Interacting with Team White, RPing as Alisa Sokolova
Well, that was nothing short of embarrassing. Alisa hadn't managed to cast her spell properly two times in a row now, and it made her look like a fraud in front of P- Maksim and Mondolez. If she wanted to get a reputation in Durmstrang that wasn't being a geek or her cousins' punching back, then this was the time and place to do it. If these boys considered her formidable, there was a good chance that their friends would think the same.

Alisa hated running away. She hated being the butt of the joke. But exactly that was what was happening right now, and despite her instinctual, perfect dodge in the first round, she now had a part of her jeans on flame and hadn't even landed a single hit on the Hogwarts girl.

Her blue eyes roamed the field, her fingers gripping her wand so tightly that her knuckles shone white. Then she saw a familiar face in the crowd of onlookers. Milena was there. Her friend had come to watch her fight, to watch her win. She waved at her other girl once, her face into a frown.

Alisa took a deep breath. She could do this.

Roleplaying as Kheanu Maravilho Mondelez | Interacting with @Alexx Séverin and the rest of Black Team
The Mondelez boy looked all kinds of fierce and formidable as his wand slashed across the air—not very much unlike the way he brandishes his Foil during the fencing competitions he almost always wins. "Oops." Kheanu exclaimed unapologetically at his target as he watched his elegant Flipendo connect quite strongly, smirking and blowing his opponent a kiss as the spell knocked the foreign student down on her ass. He might have slightly overcompensated from his earlier mishap with the wayward Incendio Duo and perhaps have exerted heavy a hand with his next offensive spell.

"I'm so sorry." He called out to the opposite team in a sickeningly-sweet tone. "I'll be sure to go easier next time!" With a wicked grin, Kheanu Maravilho Mondelez widened his stance and flipped his silky blonde hair over his shoulder, ready for the next course of action.

The show was only getting started.

𝓐madea cast the fire making spell yet again toward the rook; she was a Hufflepuff, right? She could totally do this. As the spell was cast, she watched as it found it's target, hitting the rook across from her and leaving the girl on fire. Amadea internally cheered for herself; this was good. She was doing well.

Unfortunately, it seemed like her teammates weren't fairing as well. Cecily was now on fire and it appeared that both Adam and Alexx's spells had backfired. All in all, things weren't looking great at the moment. But Amadea knew that things could change in an instant; one round and everything could swing in their favour. All she could do was cross her fingers and hope that the next round would prove to be more successful.

Cheeky, Dymphna thought. She couldn’t understand what Kheanu had said to the other team but his tone was enough to go by. Oliver, on the other hand, made it very clear. It was getting harder to ignore the boys crush on her, seeing that he was so open about it. Another time, perhaps they would discuss it but now wasn’t it. They seemed to be fairing better than the other team. Perhaps they could win but Dymphna didn’t want to let her guard down just yet. Would the next round go as well as she hoped?

Oliver fired a flipendo at Cecily only for it to fly past her, missing the speedy girl quite wide. However, the boy was merely distracted as he watched Kheanu use the same spell so hard-on that it seemed to have stunned Alexx. Getting a little too excited, Oliver pumped his fist and did a little clap of the hands. Then he clenched his fist, remembering the game was far from over. He had to remain focused and fight just as hard even if they were ahead.

Cecily breathed a sigh of relief as the flames accosting her arms petered out, leaving her fairly unscathed, save for a singed shirt and a couple of burns. The girl behind her was not quite so lucky, though-- expecting to see a flash of light emerge over her shoulder, as it had for the past few rounds, Cecily was shocked when she heard the incantation, but saw no light. She twisted around to make sure Alexx wasn't knocked out already, and as she did, she finally saw a beam of light fly around her. It wasn't friendly fire this time, though-- it must have been Oliver's spell, carefully aimed but not quite hitting the blonde as she turned away just in time. Closely following Oliver's fire, however, was another spell, and this one not meant for her. She bit back a smile as Alexx, likely distracted by her own misfire, was knocked on her ass by a beam of light hitting her squarely-- a flipendo from the other team. Of course, it probably wasn't funny to Alexx, but Cecily could barely keep from letting out a chuckle.

Cecily contemplated helping Alexx up, but ultimately decided she was better off using the time to help their team in other ways. Alexx was perfectly capable of standing up through her own power, even if she had just been hit by her own incendio. Cecily just offered the girl a sympathetic smile before turning back to face the opposing team. She shot Oliver her best death glare, frankly quite annoyed at him for targeting her even though it only made sense, before quickly planning her next move.

Once again, Adam's over-eagerness proved to be his downfall. Last time, when he'd tried to dodge a spell that hadn't even been coming his way, he'd just looked a little silly. This time the consequences were a little more severe. He wasn't sure which part of his Bubble Charm had been too vigorous, but he had a feeling that part of the problem was in his attempt to aim the spell at two different squares. He waved his wand, spoke the incantation, and bam!

He didn't cover two squares. He didn't even cover one — well, he supposed that wasn't true. Adam's own space was mobbed by golden bubbles, covering every bit of his skin that they could latch onto. He had a feeling that it was going to be hard to move around for a while. Adam's face turned red with embarrassment (on the bright side, he doubted anyone could see it through the bubbles) and he tried to talk himself up from the mistake. He was a better wizard than this. He could do better. His team was counting on him to do better.

Alexx had been.... knocked down? Well, down was better than out, but none the less, she had to admit that she was surprised. She had been doing so well so far doing... Effectively nothing but not getting hit. And that was at the very least a good thing, because she needed to not get hit, and part if Alexx hoped that she could get by as a sort of wallflower. But she did suppose she was an easy target considering she wasn't very magically equipped at the moment it seemed. That was okay, Alexx knew how to stand back up, even if her pride was damaged.

The only thing she could hope is that it didn't happen again, because someone was going to need to put this in the paper and the last thing that she did need was for her very own paper to say that she was knocked over, because as hilarious as that would be if it were anyone else, it would not be very hilarious to Alexx. She would be humiliated and her life would be over. She would have to change her name and transfer to Beauxbatons, or Ilvermorny even! And even then both of those may be too risky.

As it seemed things were not exactly working out in their favor. Not at all, but he still didn't believe in failure and if it occurred for some unbelievable reason and they lost, then it certainly would not have been his fault. The near fifth year was clearly ahead in skill level. With a judgemental frown he would watch one of his team mates fail their spell critically, making the bubbles backfire on him. This did not exactly look good for him but he it was just a small let down he hoped. He would give him another chance to proof himself, gracious as he was feeling at the moment. He would sigh as he glanced at his teams positions, trying to figure out the way each of them thought. Perhaps it was time to change his tactic, even if it was just a small bit. Everything for the win, right? His eyes would narrow slightly as a malicious grin found its way onto his face. He knew exactly what he had to do and it had to be successful. He needed to win this, proof himself to everyone and show them their place. This would be fun.
