The tent was book-themed. Of course. Most of the walls were covered in bookshelves or posters, with several smaller tents inside it to mark separate areas off, like that bathrooms and the quiet area (for peaceful reading).
A large Ravenclaw eagle was painted onto the inside of the door/front flap, and several smaller ones could be seen in random areas around the tent. It was a very house-directed place, and was obviously not made for Hufflepuffs or Slytherins or Gryffindors.
A bunk bed took up the middle of the room, and was fenced off by more shelves (although these ones were empty - Miranda could only get her hands on so many books) with openings at all the corners, since the shelf-fence was shaped as a square. While the majority of the tent had polished wooden floor, the center square had a base of navy carpet that would leave footprints behind as you walked on it.
The tent was an altogether comfortable place, with couches and sofas placed randomly all around the center square, but probably wouldn't strike a Hufflepuff or Gryffindor or Slytherin as somewhere they'd like to stay.
Miranda had already made herself comfortable on one of the sofas, her eyes fixed on an amazingly thick book with no title. If someone entered, she probably wouldn't even notice. She was in her own little world, and the tent had ceased to exist for her, at least in the literal sense.

Margaret walked into the large tent decorated in blue and silver. There were posters and banisters by the openings of the tent. There were bookshelves in the first room with a sitting area and a silvery-blue rug. There was a lamp with a blue shade on the lamp. The room already seemed extremely blue already and she couldn't stand any more blue than there already was so she decided to use the large yellow light, hanging at the top of the tent.
The next room (that went straight out from the doorway) was a kitchen/ dining room. There were supplies for cooking and there was a square table by the edge of the room, with a blue table cloth and 3 darkly colored wooden chairs by it.
In another room connecting to the first (sitting room) was the bathroom, Margaret suspected, she could only see a white-colored sink and a fake wooden floor. It was to her left. It seemed like a very nice, orderly, and very clean room.
She noticed the curly, shining, blond hair of Miranda Everest. Margaret knew that she would be bunking with Miranda and she was also used to Miranda being off in her thoughts so she didn't disturb her.
She could see a small bit of another room from the left of the kitchen. She went into the kitchen to get a better look. There were even more books around the bed and some dressers and other things as well. Margaret set down her stuff and then walked out to see Miranda.
She sat across the chair and smiled with a nod.

Miranda glanced up when Margaret sat down, her expression startled. "Oh, uh, I didn't see you there," she said with a small smile. Her book fell open in her lap, revealing an artfully drawn image of a rearing horse with a man wearing an armored green robe on top of it. If one had sharp eyes, they would be able to make out words written in and around the portrait, but if not, it would simply seem like a normal image. Also, the book was upside down. Apparently Miranda had been trying to read all of the disguised words, and since most weren't the right way up, she'd had to twist the book around in order to read them all clearly.
"Do you like it?" she asked, waving one of her hands in a circle around her head before quickly putting it down. Her expression had melted into one of suspense, as if she were waiting for a negative answer. "I know it's a bit book-ish, and I wasn't sure whether you'd like that...or not."
Miranda's smile wavered, then solidified again as a look of calm acceptance replaced the wariness. If someone were interested in such a pursuit, they'd no doubt have a field day trying to figure out what each expression truly meant, because each had layers that took time to discover.

"No, actually I love the books. I brought one of my own but I'm almost done with it so I might try one of these." She smiled, kindly "well, then again I am a slow reader so I might not need them but they're nice to have either way."
She then looked around at the extremely blueish room covered with posters and banners. "I do think it's a bit too blue though, you?" She sked and waited for Miranda's response before saying "do you mind if I change up some of the colorations a bit?" Margaret asked.
Some of the posters were of the quidditch teams and others of wizarding things or interesting paintings from the muggle world. One of the posters was of the Irish team the other was of the Sweedish team -the two teams playing against each other that game- were on the walls. Personally, Margaret favored the Irish team but she wouldn't take down the Sweedish team's posters just in case Miranda liked them. She enjoyed the art on the poster anyway. Another poster was of a dragon, others of other adorable wizarding animals. There were also a few posters of landscapes and of still lives, from the muggle world.

"Oh, well, I guess that's good then?" Miranda replied, slowly closing her book and setting it down on the sofa's armrest. "And the colors?" She glanced around quickly, then grimaced. "Yes, I suppose it is a bit blue. Feel free to change it if you'd like."
For Miranda, the only important parts of the tent was the bathroom, the beds, and the books. She hadn't worried much about coloring, and had simply settled on shades of blue for the sake of their house, and the fact that it was the easiest color to get her hands on. Although now that she really had a look around, she couldn't help but agree with Margaret. It was definitely blue.
A bit of color couldn't hurt anyone, though. Miranda looked around, but short of using colored paint, magical color-shifting spells, or simply taking down the blue posters and other decorations (since she had no replacements on hand at the moment), she couldn't see a way to switch it. And since she wasn't exactly used to memorizing spells that she deemed odd or particularly focused, she had no idea how to paint anything with magic. Maybe some kind of transfiguration would work? If she focused really hard and did the right one...?

"You're probably better at doing a transfiguration charm than I am," Margaret said, reassuringly "since you're a second-year and all. What color do you think will go best with blue or actually we can just do your favorite color since almost every color goes well with blue?" Margaret said monotony, although on the inside she was actually pretty excited about this trip. "I can help you replace some of the blue" Margaret offered taking down some of the blue banisters, but leaving some of them up, Margaret still liked the blue color just not too much of it.
She helped Margaret take down some the blue so Miranda could replace some od, of course, if Miranda needs help replacing colors she would help but Margaret assumed Miranda would do better with it than she would. Then Margaret went back to reading her book, only for a moment. She really only read a sentence or two before she looked up again "I wonder when the game starts" said Margaret, more in a questionary form than in a statement way.
She was really excited for the game, quidditch was among one of the only sports she liked and her favorite team would be playing that weekend, she didn't know what time but she knew it was on Saturday.

"Why don't we go with white as an alternate color?" Miranda suggested, reaching into a stack of papers that looked like they'd been left on one of the bookshelves and forgotten. They were all posters, most in shades of white and pale grey. "These were the only other thing news I could get, but I didn't bother using them. On the bright side, it looks nice with the blue, even if it's quite colorless."
She started replacing several of the previously blue posters with the newer ones, effectively toning down the navy shaded waves. "Yes, much better," she murmured under her breath.
After the decorating work was done, Miranda backed up until her back was pressed against the front wall and surveyed their work. "It looks...much less blue now," she decided with a nod, before glancing over at Margaret, who was reading a book.
There was a pause, then the other girl glanced up and wondered aloud when the game would start, in a way that made it seem only a bit like a question and more like a random factual statement with a question mark at the end, at least to Miranda, even if Margaret meant for it to be a question.
"Probably pretty soon," Miranda replied, walking back over. "Which side do you want to win? The Hufflepuff house or the Durmstrang students?"

"Oh it looks much better," Margaret said with a smile "great job Miranda." She said with high positivity. She looked around at the room which was still blue but tuned down. The tent really did look great, it had some house pride but it wasn't overpowering. She smiled at the color theming, white was the perfect color to go with blue and for some reason, Margaret didn't think of it.
After Margaret has asked what time the game would start Miranda replied that it would probably be starting soon and then asked which team Margaret wanted to win. "I'm hoping Durmstrang will win. I mean they're all just so cool, I mean their presentations are amazing right?" Margaret asked rhetorically then continued "but I would also be happy if the Hufflepuffs win. Which team are you cheering for?" Margaret inquired. Margaret thought dazedly about the Durmstrang team, she thought they were awesome and she had always wanted to be on the team even though she probably would never make it.
When Miranda answered her first question Margaret asked "how many quidditch games have you seen?" Margaret really enjoyed quidditch and watched it whenever she was able since it was among the few sports she liked, I mean how could you not like quidditch, it's so cool. She thought.

"Honestly, I haven't really decided," Miranda replied with an apologetic smile. "My Quiditch knowledge is mostly book-based, since I've never actually gone to a game before...and, well, books don't really explain it all that well." She shrugged, her expression a bit wistful and sad. Her parents had always been too busy with their work, and had never had enough time to schedule pleasure trips with their children. And they also hated how unpredictable a match could be. For all you knew, it could last months. Definitely not the best pastime for people who liked their day nicely predictable and orderly.
"So yeah, my first real game," she repeated, shrugging yet again, as if apologizing. "It'll be an interesting experience, I'm sure. Compared the everything I've read about the sport, and how much all the best ther students and wizards I've met have talked about it..."
Miranda sighed and brushed her hand against the book spines as she walked by, slowly making her way closer to Margaret so they didn't have to talk fr M opposite sides of the room. "I know it sounds funny, I really do. But my family, well, we've never been exactly average. And the only time we've ever came close the going was canceled because of some, uh, personal problems with monthly timing."

"Oh," Margaret said "yeah I see, well I can promise you that you'll love it, trust me. I've been to about 4 games and I loved every single one of them. They were amazing-some better than others (she mumbled)- but all amazing none the less. The Durmstrang team always wins- well almost always, there are exceptions to everything (she added)- but they don't always catch the snitch, honestly, they only really catch the snitch 80% of the time, which is surprisingly low. I mean usually, when you catch the snitch you automatically win but use the Durmstrang team is 110 points or 150 points ahead of the other team and when the other team catches the snitch Dumstrang is still 10 or 50 points ahead." Margaret explained. "You know the snitch just gives you 100 points hat doesn't necessarily mean you win even though it usually does. I mean after the Durmstrang team one so many times without even catching the snitch you'd think the other teams would learn not to catch the snitch so soon but apparently not." Margaret smirked. "I can't wait for the game, I'm so excited," Margaret thought out loud. "Do you want to see if anything is going on outside of the game, you know on the grounds, or just stay here and read?" Margaret asked.
