“Mother, we will be late unless we part with the Springhalls.” Lindsey heard Airlia talking to Mrs Winter.
It was good to make new friends. Especially when out of Hogwarts.
“Ah, forgive me and my family, Mr. Springhall. My family and I mustn't be late for our dinner.” Mr Winter said.
Her grandfather smiled. “A pleasure to meet you all today,” He said in his usual friendly tone. “I really hope to see you and your lovely family again.”
“Good to make new friends, huh?” Edmund said to her in a low voice.
Lindsey nodded. Meeting the Winters was surprisingly pleasant and interesting, and somehow the youngest Springhall girl wished to stay longer.
She glanced at her brothers. Enjolras was smiling as usual, and Combeferre seemed a little bored. It was a pity Perseus had to stay in the dull Linfield manor, Maximilien had to learn those foolish etiquettes in the grand chateau, and Qynn had to prepare for the dumb muggle high school exam (but she’s a witch!).
“It was lovely to meet you all. We hopefully shall see each other at the ball.” Airlia smiles at them.
“Yeah I believe so!” Lindsey merrily grinned.
The Springhalls soon parted the Winters.
“A merry day, I guess?” Combeferre asked, while yawning.
“You don’t think so?” Enjolras asked back.
“Well at least I pretty like it. Good to see someone in Hogwarts here.” Edmund answered.
“Pity she’s not in Beauxbatons.” added Combeferre. “But anyway I’m pretty hungry. Let’s get back now.”
“Alright then.” Lindsey said after her cousin.
Then, they all followed their grandfather and stepped on the way to Barricade Mansion.
All in all, it’s a fine day.
