Here's hoping this doesn't become madness PV

The library had always been a comforting place for Miranda. It was quiet, and you could find the answers to everything there if you only looked hard enough. Well, maybe not everything, but close enough.

She made her way down the familiar rows, brushing her fingers along the spines of the books she passed. It was beautiful there, if one only knew where and how to look. Very few knew how to appreciate a library fully, however, so she would probably sound mad if she tried to describe what she meant any further.

Toward the middle of the library, she found a collection of large wooden tables carved with spirals and vines that looked far too complicated to have been achieved through non-magical means. With a smile, Miranda carefully sat herself down next to one of them and dragged another chair over to make a total of four seats. Perfect.

Now all she had to do was wait for the rest of the study group Henry had set up to arrive. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too long, because otherwise she'd end up getting lost in a book.

Speaking of books...Miranda picked one up with a rough cover that seemed almost scaly in texture. There was no title, but when she flipped it open it seemed to be full of drawings of magical creatures and old wizards and witches in long robes. Although, the utter lack of words made it uninteresting to Miranda. Sure, some people said a picture was worth a thousand words, and she completely disagreed. Pictures never had an exact meaning. How could you learn anything form them?

Her contemplation was interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching....
