To Read, Or Not To Read
The boy would be sitting by a shelf doing the same he always does, reading, more reading, and maybe, just maybe, reading a little more. After meeting a few students in Hogwarts he was more confident to start conversations, but even with his new skill, he preffers to choose this library as his best friend, nothing seemed better than the smell of books and the feeling of completley at peace, nothing else matters when he is inmersed in a good book.
He still believes that interacting with other people is important to keep your sanity, after all, the style of life he has lately is quite lonely, just reading, sitting around the great lake, walking around the halls, or just laying in bed at the dorms ignoring his classmates, sometimes he didn't really ignore them, but when they started a conversation he never really joined it, he thought it was quite awkward to talk about the topics they talked about, they only talked about sports, which was truly more interesting than trying to sleep and being bothered by his classmates being loud while talking about their love interests.
He can't understand most people, but maybe someday he will find a friend that won't judge him for his very strange lifestyle, or even better, maybe he will find someone that convince him of doing nonsense.

To Read, Or Not To Read
Matrix would walk into the library to check out a book to help him with his potions homework. When he walked over to the shelf, he would see a boy sitting near it. He would walk over to the shelf and began looking for the book. “Hello” He would say to the boy, trying to create some small conversation. “ How are you?” He would ask. He would then realize that he may not want to be disturbed as he was reading. “Sorry if I disturbed you” Matrix would scan the shelf but would not find the book. He would then look again, his finger brushing past the spine of each book. He would sigh as he could not find the book. Someone probably checked it out before him. He would then take out another book. ”Guess I’ll just settle for this” Matrix would think. He would take the book and sit opposite to the boy. He would stare at him for a second and open the book looking through the table of contents. He would smile in relief when he found that this book also covered the topic he was looking for. He would flip to the page and his smile would leave his face. There was barely any information! From the corner of his eye, he noticed a book on the boy’s side of the table. “Can I please borrow that book?” He would ask the boy, not sure if he was using it.

To Read, Or Not To Read
The boy would look up at him, closing the book he was read while tilting his head, he seemed slightly confused, after all, he is not used to talking to people that much, yet, he spoke.
''Well- I already finished it so- you can take it- just- do remember to leave it back on it's shelf-'' The boy would stutter, as he reached for the book and handed it to the stranger. Aldor would remain with a slight smile, as if he just did not care, but his hands would betray him once again, as always they were shaky, and his cracking voice would not reflect peace and calm.
Aldor would clear his throat quietly, as he tried to think of something to say, even thought he felt like the stranger might be in a hurry and not up to talking, with a random kid who is sitting by a shelf with an absurd amount of books by him.
Finally he gathered the courage to talk.
''I am Aldor-'' He would fidget with his thumbs, as he kept thinking about what to say. ''I'm a first year Hufflepuff-'' He'd pause for a moment, taking a deep breath. ''So- What is your name?-''
Aldor would try to remain calm, even though he felt like this was an extremly awkward experience

Matrix would reach over the table and pick up the book. “Thanks!” He would say with a warm smile. The boy would introduce himself to him. “Nice to meet you Aldor. I am Matrix Kaida and I am also a first year in Hufflepuff!” He would say happy that he met someone new who is in the same house as him. The boy did sound a bit nervous but Matrix did not mind at all. “Do you come here often?” Matrix would ask curiously. Matrix barely came to the library. He would usually just check out the book he needed and would be off. In fact, this was probably the longest he had been here. He needed to get better scores on his homework, so he decided to stay in the library for a longer amount of time so he can maybe learn more stuff.

The boy would take a deep breath, doing his best to think of an answer, until the boy asked him if he came to the library often, he felt a chill running through his spine, as he opened his mouth to say something.
''W-ell- I come here very often, I preffer to be here than just sitting at the dorms-'' He would stutter as he waited, until Matrix aasked something he never really thought about.
He has never stopped to think what his thoughts on Hogwarts are, he thought for a short time, as he bit his lip, and spoke quietly.
''I guess- I'm ok with everything that is going on- My aunt seemed happy that I was able to enter Hogwarts- even though- I still imagine things I could've done if I was not here, but my aunt would not be nearly as happy as she is right now-'' Aldor would pause, as he shivered, thinking of his next words.
''I guess I'm glad that at least someone is happy about my achivements- you know? Maybe I'm not skilled on- anything except for baking but- this place is not really bad- I'm good here- there's- books and- a lake- and books-'' Aldor would chuckle softly, as he paused.

To Read, Or Not To Read
Aldor would tell him that he could of done other things instead of come to Hogwarts. “So do you even want to be here?” Matrix would ask him bluntly. A few seconds later, Matrix would suddenly stare at Aldor, wide eyed. “OH MY GOD, HOW INCONSIDERATE OF ME!” Matrix would exclaim, forgetting he was in a Library. He would hear a couple “shhh” and would feel a couple stares. He would shift in his seat, nervously. “I am sooooo sorry” He would whisper. He was so bad at interacting with people. Before he came to Hogwarts, he did not even care for other people’s opinions of him. He would probably be somewhere new within the year. But now, here in Hogwarts, the friends he makes now may impact him for the rest of his life. He would let out a deep sigh.
Aldor would be telling him something about baking. He would give him a blank stare before nodding along. “Baking is fun” he would say without knowing the contest. He hoped he had said something that fit the situation. He probably seemed weird to the boy, and he did not want to act even more. He could still salvage this potential friendship. Aldor would tell him that he liked the books and the lake. “Yes, the lake is beautiful. He would say remembering his jog in the morning. “The books, huh.... truthfully I some of them quite boring.” He would say, not realizing that he just acted rudely again. “B-but some of them are really cool” He would say a little flustered.

To Read, Or Not To Read
Aldor couldn't do more than smilling and chuckling quietly, usually he is much more serious, but this time he seems to be having fun.
''Well- what do you usually bake?'' Aldor would start to throw out several tips and tricks on how to make a wedding cake, mirror glaze, a spicy mango sauce to add to a tropical styled cake, or simply a jelly donut, until he stopped, realising he might be overwhelming him.
''W-ell, the books here are- kind of a treasure for me, I mean, I understand people's opinion on some of them, in fact-'' He'd lean closer to him, looking around for a second. ''Even I dislike some of the books here-'' He'd return to his original position, as he held his own wrist. ''But of course- I do not always find them boring- they are just- not my taste, you know?''
Aldor would brush some of his hair away from his face, as he stayed in silence for a bit, he seems confused, for some reason this random boy showed up, and his shy and non talkative personality faded, it feels like he is actually having fun, after several bad experiences trying to interact with someone, this seems to have worked out quite nicely.

Aldor would ask him what he liked to bake. Matrix would think for a moment, truthfully, Matrix did not bake very often. He remembered he had made a bath of cookies a few months ago. “I make cookies sometimes” He would say. Aldor would then suddenly start giving him tips about random stuff. Matrix, utterly confused would nod along, acting as if he knew exactly what he was saying. “I’ll definitely remember that for next time” Matrix would say, though he would be pretty sure he would forget everything before he exited the library. “What do you like to bake?” He would ask him back, it seemed like he can bake a lot of stuff but he wondered which was his favorite.
Aldor would tell him that he felt that books are like a treasure. Matrix would nod, this was something he could relate to. “Yes, some are. A few are so fell written, you can learn so many things without reading 10 other ones about the same topics. Fiction books also, some can take you to another world, it’s so cool to visit the authors imagination.” Matrix would say exited. “What type of books do you like?” He would ask him. Personally, he loved all kinds of fiction books. Aldor would tell him that he does dislike some books, but never found them boring. This was interesting to Matrix. What does he think of them then, does he just dislike it?” He would wonder.

Aldor would think for a moment, he never really tried to think of what is his favorite type of book, yes, he has many options, since he reads a lot, but it is still quite confusing for him.
''I like books where the villan wins-'' He would remain quiet for a bit, as he started to fidget with his thumbs again.
''I do not think I have a reason that makes sense- I just feel like- the hero in shining armor beating everyone is too overrated-''
He would take a deep breath, thinking that he probably seemed like a total creep, why would anyone preffer the 'monsters' and 'villans' over a super strong and powerful hero?
''It is a litte sad that there is not many books of that kind, because again, the hero is always loved, while the 'monsters' always hide and their fate is already known, being defeated by the hero who can always save the day-'' He stoped for a second, as he stared at the ground.
''What are the real reasons for someone to be evil? Or for a creature, to be a monster? Maybe, people is just messed up enough to simply do it for fun but- what if other creatures do it because they are full of grief? what if they do it because they were harmed in some way, and those who harmed it never ask for forgiveness, or try to solve their mistakes?-''

Aldor would tell him that he liked books where the villain wins. Matrix would nod at this. “I know exactly what you mean. In a lot of books I emphasize with the villain, and in a few I actually agree with them. But then I have to remember that the hero will win. It is so satisfying to see the hero lose sometimes” Matrix would say with a sly grin. “As you said, the ‘knight in shining armor’ is way to overpowered sometimes” He would say with air quotes.
Aldor would then tell him about some people do not deserved to be called evil. Matrix would nod at this too, he had never thought about it, but he was beginning to agree with him. “Sometimes the villain is just different from the main character. That does not make you evil! And other times where the villain was just socially awkward. Just because people can not understand there intentions, does not make him bad!” Matrix would say, ranting.

Sometimes people could feel like he is to hyper, but he is just showing his enthusiasm. He hoped that Aldor would not think that he was weird.
