SAPPHIRE KNEW THAT HER CUT-OFF WOULD BRING ABOUT AT LEAST ONE QUESTION. She was just glad that the other girl didn't seem keen on prying too much into her personal life. The question was actually fairly easy to answer. "I'm actually a pureblood, but I was adopted by muggles and they didn't really tell me anything about magic. They told their children lies about who my parents were, and they also didn't tell me much about myself either. I found out when I got my letter, and moved in with my twin sister last summer as well." She smiled at the thought of Koko. "I mean, if you were to look at us, you probably wouldn't be able to tell we're siblings. We look quite different. But our personalities or sometimes scarily similar," she added.

She walked further into the lake as well, trailing her fingers through the water. "Do you have any siblings?" Her orbs, which were almost as dark as the water, glimmered with curiosity. She actually didn't know much about normal people either. Well, she supposed that normal wasn't really the best term, but she didn't talk much at all.

She wished she could write at the moment, since inspiration was flowing to her without bars for the first time in a while. She was a bit miffed by that. She basically only seemed to get inspiration when she didn't have anything to jot it down with. It was quite annoying, if you asked her.

"Yeah, I have 3 siblings. Two brothers and a sister, my brother's the only with nonmagical blood besides my mum." Margaret replied, beginning to wonder why Sapphire had cut off but shaking the thought from her head, knowing she shouldn't care.

She was quiet for a bit before feeling like she should break the silence. "So, uh- I don't remember if you said or not but where do you come from. Usually, Margaret could remember details very well but currently, she couldn't seem to remember what Sapphire had answered, she assumed it was the side effects of the potion. After Sapphire answered Margaret would ask "What's your favorite Hogwarts class and what do you enjoy most about Hogwarts? And if she missed anything from the muggle world. She couldn't remember if she had asked that either (I sincerely don't remember if I asked these questions or not since I've been on a trip and don't have much time to check if I already asked them because I'll be on another trip in the morning and have to get ready for that, sorry if I'm repeating myself.) Margaret missed her literature classes and her parents and one older brother but other than that she was very much enjoying the wizarding world and staying at Hogwarts.

THREE SIBLINGS SEEMED LIKE A LOT TO SAPPHIRE FOR SOME REASON. She'd had both two and one herself, but 3 still seemed like a lot. Why? She would never know. She shut her eyes, turning her face to the sun. It was warm, but not overbearingly so like it would be in the summer, when she returned to L.A..

"So, uh- I don't remember if you said or not but where do you come from?" Margaret asked.

Sapphi pursed her lips, not sure what exactly the other girl meant by that. "Well, I was born in a small English town, but I recently moved to L.A. before the start of the year," she said. She didn't remember much from her past, since she'd had to move at the ripe age of three years old, but she knew that much.

She listened to the next question Margaret asked. "What's your favourite Hogwarts class and what do you enjoy most about Hogwarts? Do you miss anything from the muggle world?" It was a bit of a repeat question, but more specific than before.

A wry smile wended its way onto her lips. "I certainly miss my books," she said. "I couldn't bring them all with me to school, no matter how much I would've liked too. I didn't have enough space in my trunk." She paused before answering the other questions. "My favourite class is definitely potions. Not just because it gives me time to draw unlike other classes..." She muttered the last part. "I enjoy the grounds and the library the most. I'm a huge bookworm, but I also love the outdoors and- well, L.A. isn't the most... natural? green? whatever... state."

The smile faded a little, turning into a bit of a wistful neutral look. "What's your family like? Or if that's too intrusive, what're your housemates like?" At the mention of family, her eyes had seemed to darken, but it wasn't exactly the most notable thing, so she hoped the other girl wouldn't notice it.

Something seemed on edge with Sapphire with her last question but Margaret didn't ask questions. Margaret always seemed to be able to sense things others couldn't like how people might be feeling or if something seemed wrong. Margaret could sense something off but she just continued on, without even showing signs that she could sense something on edge.

"Well, I have a muggle mother and a wizard father. My oldest brother, Jase, is a squib, he's the trouble maker. Everyone else in my family is able to perform magic besides my mum and dad. My sister, Lizzy is the second oldest, she's the motherly loving type person. Then I have one other brother who's older than me, his name's Carter, he's the cute, rascally type of brother. We usually get along not always but most of the time." Margaret replied.

She would ask about Sapphire's family but she felt like it was a sensitive topic so instead, she asked "Are you excited for the summer or do you think it'll be more of a pain being away from Hogwarts?

It was about a month away from Summer so it was coming up pretty quickly and they'd all be going home for the summer so they wouldn't be at Hogwarts fr about 3 months. Then Margaret began to wonder if that was an okay question considering Sapphire seemed to have family issues and going home for the summer would mean seeing their families, but she couldn't take it back now.

"HM?" she hummed. "Oh, I'll be heading home with my sister. Her adoptive father officially adopted me sometime last summer, so it'll be pretty good, I think. The heat's gonna kill me, however." She shuddered at the thought of the blazing hot weather.

She popped her joints, blue orbs reopening to gaze at the sky. Fluffy white clouds drifted slowly by, looking quite surreal to the pale-haired girl. "I'm glad I took up Koko's offer for me to move with her. I miss my other adoptive parents, but it's nice. I also like being with a member of my biological family."

She shut her mouth, a bit nervous that she'd slip up and reveal something of her past that she wouldn't want to. "I don't even really know what I'm doing out here anymore," she said with a slightly nervous laugh in her voice. "But at the same time, I don't want to go back to the castle." She ran her tongue over her teeth, lips parting slightly. Her brow was furrowed, trying to think of a question or something. "Do you ever feel the sudden urge to go into a place that's off limits just for the fun of it?" she questioned, eyes wandering towards the Forbidden Forest.

Margaret could almost fee hot flashes hitting her as Sapphire talked about the heat. Margaret hated the heat she rather be freezing over boiling. She shook her head and focused on the cool water around her legs. She smiled at the beautiful day, it was warm but not hot, the water was cool but not cold, she thought it was all so perfect.

As Sapphire moved onto the family part of her life Margaret understood why she didn't really want to talk about it. Sapphire must have been through multiple homes. She was an orphan and that's why she didn't want to discuss her family. Margaret thought like she said at least she has her sister That's good right?

She was so off in her own world by now, thinking about the beautiful day and Sapphire's family she didn't even hear Sapphire's question. She was looking forward at Sapphire by now, who was looking up. She came back into reality a few moments later when she noticed the awkward silence. Oh she must have said something she wanted me to respond to. Did she ask a question? Oh, shoot what did she say? Margaret asked herself panicked trying to dig through her subconscious. Hoping the back of her mind was focused on the question, but there was nothing. She decided just to apologize and ask Sapphire to repeat it. On a normal day, she probably would be extremely embarrassed but she wasn't today so she just said "oh, sorry. What'd you say?"

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I sometimes blank on ideas and it takes a break or refresher for me to be able to get to it. And what is it with Sapphire and running into redheaded Ravenclaws? She's done it once a year for each of her years at Hogwarts.

"OH, IT WASN'T MUCH," she said quietly. "I was just asking whether you ever felt like going somewhere off limits." Once again, her eyes strayed to the dark woods. She always felt that way, personally. She loved the danger and she also found a great enjoyment in breaking rules at times.

She shifted her weight so most of it was on her right leg, crossing her arms. Her eyes glassed over, then cleared, then glassed over again. After the response, she would say, "I feel it quite often. I'm not normally much of a rule breaker, but I tend to break them if they have to due with curfews or barriers."

She looked over at the redheaded girl, expression seeming contemplating, even though she wasn't really contemplating anything. She turned her gaze back towards the forest. It really was a shame that she wasn't allowed to go into it, but she supposed it was also for the better. Technically. People tended to want to do something the moment they're told that they're not allowed to.

Rules will turn out to be the death of me, she thought, letting out an inaudible sigh. The water lapped around her ankles as the shore was washed over again and again by the cool liquid. The movement of the water seemed like it was going in slow motion.

"Oh yeah, I love causing trouble it might be just because it's in human nature or it might be because people always make rules against things that are fun (probably because rules are made to make life boring-Margaret murmured under her breath) but either way I love to break rules too." Margaret replied. She looked at Sapphire and fallowed her trail of sight to where Sapphire was looking. Then she looked up, the sky was a beautiful, blue color. The sky was fairly clear besides the fluffy white clouds scattered across the beautiful blue. That was a good thing though they were very joyful looking clouds.

"What's the worst thing you've done that broke the rules?" Margaret as spontaneously "feel free to say that you'd rather pass on answering the question." Margaret didn't really have an answer for this question set but she still thought it was a pretty interesting question to ask. Margaret began to ponder her answer to her own question in case Sapphire asked.

She looked down and suddenly realized how far into the water she was and decided to go back closer to the surface and sit down since she was already basically all the way into it, already.

SHE HUMMED IN RESPONSE TO MARGARET'S ANSWER. Her blue eyes glimmered in a way akin to light bouncing off water. It was somewhat peaceful outside, making it easier to talk.

"Hm, I'm not really sure," she said in response to the other girl's question. "I guess there was one time when I was younger and I climbed onto a dinosaur skeleton in a museum, and also when I almost drowned in the lake during summer camp once when I went out after curfew... I suppose I don't normally do very extreme things." She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly.

She headed back towards the shore as well, plopping down on the sand. I wish I had a water healing factor, she thought, loosely referencing one of her favourite characters from muggle literature. It was a real shame that the movies were absolutely terrible. But then again, it wouldn't do much for mental wounds, would it.

"Can't remember if I've already asked, but what do you plan to do over the summer? I personally don't know, but I still want to get more acquainted with the states. Especially the city I live in, since it's pretty big," she said. She waited for the answer as she gazed across the seemingly endless blue.
