her mind to something. The girl, from afar, would appear focused, her feet carrying her forward in perfect steps, much like a jackrabbit bounding across the field as she approached the base. It seemed extremely likely that Lydia would find what she sought.
However, as lucky and skilled as she had been on the field, it seemed as if Lydia had met her match this time around. After all, Arjan was quite obviously a much older kid – was it wisdom that led to his victory? Skill? Blind luck? It didn’t matter now. The reigning champion of Base One would reach out in one swift and precise movement, his hand just narrowly brushing the clothing of his lovely opponent – Lydia had been captured, her fate a sentencing to the bench alongside Ariana. An absolute shame, especially to those commentating. From the announcer’s position, one would be able to hear a howl of anger – “Are you kidding me right now?” Rafael would growl to Tyr in disdain, referring to yet another loss by the swift hand of Arjan Oberoi. “ARGH.” Then, lifting the megaphone, he decidedly droned his next commentary. “Lydia Cooper’s attempt to save her teammate proves unsuccessful. Durmstrang prevails over the first base!”- Roll Tracker -

──────Phylicia──────Ilvermorny had undoubtedly been leading a valiant and widely-impressive effort in defending their school’s name from the taint of defeat, anyone watching the game could surely notice, much to the chagrin of the heavier-numbered European Teams. What was with Americans, and taking things? It didn’t matter, Rafael supposed. Let it never be said, however, that the Americans weren’t careful – following a spectacular capture of the second base via the swift and deadly tag-teaming skills of Everett Brooks and Phylicia Stanwood, the two players had shortly split up, Rett setting his gaze upon a new target as the fearless Phylicia decided to stand guard to the property she had acquired for her team.
Strangely enough, it seemed as if her efforts would be… well, more effortless than she may have anticipated – it was quite odd, how not a student turned their gaze towards her humble corner of the field, nor did anyone attempt to steal what she had rightfully acquired. Perhaps the girl was intimidating, her streak of success a weapon and bragging right in and of itself – or maybe the other players were simply distracted, uninterested with that of the second base. Whatever the case, she would have no trouble this round. Oh, well. Better to save her energy for a time she would need it more, no?Phylicia, uncontested, automatically retains possession of the second base.
Base III
──────Greta & Romeo──────Though Durmstrang wasn’t exactly winning the competition thus far, they certainly weren’t losing. After quite the ambitious Round II, the Scandinavians, alongside the juggernaut Americans, had succeeded in ripping the infamous Hogwarts from their deluded thoughts of grandeur – however, if the progression of the game was anything to go by, a lead could be easily lost. Durmstrang seemed to realize, thankfully, that to play a good game, one had to recognize that sometimes a good defense could be the best offense. One of the captors of the base, Greta Fransson, was at least ready to put this concept into practice – she, and the strangely violent Romeo Marchonne would stand seemingly stoically beneath the shade of the white tent, a steely wall between aggressors and their territory. Would stealing the property be at all possible, when pitted against two of the mighty members of the Durmstrang Quidditch Team?
It seemed as if Rafael would never know the answer to this inquiry – the base, for the progression of the next five minutes, would remain completely untouched by the hands of the other participating players. Which was odd… how was it, that yet another base had escaped the attention of the other teams? Looking towards his co-commentator, he raised an eyebrow in confusion. “What is with the lack of offensive attacks?” he muttered questioningly aloud. “Don’t you think it’s weird?” Perhaps the answer was closer than he realized, however, because it would be then that it would occur to him – a lot of players remained imprisoned, shackled by the rules of the game. Which made for lousy competition… he’d best call a jailbreak soon, then. For now, though, perhaps it would be better to simply allow some of the players time to catch their breaths– those in jail and those guarding.Greta and Romeo, uncontested, retain possession of the third base.
Base IV
──────Cassius v Alexei──────The playing field, it seemed, had been suffering from a lack of offensive attacks, judging by the effortless defense attempts from the second and third bases – however, this status would not hold for long. After all, Alexei Petrov was not at all pleased with the flawless defending skills of Hogwarts’ own Cassius Eden, having once again picked himself up from the jaws of defeat and turned his gaze to the fourth base, his mind set on bringing his team closer to glory. What did they say… third time was a charm? How many times had Alexei failed? What drove the charming Russian to reach for his goals with such unwavering conviction? The boy seemed focused, his eyes glued at his target as he advanced forward towards the flag – would he finally succeed in stealing the base?
Seemingly not – the Russian was fast, but Cassius was faster. After successfully defending the fourth base multiple times in a row, one would think the child a seasoned war veteran, prepared for anything the other teams might throw his way – his hand would strike out at just the right moment, forcefully brushing the clothing of his opponent and sentencing him to jailtime… a shame for both Alexei and Durmstrang. But a victory for Hogwarts. From the commentators’ position, Rafael couldn’t help but gape in shock – a third defense? Can someone get this guy on a broom and in front of some hoops? “Cassius Eden successfully defends the fourth base! Again!” He couldn’t help the mad grin alight on his face – perhaps Hogwarts still stood a chance. After all, the game was still young.- Roll Tracker -

──────Amadea & Lizzie v Everett & Iris──────Fate was a fickle creature.
Perhaps it had gotten tired of watching the lovely ladies Lizzie Verdine and Amadea Campbell in their lucky streak of inactivity. After all, the two hadn’t found themselves with a chance to properly defend the base through means other than intimidation and pure charm as of yet – did they relish the tranquility? Despise it? It wouldn’t matter, however, for they would soon find the action they had been missing. After assisting in quite the spectacular attack against the second base, Everett Brooks must have picked up on the proverb of strength in numbers – it wouldn’t be apparent to the commentators, whether the advance on the fifth base was premeditated or not, whether Rett had purposefully sought out Iris with the intent of overwhelming the group with numbers, or they had simply had the same idea at the same time. Regardless, the showdown that was to ensue would be the highlight of the third round – the two Americans rushing the Golden Base, and two Hogwarts students defending, it looked as if the playing field had been evened. So, who would claim the victory?
Lady Luck, as it seemed, was against Hogwarts in this particular venture. The turn of events would be difficult to properly understand from the angle the Captain stood – however, the outcome would be unmistakable. A red flag now hung from the rafters of the base, placed by who, he didn’t know. The ladies, as well, had been tagged, much to the chagrin of the commentator – another win for the American Team. Disappointing. Rafael couldn’t help but sigh dejectedly, his lips pursed in disappointment. “Bambi,” he sighed wistfully. “Now, that’s a real shame.” Nonetheless, he had a job to see to. Lifting the megaphone to his lips, he cleared his throat, announcing the news. “Everett and – er, company?” the Captain didn’t know the girl’s name, “– capture the fifth base for Ilvermorny!” then, shaking his head, he looked at Tyr, a frown playing at his lips. “The Americans are on a roll. ──────Cielle & Rudolf──────The word that built and destroyed teams – unguarded.
This was, in the least, the status of the sixth and Ilvermorny-possessed base. Which was reasonable – the Americans only had so many people playing for them, their team compiled of four skilled yet merely human players. There was only so much you could do with such a small squad, and when multiple of those players were guarding other territories and infiltrating other bases… there were bound to be gaps, and noticeable ones, at that. The gaps, in this case, didn’t go unnoticed – Durmstrang victors Cielle and Rudolf had caught the lack of defenses about the sixth base, seeking opportunity in the midst of a field consisting of much more pricey endeavors. It was a free lunch, and the group had found it first. Smart bunch, Rafael couldn’t help but think with a small smirk. The turn of events wasn’t ideal for the Hogwarts-based commentator, but if it meant taking the Americans down a notch, he supposed it was a necessary evil. Take that, Rett.
However, rather than claiming the base and pushing their team into the lead, the two Russians chose loyalty – it was no secret that in the last five minutes of playing, Slava and Vita had failed to defend their base and themselves from the fiery wrath that was Ilvermorny. The two Scandinavian players sat idly on the ‘prison bench’, alongside Alan Vanes, who had also been subdued in the midst of all the craziness – however, their imprisonment would remain short-lived. The savior duo Rudolf and Cielle would shortly approach the bench, their hands reaching out as to free their comrades from the confines of prison. The two freed, the gang of Durmstrang students could promptly escape without fear of being caught.
The group may not have captured a base, but they had won nonetheless. A big stupid grin upon the face of the commentator, he lifted his megaphone, once again letting the field know the turn of events. “Durmstrang succeeds in raiding an Ilvermorny base, freeing two of its prisoners! Way to go, guys!” The Captain could hate Durmstrang all he wanted, but the boy was a sucker for friendship… if that was what it was. “Isn’t that sweet, Tyr?” he couldn’t help but state with a small smile."Durmstrang has a heart, after all...”
Cielle and Rudolf, uncontested, automatically succeed in freeing Vita and Slava.
Base VII
──────Karilyna v Cash──────Representing the Americans like a boss, Karilyna Kawahara had long since claimed the mighty seventh base from the second year Hogwarts camper Charles Simmons, standing guard over what was the fourth Ilvermorny Base. Perhaps the captor and the captee had found some sort of likeness within each other, for it seemed as if the two were entertaining some sort of dialogue – how cute, the Captain couldn’t help but think with a small grin. However, whatever interaction was going on within the farthest base, would be abruptly cut short by a new challenger, one of the more dangerous players on the field. Downfall was always followed the resilient and quick-footed Cash Ironwoods.
The Slytherin camper had set their eyes upon the playing field, breaking into a steady run as they advanced towards the prize lurking in the distance. Could they secure the base for their team? It wouldn’t be easy, that was for sure. Karilyna was a fearsome child, after all, her very presence reeking of a fearful, discomforting scent as she leaned forward, ready to intercept her enemy. However, Cash was much stronger than they let on – pushing out the overwhelming fear, the camper would be able to duck under the outstretched hand of their opponent, jumping up as to secure a golden flag in its position. Hogwarts had stolen an Ilvermorny base, putting them neck-and-neck with Durmstrang once more.
Karilyna would be quick to realize her defeat – recognizing her loss, the girl would soon flee from the seventh territory, and into the safety of another, far from capture via the fearsome Slytherin camper. Charles, on the other hand, would find himself released back into the game, free of the confines of the once Ilvermorny base. Meanwhile, in the commentator’s position, Rafael allowed a big, boyish grin to take over his features, glowing as he lifted the megaphone to his lips. “Way to go, Cassie!” he yelled, shoving a fist in the air, unaware of their alternative monicker. “Cassandra Ironwoods secures the seventh base for Hogwarts!”- Roll Tracker -

Alexei's outfitSo, that wasn't what Alexei had planned. Not only had he failed again at capturing the base for his school, but now he had managed to get himself captured instead. He crossed his arms and scowled darkly as he scanned the field and impatiently waited for a chance to free himself.
All of the bases had been claimed, with Hogwarts and Durmstrang each at two and that American school at three. That was impressive since the American team seemed to be half the size of either of the other two. That was promising though since it meant they likely would have difficulty claiming more bases for their school, especially if they were captured.
He also appeared to be the only prisoner from Durmstrang, which meant that the majority of his team were still out there trying to win the game. Glancing about, he saw his teammates being actually productive, which made him more irritated. For all his trash talk at the start of the game, he was now stuck being utterly and completely useless. He was definitely going to get shit for this later. As he waited, he began to absently kick the ground, making a dent in the dry soil. His expensive shoes were dirty, but he wasn't sure if that was from his violent assault of the ground or just because he was running around.

Capture the Base
Playing as Ilvermorny iNPC Phylicia Stanwood
No one came towards her. At all. The redhead frowned. Well... okay then. At least Base Two was still Ilvermorny's, but, honestly, it was boring. She would much prefer even several of the opposing players coming at her; just because she lost to them didn't mean it would be bad. What she really wanted was the rush of adrenaline.
Karilyna lost her base, but it was fine. After all, four of them weren't going to be able to do much against the two other teams, and their success so far was a testament to the skill of the American school. Might as well stay here, hold down the fort a little longer. Having just one base for her team to fall back on was a good idea, right? Come on, come at me.
In the meantime, she listened to the commentary. Huh, apparently several of the bases hadn't had any action for a while. Maybe it was because of all the people in jail? She glanced over at her prisoner, who was still sitting where she was supposed to. Turning her gaze back to the field, Phyllis jumped up and down to keep herself active, hoping to see a bit more action this time around. She was here for the fun, after all, not necessarily to win.

Capture the Base
≫ ──── ≪•◦ ❈ ◦•≫ ──── ≪
@Willow Anderson [as Everett 'Rett' Brooks] | @Amadea Campbell | @Katrina Walker [as Iris Fields]
Lizzie crossed her arms and squinted her eyes shut. She and her partner had become prisoners. That was defiantly very unfortunate. All at once two of the stupid Durmstrang people had come and taken the bas like it was theirs for the taking. It wasn't like it was always going to be Hogwarts' but there was that lingering feeling in the back of the girls mind thinking she had failed her team.
"Uhh.. You foreigners are quite annoying." She said to the boy who had come and ripped the base out of her hands and grasp, "I didn't mean that in a bad way. You are just.. very good at sports." Her whole goal of the game had just disappeared into the void of nothingness. Lizzie was not a happy girl at all. Even Roo's words of comfort through the mega phone could not help her up out of the dumpster.
There was nothing she could do now. She had become a prisoner to some silly kids. All Lizzie could do now was sit there and grumble around hopping someone would come to her rescue. Also come and help Amadea. She didn't not want the older girl to suffer either. It was something that both of the girls probably would try take revenge. Lizzie knew she would be doing that. "What bad luck we have." The girl sighed and looked out to the rest of the game.

Capture the Base
Interacting as Iris Fields
Iris noted, as she sprinted toward the next base, that another Ilvermorney student was right beside her. She knew she should turn back. There was no point in going for a base that already had an Ilvermorney student going for it. They were already behind in numbers. It turned out that two more students were protecting the base. So maybe two was better after all.
This attempt was so much like the last time. It seemed the other students weren’t prepared for her to be so agile. Iris noticed one of the Hogwarts students [Lizzie] going for her, and ducked into a somersault under her outstretched arm. She popped back up to ensure the flag was theirs and changed the flag. The whole maneuver seemed really complicated, but honestly, anyone could do it if they were determined enough.
The referee seemed dejected that his team was loosing and Iris sent a proud smirk at him. She dusted her arms off from the little bits of rock and dirt that had clung to them from her quick maneuvering and refocused on the game. One of the girls who had been guarding the base looked annoyedly at the two Ilvermorney students.
“Well I’m glad your lack of athletic abilities annoys you. It does make this game much easier,” Iris said this with a helping of sarcasm. She didn’t necessarily want to make an enemy, but the adrenaline was taking the option of not saying anything at all, away. Hopefully, she’d not hold a grudge.
Iris took care of that base and moved on to the next. Ilvermorney was going to win if Iris had any say in it.
