The Nerds Need A Lesson
Welcome to hell, friends! You have a two post minimum, and the two hundred word minimum still applies! If you wish to continue on this thread, please feel free to do so! I will most likely continue to post as long as you do. So have fun! Also I am sorry for the long wait.
The day had been a bright one. The sun was out, but a stiff breeze made itself known as two Ravenclaw children, and a singular Hufflepuff prefect made their way towards an empty plot. Sadly it wouldn't be a pleasant walk, considering that Mister Jack Warren had decided to drag the couple across the relatively well-kept grounds. Maybe later he would feel bad for what he was about to do to the castle's well-manicured lawn, but now only his annoyance and anger reigned supreme. A strong heave forward, the two other kids that Jack had forcibly brought along were pulled in front of Jack. "Alright, you two nerds." The fire in his eyes had not been quelled, but a rather sadistic look was starting to peek through the anger. The payback was going to be worth the snot on his badge, or the boy's constant grousing. "Now here comes the fun part." Pointing at the ground under the couple's feet, Jack just grinned. "You have until sundown to dig a suitable hole. Maybe if I'm feeling generous I will find you some shovels, but for now, get to diggin'." There was nothing else for Jack to do besides sit back and relax.

The Nerds Need A Lesson
Interacting with @Jack Warren and @Thomas Baines
As much as a blazing sunlight usually greets an atmosphere of optimism, Breana's current situation is far from it. She hoped that she would boast to her parents on how her current academic record was spotless. How she was a good noodle, submitting her homework on time, no infractions from prefects nor staff. Not even stealing a cookie from her seatmate during lunch. Unfortunately. that aim for such a star in her records is now unreachable in her grasps.
The prefect responsible for such discipline, Jack Warren, tugged the tiny child forward. Breana shot her head up as Jack spoke up, his voice rattling the little Ravenclaw awake from the denial of this being a dream. The tan-skinned girl looked down to where Jack was pointing, a bit perplexed for a moment before her perception slowly put two and two together. As Jack's instructions solidified her assumptions, the girl's sweet little doe eyes widened in shock. "A time limit?!" Breana exclaimed in shock. As if the punishment wasn't bad enough with digging through tough grass, they have to do it before the day ends.
Breana glared over at the boy that started the whole mess, Thomas Baines. If he weren't so lack-a-daisy with her pleas, then none of those would've happened. Well, every wix for themselves, right? Being someone that has no problems getting down and dirty, she quickly flung her uniform robes off (and possibly throwing them at Thomas's face). She was wearing a pretty little floral patterned dress, her favorite one in fact, but that's not stopping the ambitious little eagle from following the prefect's orders.
In an odd twist of coincidence, she did have a small experience with digging, though it's mostly in her family's small yard. She tugged the grasses on her patch, its roots already taking in a large chunk of the dirt. It's not much, but it's a decent start. The girl's already on her knees, starting to scoop out the dry yet sticky muck out of her starting hole.

The Nerds Need A Lesson
@Jack Warren @Breana OliveireAn equally enraged expression was plastered on the young Ravenclaw's face. This was ridiculous! Thomas had been the victim in this exchange, at least in his eyes, and now he was forced to join hands in punishment alongside the aggressor?! Should the boy have been bolder, he would have almost certainly fought tooth and nail against the Prefect's ruling, cruel and uncompromising as it was. Instead, the young wizard threw up his hands in exasperation, letting out an irritated sigh before ultimately getting to work.
Bitterly, under Thomas' breath, he grumbled about the injustice. Likely, should anyone have been listening, his indignation was audible. "Stupid. Freakin'. Prefect. Stupid hole. Stupid dirt. This is all stupid." His words of immense wisdom came clipped as he dug his hole, occasionally sparing a moment to glare at Jack. Idly, he wondered if he could get away with throwing some dirt his way. The Ravenclaw boy could certainly make it appear to be some sort of accident, a thought that pleased him greatly. So, shortly after his adversary got to work digging, he followed suit, clumps of mud and dirt flinging in every which way. Some of it likely came perilously close to both Jack and Breana, but the rather determined expression on his face revealed none of the inward joy he felt when he did so.
Fortunately, Thomas' overly competitive nature outweighed his disdain for Jack's authority, and in seeing that Breana was making considerable progress, his initial goal of being rather petulant about the digging slowly faded into the background. The Ravenclaw wanted to defeat his contemporary, and finish his hole first. Wordlessly, he started this imaginary competition, a fervor setting in.
