Words that Vyacheslav says that are in italics are in Russian.
Time passed quickly—apparently Slava got lost in the joys of food and having noise and people around him, and didn't realise that the situation had changed for a while. He smiled at the pretty girl who had spoken to him earlier. “Yes, I am Vyacheslav, or Slava,” he confirmed, as his brother had already introduced him. His name was unfamiliar and long to many British people, and he didn't think he needed to make it hard on them by forcing them to call him Vyacheslav. Slava was much easier. Snatching a soda, he moved closer to Maksim to hear what he was saying. “She's pretty, yeah, but so is this lovely lady.” He tried to indicate that he was talking about Lucia, but didn't want her to realise that. Was her last name significant? She had included it, but he wasn't particularly interested in pureblood circles, especially those that were outside the countries that contained students who could go to Durmstrang.

“I'm not too sure about the divide and conquer thing today when there's food around. I think I've found someone I want to mess with. Best be off!” His words were accompanied by a wink. Turning back to Lucia, he said, “Pardon me, but I have to go talk to someone. It was good to meet! Again speak, Lucia?” Distracted by now, his English was not as good. With a wave, he slid off.

A mischievous grin appeared on his face as he popped up by an unfamiliar boy just in time to swipe the sausage away from him. He had been staring at it so lovingly that Slava just couldn't resist the use of it to tease the boy. He had no clue who he was or how badly he would take it, but it didn't matter to Slava whether he got into a fight or ended up with a new friend. It was sort of similar, right? In the short moment while he waited for the boy's reaction, he glanced back at his brother. From the little snippets he could catch of the conversation—which were very hard to make out—it seemed like he and Alexei were arguing. Ah well. They could handle themselves, and it was expected that they would disagree sooner or later, as they seemed to have clashing personalities. Normally, Slava would probably butt in, but he was busy right now. He had a person to mess with. Besides, it seemed like they were now moving on, as Maksim was focusing on a girl. Slava figured that she was the one who his brother had been talking about when he had said that he had his eye on someone. He rolled his eyes halfheartedly and turned back to the boy.

Santario received her burger back cooked to perfection, just a little pink left in the center, and the cheese perfectly melted. After receiving her plate, she realized that Caradoc had gone to light the bonfire. Her eyes widened slightly in excitement; fire pictures were simply amazing to take. With a look back to Thomas, she would offer him a smile while her sapphire eyes danced with excitement, probably the first time he would have seen it. “Passion calls.” Her quiet voice holding an intensity that matched the excitement that the rest of her face showed. With that, she would wander away from the barrel-cue and towards the fire pit. Her right hand holding her burger, and her left hand extracting her camera.

At the firepit, Santario set her plate down on an empty bench and rested her bag carefully on the ground next to the bench. Regardless of being hungry, the burger would probably be eaten in her tent when it was already cold. Such was the life of someone who put their passions before their personal needs. She pulled her camera out, gently dethatched the current lens from it, and nestled it securely in her bag before extracting her Macro lens. Once that was finished, she set her camera down next to her plate and pulled her hair back into a low ponytail since she had no plans on letting her hair go up in flames any time ever.

With her camera back in hand now, she squatted down next to the fire, but not close enough that adults would freak out, that was the reason for the macro lens. The point of the usually hidden shorts under her sundress was for this very reason because sometimes she forgot she was wearing a dress. She could be seen adjusting the focus and zoom of the lens and her position as she snapped away.

Ginny looked up and saw two boys standing before her. "My name is Andrew Lycan," said the tall, blond one ("Drew for short") - and then, pointing at the short, small slip of a black-haired boy behind him, "And this is my friend, Gregorí."

At first, Ginny thought that this Andrew guy was joking, or perhaps trying to flirt with her. (Okay, that assumption was getting too much - but well, who can guess?) How on earth could these two boys, one completely the opposite of the other, became friends? Drew, tall and pale in colour and cheerful; Gregorí, small and dark (again, in colour) and serious-looking. Without realising it, her eyes kept on switching from looking one of them to the other.

Luckily for all of them, however, in a split of second Ginny remembered Claire. Claire was one of her closest friends; the native Hawaiian girl had much darker skin tone than the Caucasian-Asian Ginny, and she was much more happy-go-lucky and talkative than the shy Ginny. Remembering Claire, the Hufflepuff gave herself a silent nod inside her head. If the two of them could be close friends, why couldn't these two boys?

Giving them a friendly smile, the girl gestured for them to sit with her. "Yes, I'm from Hogwarts," she answered Drew's question. "House Hufflepuff. How do you know about our houses? I assume you two are Ilvermony students?"

If dialogue is in italics, Maksim is speaking in Russian.
"Oh, um, napkins? Okie dokie!"

Oh, he liked this girl already! Winking a goodbye to poor Alexei Petrov (@Anastasia Beckett), Maksim allowed himself to be steered away from the horde of girls around Petrov, with the gorgeous redhead accompanying him. How much luckier could he be? Smiling sweetly at the girl guiding him away from Petrov and his new fan club, he gently placed his hand on the back of Frost's arm. If she allowed him to, he'd hook his arm through hers, like they were an old couple in the 50's taking a stroll in the park. If not, then he'd just awkwardly drop his hand and wave it off, like it was no big deal.

"Can I tell you something? I have no idea where the napkins are."

Maksim snorted along with Frost, chuckling in delight. "So you want to get away from Petrov and his girlfriends, did you not?" he chided gently, an amused smile playing around his lips. He liked this girl, he really did... she was spunky! British girls (he could only guess that she was British, from her accent) were so exotic and foreign, with their spunk and funny way of speaking. "You're so pretty, you know? Like a flower, or an angel," he added, with another gentle smile at the much shorter girl. "Petrov wouldn't deserve a girl like you."

Spotting Dolf out of the corner of his eye, Maksim waved a casual hello to the boy. If he wanted to join them, he obviously would be welcome— it was hard for him to ever turn someone away in a social situation. Then again, Dolf looked quite comfortable just sitting there, watching the proceedings around him. He would never force Dolf into a situation he didn't want to be in— after all, he was trying to make friends with Novikov, not drive him away. Out of the corner of his eye, he also noticed that Milosh seemed to have some interest in coming over. Hopefully, neither Dolf nor Milosh would be interested in trying to chat up the Hogwarts girl he'd managed to yeet from Petrov, but then again, Maksim felt like they weren't all that interested in girls.

"So," he said calmly, turning back to Frost. "As I do not actually need a napkin, I suppose the two of us have quite a bit of time on our hands, yes?" Remembering that he was a gentleman and Frost was, of course, a fair lady, Maksim inclined his head gently and pressed his free hand to his chest.

"I apologize! I forget my manners when I see beautiful women, you know," he said, with another wink at Frost. "My name is Maksim Preobrazhensky... but of course, just Maksim is alright." Gesturing to the barrelcue and the drink stand, his voice took on a worried tone as he inquired, "Have you eaten? Would you like something to drink? Do not ever let a Russian keep you from eating, that would be a travesty. I'll accompany you, if you'd like! Or we can just sit and chat.

"I know I have many, many questions about you."
Yeah, like do you have a boyfriend?

Drew did not miss how the blonde girl had looked back and forth between Greg and himself. Drew almost sighed in exasperation. Couldn't he be best friend's with who he wanted to be without getting judged every corner he turned? He liked spending time with Gregorí. It wasn't like he pitied him or something.
The blonde seemed to accept it and finally answered him.
"Hufflepuff... The yellow house, right? The one with the badger and all the loyal and kind people?" Drew said, trying to remember what Rose had told him. "Yeah, we're from Illvermorny. But my cousin goes to Hogwarts, we're good friends. Rose? Rose Moon, have you met her?"
Drew stretched his arms over his head and cast a glance around. His eyes snagged on a lonely-looking girl. She was from Illvermorny, he had seen her before... But he couldn't remember her name. Camille? No, that wasn't it. She wasn't a Wampus, he knew that.
Anyway, he waved in her direction and yelled, "Hey, you wanna come join us?"
She might just look at him crazy, but this was Drew. Take it or leave it.
Also, in her hesitation at them being friends, the blonde girl seemed to have forgotten to introduce herself. "What's your name? I didn't catch it." Drew let her off easy, not trying to make her feel bad.

"The yellow house with the badger," Ginny nodded. She was not sure how to react to Drew's remark on the loyal and kind part, because it was partly a common thing people said about her house Hufflepuff, but it could also be interpreted as a kind remark - that Drew believed she was that kind of person, kind-hearted and loyal. Ginny ended up saying nothing about it, and she regretted that she could find no appropriate way to response; but unbeknownst to the girl, her eyes spoke it all, that she was happy and grateful for hearing the boy's words.

Drew also asked if Ginny knew his maternal cousin, Rose Moon, was also attended Hogwarts. "I'm afraid I don't," she replied. "Nice name your cousin has. What house is she in?"

Just then, Andrew waved to a curly-haired girl, asking her to join them. Did they know each other? Ginny supposed so. The dark-haired girl looked like she was lost, so Ginny assumed that she was another Ilvermony student, like the two boys before her.

"What's your name? I didn't catch it," said the blond boy, making her realized that in fact she had never introduced herself. "Oh yeah, right. Sorry," the Hufflepuff apologized. "I'm Ginny." Normally people would assume that it was short for Virginia, and sometimes the girl would explain that it was not - it was short for Ginevra actually; but today she did not bother. Drew had expressed that he did not mind her calling him by his nickname even though they had just met, and Gregorí had not even said a word, so it did not matter whether or not they knew her full name.

It was because the Mexican boy had not said anything that made Ginny quite surprised when suddenly he piped in, his tone actually friendly, "Ginny? That's a pretty name."

Ginny seemed greatful and happy, though which part, Drew wasn't sure. Maybe about the kind and loyal part? Maybe she took that as a compliment? Either way, Drew was happy he had made her happy.
"Aw, I'll tell her you said that. She doesn't get compliments on her name super often," Drew replied, smiling at imagining the embarrassed smile on his cousin's face when he told her. She asked which house Rose was in. "Oh, she's a Gryffindor."
"No need to apologize," Drew instisted when she tried to. "Greg and I were just talking about how horrible my memory is."
Ginny. A cool name. It could be short for just about anything, or it could be just her real name. Drew was not as surprised as Ginny when Greg spoke up, complimenting her name. "Yeah, it is a pretty name... Ginny. Do you know why you have it? Like, what made your parents choose Ginny? Does it mean something?" Drew asked, curious. Ginny wasn't a super popular name. "And what about you, Greg? Is there a story you know behind your name?" Drew didn't mean to push him out of his comfort zone. He knew that if Gregorí didn't want to talk about it, then he would just shrug and say no. But maybe he wanted to share the story behind his unusual name. They had never had a conversation about their names before.

It was gone. Swiped - snatched - right under his nose! or tongs if we’re going to be logic . To have his previously ecstatic mood disintegrate into a feeling of utter despair in a matter to seconds, it was a moment of rushed emotions that were too sudden and changing to ignore. A visual representation of those emotions was shown on his face clear as crystal. To what was a bright grin was now quickly morphed into a grim scowl. “ Excuse me, you sausage thieving dipstick, I- “ noticing the thief’s mischievous - his speech abruptly stopped. Hanako was ready to go full-on-insult mode if the thief was a mere accident, makes it much more entertaining to see them scramble and tumble over their words and apologies for stupid things like this but that wasn’t the case at the moment. No, this one here- the sausage thief- he meant to do it. To commit a devious crime all for the fun and joy of the victim’s reactions. This guy, he’s doing something Hanako would’ve done. Which is both concerning and intriguing to the Japanese boy. Hanako himself almost fell for it.

“...Believe ...you are a good man.” he finished, his tone calmer than before. Just because he fell for it for a few seconds, didn’t mean Hanako wasn’t going to play at his own game. “ Totally would have done the same thing and while I’d like to compliment you on your actions - it’s my bloody sausage.” He stated with a fake grin. Fake as it looked, there was no denying the new playfulness in his eyes. Sure, he didn’t really care that much about that one sausage. There was literally a plate full of them. But this guy didn’t need to know that and Hanako was merely playing the game the stranger started. Surely, he should get his fair share of entertainment from it.

Say, stranger, how about we strike a deal, hm~? For the sausage and your disappearance from my sight in a few minutes- how about I take you on a date at the quidditch game everyone is so excited about? I’ve been told I’m a wonderful company~. So good that I’ll knock either your socks or your body into a freezing body of water~” The way he said it so innocently and playfully made it difficult to decipher if he was joking about that last part or not. “ What do you think? Quite a catch you have here hmm~?” as to openly show how serious he was about his offer, he used his free hand to confidently swipe back his imaginary back hair and added a cute face as a cherry on top. Without another word, he held his plate closer to the stranger , his too-happy smile never fading.

The sausage, sir?"

In all honesty, Caroline was a very blunt kind of person, and due to the fact she was usually all "black and white", the serpent could sometimes make the mistake of assuming everyone was like that. Assuming the Wampus kid hadn't come to over to talk to her, Carol would've called it a day and strolled back to her tent. Though thankfully that never happened, and even though she was quite supprised, Carol would not be the type of person to turn him down today."Oh-uhm. Sure!" She replied back with an unusual smile on her face. The serpent grabbed her burger plate and lemonade, standing up from her small table to walk over to where the boy was."I take it that your from Ilvermorny? I'm a Horned Serpent myself."Carol asked the boy with pride as she mentioned her house, though it would be very hard not to see her proudly talking of her family or house in public. Her proud nature could sometimes come off as arrogance in many situations, though this was simply how the girl was raised. To depend on her pure family name was what Carol's family expected, the very name that had stopped at nothing to get its way in the past. All the more reason Caroline never liked to dwell on her history with others, you never know who's going to keep secrets in the end.

Interacting with @Rose Moon (as NPC Drew Lycan)
Mentioning @Lucille Williams (as NPC Caroline Belindez)

Drew said that his cousin, who was a Gryffindor, did not have her name complimented often and promised Ginny he would tell her. Of course, name was a matter of taste, but still, Ginny found it a bit surprising. For her, Rose was a name that sounded delicate, pure, and humble, but not weak; so why not people liked it? The same applied to her surname. Naturally people could not choose to which family they were born to, although some people did change their last names as adults, and in her opinion, Rose was lucky to have Moon as a surname: the sound was dreamy and magical.

It seemed that this compliment on Drew's cousin's name that changed the subject of their conversation to names. Drew asked her why she had been named Ginny as a baby - he had also called another girl to join them, but Ginny felt like she was only interested in conversing with Drew. However, Drew (and Gregorí) seemed to be ready to listen to her story, so Ginny began anyway. "It's short for Ginevra actually. Ginevra is an Italian name; I was named so because my mum is Italian. Dad thinks it's only fair that my sister and I bear Italian first names since we will inherit his Japanese surname anyway. But Ginevra's a mouthful, so it's shortened to Ginny. What about yours?"

Andrew also asked his friend Gregorí to share the story behind his name. He seemed okay sharing it with Drew and with Ginny, but somehow he did not look very comfortable with the girl who had just joined them.

Gregorí knew who she was: Caroline Belindez, his fellow first-year in Horned Serpent. They were not very close though, in fact he did not know her that well. He did not know whether or not he could trust her, and he certainly did not feel comfortable sharing a personal story like his name in front of this student. To say it in a brutal honesty, he had been classmate with her for almost a year now, and he still could not decide whether he enjoyed her company or not (partly, of course, because of his own tendency to keep everything to himself, so he had not mingle with lots of people). Which was terribly odd compared to his feeling toward the Hogwarts' Ginny; he had just met her, known her for less than an hour, but already he felt comfortable around her. Sure she might be shy (this was obvious), but Gregorí had decided that he liked her anyway.

He did not mind sharing the story behind his name to Drew, and honestly even to Ginny, but he did not really want to do it in front of Caroline. He gave Drew a more later, OK? look, and promised himself he would tell Ginny if he had another chance, and simply said in front of everyone, "Gregorí is a variant of Gregory." And then, perhaps irrelevantly, "As in Saint Gregory the Great... if you've heard of him."

Turning back to Drew, he asked the same question as Ginny: "Yours?"
